If you can, try to get 8 star coins on the first two levels. You can then go to the shop, select Misc. and exchange those star coins for 40 PF.

Glad to see the little guy doing well. :)

Just to clarify my statement, that's 8 on each so a total of 16 star coins to get the PF. If you make backpacks, you can use them to get one PF per backpack where offered in the Bingo panel. :)

Poor Mischa looks tired out...trying to protect her baby and take care of him is a full time job. ;) So happy they are both doing well. Hope you are getting some rest before more exciting arrivals. :)

    Nothing exciting to add today.

Katya and Twiglet are still keeping their legs crossed and very calm, so no new babies today.

Mischa is doing so well this year, she even had the sense to take Thor into the field shelter as the weather got worse today..
Weather should be better tomorrow so it will be a good day to welcome new babies ;)

Love to see that he is getting stronger! Better watch out with this one! Cute and inquisitive. Competition for Hector at least until he moves away. ;)

Calving is driving me beyond... Katya and Twiglet - I thought would pop over the last 3 days (Ana has a way to go).... Friday/Saturday I am committed to work elsewhere for most of the day - hubby on duty... Not that I don't trust him, but come on girls, I would prefer to be on duty!!! Stress, stress stress..

Oh No!! You do know that is when one of them will start calving if they haven't by then!:( Poor hubby I hope he is ready! ;)
Good Luck and maybe they will give birth before the week end! By the way LOVE little Thor playing with the ball! Thor and Hector could play soccer together! lol:D

EDIT: Just checked her Facebook page. Last update 7 hours ago says no new babies.

    Oh sorry... no updates...
The girls or at least Katya and Twiglet are turning me grey... loads of false alarms - they should have calved by now with the size of them/udders BUT no new babies.
Mischa is NOT getting "Mum of the Year Award", TG she is feeding this calf well, this year, but has given up stimulating/cleaning his bottom. To avoid flystrike and impaction of bowels I am having to catch him up and clean bottom... I can cope with baby reindeer pooh which is far smellier then adult stuff BUT as some had clumped dried on bottom he doesn't appreciate my ministrations so have to catch him asleep as he can outrun me easily!!! :)
He's now eating a few pellets, grazing and chewing cud & running rings around his mother....
AND it's his One Week Birthday tomorrow 6am UK time! :)

Thanks for the update, Karen and the photo :inlove:. Hopefully the two ladies will deliver their bundles of joy soon and at least the weather's better than it has been (well, it is this side of the country!).:)

If you can, when you get his bottom clean, put petroleum jelly or Bag Balm on it to keep new from sticking. (Should be safe for him, I've used it on my lips!)

Cassi, great idea, hadn't thought of that.. Hey, we won't use same tub on our lips afterwards.. or would we. ;)

Tomorrow and Saturday are days I am dreading as I don't work elsewhere often but am committed to these 2 days in May (hubby on reindeer duty).
I just bet the next 2 calves will be born and hubby can't even catch Thor :( I can do "silly o'clock" checks and midday) but... :(
I am worried about possible coccidiosis with Thor (as mother isn't cleaning)... but I can only do random checks in the next couple of days ... hubby on duty. Panic, panic, panic as even if I call vet out, not sure hubby will be able to catch him for exam... I'm in EEEEEKKK mode at the moment!

Is there anyone hubby can call to help in an emergency (or just a panic)?

Could you perhaps put Thor and Mischa up for the next couple of days so they are easily accessible for your quick peek ins and for hubby and vet in case of any problem? Then when you return, turn them back out.

I don't know if it is the case with reindeer or not, but when my Mom was raising sheep and one of her ewes did not perform all her 'motherly duties', it was determined that she needed a hormone shot. Once she got the hormone, all her mother instincts kicked in and she became a wonderful mother.

Just a quick post as things are a bit manic. Mischa is cleaning this morning tg!
AND Twiglet has just had her calf. Don't have weight or sex yet as it's bonding time and picture not great - I'll get better ones later.
It's a pale grey with a lot of white on it's face - so more like his/her father.
