Note that the blueprints mentioned in the first post are not available now (and therefore no Jumbo stables). This time there is Mystery Cargo I and Mystery Cargo II and the possible results are listed in the second post linked above.

If you want to buy stables for the Express, here are the cheapest options (in case you don't have the baha animals unlocked I have included the cheapest mainland alternative, but these are much more expensive):

If you want to build something, the best stable upgrade to build is:

• Yellow bat roost (460 points): 100 wood, some other tools and 5 albino bats

There are a few workshops that require no wood, all are worth 150 points:

• Moustache salon
• Koi pond
• Apiary
• Ostrich egg factory

I wouldn't recommend turning in orange stables or rare pens. I would instead suggest using basic or yellow mainland workshops that you don't need, building yellow bat roosts if you can spare the wood, build workshops with no wood, or just buy stables with CC. Here are some combinations for the two cargoes.

Cheapest Cargo I (500 points) with stables you buy:

• 2 yellow monkey stables
• 4 camel pens
• Total 92,000 CC

Combination with yellow workshops for Cargo I (500 points):

• 2 yellow workshops
• 4 monkey pens (12,000 CC total)

Combination with yellow workshops for Cargo I (500 points):

• 3 yellow workshops

Combination with basic workshops for Cargo I (500 points):

• 2 workshops
• 4 sloth pens (24,000 CC total)

Combination with basic workshops for Cargo I (500 points):

• 3 workshops
• 2 duck pens (1,600 CC total)
• 1 chicken pen (220 CC)

Combination with yellow bat for Cargo I (500 points):

• Yellow bat
• 4 chicken pens (880 CC total)

For those new to this event, keep in mind that you are limited to 6 items for exchange. That is why you can't put 10 sloth pens on the train.

 

The farm express this year is much better than last year! Last year you needed 1250 points for one "luxury" cargo I am not so interested in the Cargo II, I have multiple of each of the rare workshops and never use them. From Cargo I I want the otter den (don't have any), the other rare stables are OK, but what I am really after is orange/red/pink upgrades I found over 90 yellow workshops in my inventory so I'll use 2 of those together with 4 monkey pens for each run and hope for stable upgrades. Orange workshop upgrades are not too bad, and yellow workshops can be recycled on the train. So far it looks good

Lots of yellows in my inventory. I also have 8 Classic Beaver IIs. Will have to see how to best use them. BTW: Albino bats have pretty much disappeared from the market, lol!

I didn't include the points for most of the classic stables, and they are not necessarily the same as yellow/orange upgrades. Classic beaver II is only 180 points. If I were you I'd rather try and trade them for orange pens next G&T.

 

And this is the time that I regret bulk listing my yellow workshops just to get rid of them Oh well I still have a few in my inventory to have a punt with.

Thanks Mir! I was pretty much going to give the event a pass, since I really don't want more than a couple of the stables (another otter might be nice). However, I do have quite a few useless yellow pens, so after reading your explanation, I think I may go ahead and do it!

 

At least this will save me some G&T licenses! Time to clean up the barn and hopefully get something nice!

This is Superb very informative Posting Mir85 Fantastic as at times English FAQ is quiet Lousy as German FAQ is always Better. I did ask for this kind of information as Mod response was not that helpful.

It is a huge help to newbies too to enjoy this Event for First time too. There are farmers whom have very little amount of Stables to Trade that has a high Exchange Value with Combination Total of 500 Points.

The Crow Roast and Bat Roost has a high Exchange Value that are ideal for this kind of Event. Currently the MM Event is Running for 48 Hours as From Jack Shop can Make Crow Roast or Bat Roost just using Spooky Crops only. There is no need to consume any tools to make certain Workshops that has a reason Exchange Value as Crow Roast or Bat Roost is worth Three Times that.

Jack Shop MM Event

• Crow Roost (500 Abominable Plant,250 Googly Eye Bush,1000 ToeJam, 750 Braincoli)
• Bat Roost (1000 Tombstones,750 Bonetrees,1250 Ghosts)

Crow Roost require lesser amount of spooky crops, that has lesser Growing Time too.

I Definitely will be getting rid of Surplus Yellow Stables as Yellow Workshops are completely useless to me. As would be lovely to win Swan Stables and Otter Stables, Plus any Pinks Stables would be FAB

The Last Time Loading Express Train of 1250 Points was very expensive and hard. It is good news now only need to donate 500 Points this time.

 

You might be a little more respectful of the mods who do do a lot for us. Even if the DE FAQs sometimes contain more info than ours, you should remember that they have a much bigger mod team as well.

 

I would not suggest this event to any real newbie, in truth, even with the changes... but that is just my opinion. Second farmers, yes, but most real newbies just won't have the pens.

 

Woody I forgot to Add an Option that Mir85 Pointed out.

As a Suggestion for Newbies to be able to Sell Things in the Markets to Make CC. up to 92000 CC. As They have Three Days for Duration of This Event to be able to send off a couple of Express Trains At Least. This will also appeal to 2nd Farmers too.
