Due to the fact that in the blink of an eye Summer arrived in my country, after 9 (!) months of Autumn, I just couldn't take full advantage of the train. Managed to do about 100 rides and now am proud owner of a fully upgraded animal set. The pinks on each of the basic animals were the top prize.

I have the results of my train cargoes-Mystery stables II- sail factory, Or guano, Or crow hoard, Moose music hall. Mystery stables I- Or bee, Or chameleon, Or beaver, Or goose, Or crow hoard (yes, 1 from each types of stables) Or ostrich, Red mouse, Red horse, Swan and Otter :inlove::inlove:my first. After seeing how many people were getting pinks I was hoping to get my first one but alas it wasn't meant to be. Guess I will build one myselfxD At least I have all of my Neons. So happy I finally have an otter and this swan makes my 4th. Really happy with the red mouse. The rest are pretty much re-repeats. Congrats to all on their new furry farm friends;):D:D

Wait, where'd winter go? You mean you got to totally skip the slush, sub-zero temps, and bitter winds?:p What is the world coming to!o_OxD

Okay, final lot of train cargo finished (tried to put them out last night, but my connection quit working at the exact time I was trying to do so:mad::cry:), and did really well. From 13, I think it was, got kingfisher, tortoise, orange apiary, orange bat guano, yellow feather station, orange dog, 2 swan, 3 armadillos, pink horse:D and pink beaver:inlove::inlove:. Very happy with results, don't miss the CCs I spent at all, and well worth the wait. spots didn't fare quite as well on the last load, getting orange cow milk and yellow eggxD, along with other assorted oranges, but did manage to get 3 more otters and another pink mouse:inlove:, so I'm not complaining at all. Now if they'd give us a tree express with equally excellent results...:music:;)

    Hi everyone !

I have some questions regarding drop rate. I know it has been told several times. But I am not still clear about. Can someone clarify them. And bear with me if I am repeatedly asking the same.

    1. It is said that idle time is bad for drops. The time between the maturity of crops/trees/pens and the harvesting is idle time, is it not ? So if I put out my 20 hrs tree with higher eps right now, there will be 5 to 6 hrs idle time. Will it affect my drops ?

    2. Comfort fields give twice the drops. So is comfort field of carnation better than animal pens ? Is comfort field better than a field full of 20 hrs highest EP giving trees ? Say a field full of Maples.

    3. Base pens give better drops. But in some cases - like chopsticks, pandas, camels - Orange Pens take more time than the base ones. So which will give better drops ?

Please take your time to reply. No hurry. I just want it for future event.

How nice to see many so happy with their mystery results. WOW, plenty of pinks. I had three (3) just to get rid of a few pens. What was returned, was not quite as useless as what the farm got rid of.

As many know, the farm plays animals so I am paying a bit of attention to what the results farms are receiving. With all the pink and reds being given, this farm is not so quick to even pay what it was paying for the animals before this event. I see the number of listings increasing and price dropping for some of those animals too.

With the above said, please allow me to offer you a significant brief trip down EV Analysis lane:
    • Every animal has a market price (which varies) and an EV (which does not). With these two numbers one is able to compute a market to EV ratio. Fine, many have spreadsheets which do this and this is a nice start.
    • Next one periodically computes the market to EV ratio. So if ones does this over time and maintains the results then one is able to see a pattern. Either it is increasing or decreasing or relatively stable. If one does this one is able to see patterns with crops and even breeding animals. (Most I have found do not do this with breeding animals but opt to look at rates of one to a higher level animal. This is useful. This is very elementary and is really putting the cart before the horse. But if used as a second analysis, this becomes very useful. This must be done over time to see it and even profit from it or breed successfully using it.
    • To skip a lot and fast forward, if one were to do the exact same analysis using crops, one is able to see a pattern developing and very very easily.
If one understands this then I can offer only two more steps (meba ..... slowly.....hahahaha).

Remember the breeding event where farmers bred lots of animals and then listed them. The method enabled me to determine exactly which animals to invest in and even the maximum amount to pay.

Again, congratulations to all on the beautiful results and thank you very much for sharing them. I will consider them.

My final splurge got me an Otter on my two minor (lol) farms with a few other things that will sit in the inventory until an event calls for them! Two out of three wasn't bad considering I didn't get really with it till the final hours! xD

Recently I have been very busy in RL so only managed to login twice a day and load only 9 cargos :(

    My results:
Yellow Crow Hoard, Yellow Cookware Forge, Orange Koi, Orange Pig x2, Orange Donkey, Tortoise x2, Swan

Overall, no pinks/reds and nothing really good except swan:cry: I think Cebus stole all my luck, look at all his pink pens...xD xD
Will throw an orange pig at an unsuspecting newbieo_O
