    Howdy Farmers,

Please post your constructive comments, positive and negative, regarding the mini events going on in April 2016, in this Feedback thread.

Please be sure to bring arguments for supporting your statements, simple comments saying you like it or hate it will not help the Team understand what goes great, and what needs to be looked into, when planning future mini events.

If you have any questions, please use the General Issues section or the Technical Issues section for technical problems - this thread is for feedback only. Thank you for understanding.

We are looking forward to your feedback!
    Best regards,

Not listed as an Event but loved the April Fool's zeppelins covering the screen. Shooting them only increasing their numbers.

i have a suggestion/comment about the mini event Neon stables. when we deposit an animal and its worth 10000 but the quest only asks for 9000 i think it should be carried over to the next part of the quest, because those of us who do these are going to do the next part anyway. and that's loss, i can't always hit the mark exactly and i hate loss.. Other than this issue i love the neon stables events.

I agree with your suggestion. :) It can be tough to make an exact donation.

Don't like the new tree thingy. You get a 1 in 8 chance of a rare tree and there are only 3 rare trees to choose from so most likely to get same old same old common trees, which most of us have in abundance. And it costs 5 BB.

    Pick-a-Tree Spree

I think it is a good concept. For the same price of a wonder tree you partly choose the possible outcomes :)

It is very nice that some older trees like the Chistmas tree 2011 and others are included among the common. The weak spot is the uncommon category. Once XL & XXL upgrades are introduced for a rare tree, you are soon flooded with them (if you buy seedlings at least). So I would say that rowan, loquat, fullmoon maple and stone pine does not belong in the uncommon category. On the other hand the tilia tree could have been placed there. As far as I recall this has been an event reward a couple of times, but not included in wonder trees and not even tradeable.

For me, the trees offered in the uncommon category are not attractive enough. Here is an example of what I'd like to see instead:

Uncommon Trees (you need to select 2 of them for each seedling purchased)
    • Kowhai Tree
    • Sorb Apple Tree
    • Tilia Tree
    • Scented tree
    • One or two of the product trees
Not buying any now, but if the selection is improved next time, I might. As I said, I like the idea.

I like that the Pick a Tree Spree shows your results immediately and that some of the older wonder seedlings are a possibility.

I agree with what Mir has well stated about the Pick a Tree Spree. It is a good idea, but that "uncommon" grouping is unappealing - I have quite a few of all those trees and do not consider them uncommon. Not sure I will participate, because of that group.

I agree with Pnp's comment - very nice to get immediate results.

I rarely complain about this game but I just wasted 5 BBs. I gave the Pick a Tree Spree try. I don't remember my combinations but one of the trees that I put in was a Strawberry and my great big surprise.......hold it.......wait for it.......it was the awesome......wait........that ever needed tree we all are wanting to get............THE STRAWBERRY TREE! >:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(>:(

I don't care if there is a BB tree in that bunch of surprise trees. I won't waste 8 trees to get a COMMON tree back! What a stupid event!

******I stand corrected as I clearly misunderstood the selections for trees in this event. I think this event has its typical pros and cons. I'm glad BP is trying something new to see how it works. I hope in the futute there could also be the inclusion of Baha trees and XXL trees.

I think there is a lot of misunderstanding about this event.. myself included.

We pick 8 trees that we would like to have, then pay 5 BB to get a chance at one of the 8 we picked, but more than a few people have thought that you had to donate the items or (less often) that you got more than one item. Although the mods keep saying "read the FAQs", the truth is that man of those asking HAVE read the FAQs, including myself. Therefore the issue is in how its worded. Oftentimes, things seem clear to people who already understand, but can be confusing to people who do not know. Also, there has been some misinformation unfortunately put forward by others. I wish the mods would/could step in in those cases for a correction.

I like the fact that we can pick which wants we want to try to recieve, but I don't think the categories are set correctly. A Christmas tree, for one is worth more than the second level items. However, since you get to choose 5 from the bottom and the delivery is chance, the exact categories don't matter that much. If you repeat this, maybe don't even have a tier 2, just the first and last, but increase the number of items we can choose in the first category.

EDIT: as farmingbird below mentioned, it would be nice if we could see how many we have in inventory of each tree in the selection window. I realize we can all just count (and that it would not include those on our fields anyway), but remembering is hard and writing it down takes time.

I just wanted to start with the pick a tree spree, but uhm... in the selection window, you cannot see how many trees of which kind you own.

So, how am I to decide which ones to choose (thanks ariel) ? from memory? not a chance.

Untill I can SEE how many I have of each, I'm not playing, sorry.

farmingfreebird You don't donate anything but you choose 8(some of each category) and you will get one from the trees you chose.

I really appreciate this event. I have quite few gaps in my 'tree cover' and to have a chance to get some of the trees I am missing at WAY shorter odds than the mystery seedling event offers is just great.
I messed up to begin with, so am now the proud owner of 2 ginkgo trees when I really only wanted one, but that's ok, it is a gamble after all. All the trees I did get (bar one) can be bought for BBs, but 5 BBs for (for example) a Mirabelle Plum which costs at best 28 BBs in the shop is fine by me.
So thank you for this event.... Any chance we could have one for rare stables too?

At first I was so confused but now after
some players straightened me out on what I was doing
I went back and took another look.
I bought some BBs from the sale and am now the proud owner of 2 gold leaf trees,
a ginkgo, a Christmas tree, mirabelle plum and a chequer tree!!
    Love this event
    Thank you BP

The Pick-A-Tree is a great event for newbies... otherwise it's just something else depressing about the direction this game is heading.
I gave it 6 tries for the heck of it, of course I got 6 common trees no surprise there.
My biggest issue is there goes the market on the last few things we can make CC on, Xmas trees, Mirabelle for example, stick a fork in em as they are done! Why is BP so determined to take away anything that's even a little bit rare, Gift & Trade is already a sleeper event.
EDIT: The post above this says it all. I think for fun I'll go watch the market prices dive bomb.

totally in favor of this versus buying mass quantities of mystery seedlings! the odds are way better, most of the trees like ginko, ect you can buy anytime but they run 50 or more bb in the shop. this way if you get one of those, you saved 45 or more bb. I got both the dogwood and the chequer tree & didn't spend 1/2 as much as I usually do. I also didn't get any 1xl apple tree upgrades that you can buy anytime with cc.
My only question is- why isn't there a baha version so we could get the mangosteen, cashew, & wampee trees? :D:D :Dcodyj#444750068
