Very true. I would have said you hit the nail on its head. But David would say what has the poor nail done and laugh. So I am not saying it. Where is our Poet Laurate ? I did not find him in our previous event. May be he missed the train.

We needed help, the axe event too big, the toga-honk needs way too many we will see our fall. But a cry went out, answered still the ship it comes in mist this day.

Thank you to all those who have worked out all the permutations for this event ... complicated but looks like fun. After looking here and checking out the prizes, I have decided to let this one go. I am working all but two days of the event, have hardly any harvester vouchers and unless we have another half price harvester sale, I really cannot bear to harvest four or five fields on two farms manually. I am doing my harvesting in short bursts at the moment and building up my animal stocks (slowly!).

I will set up the SOS thread but it is impossible to give a daily average required so will just set it up for farmers to ask for help without all the usual links, etc, apart from this thread of course!

My niece loves my little mermaid and frozen... can't believe how many times she makes me watch these with her
Had to make a frozen cake for her birthday and had to make an Olaf out of fondant icing ..the shape of him was good ...but trying to get his teeth in .... was a nightmare LOL

 

AXE COMPONENTS
Sorry to be slow of understanding - is it confirmed that each of the components in a mini game are ranked in a cumulative order? eg the ten runes have ten different values from 0.5 to 5.0 ? thanks.

Another thing which is "open for speculations" is how the dots for the heads are displayed. For hilts and runes it is easy enough. There are five dots so the hilts are displayed as 1/2/3/4/5, while the runes as 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5/4/4.5/5. But we only have 8 heads, when I looked at the examples I found
0.5/1/1.5/2.5/3/4/4.5/5, I didn't find any 2 or 3.5, so maybe those are the 8 dots that are used for the heads. It may seem inconsequential, but you want to know for instance if you have picked the four worst heads, since it is then safe to pick another one for your fifth throw.

Aristo1, it hasn't been confirmed, but seems very likely from the examples I have seen.

habalala had me thinking on one hand I love trying to figure out the best possible way to play this, but I don't want scare people off making them think it has to be very complicated. You can do very well with a simple strategy too So in that spirit I'll summarize what we have already discussed.


Simple non-complicated strategy for axe building

Pick four different heads, hilts and runes for your for tries, for the 5th throw (which is the one that counts) pick the best of the heads/hilts/runes you tried, unless

• you didn't find the best hilt, then pick the one you didn't try, that'll be it
• the best head you found has 2.5 dots, then pick a new one and it'll be better
• the best rune you found has 2 dots, then pick a new one and it'll be better

This strategy works regardless of how the star coins are awarded and no decisions to make.


Medium strategy for axe building

Basically the same as above, but if

• the best head you found has 3 dots, consider taking a shot in the dark. Look at the other heads you picked, your best rune and try to find the chance for getting more star coins. If your best try was 4 dots or more, keep it.
• the best rune you found has 2.5 or 3 dots, consider taking a shot in the dark. Look at the other runes you picked, your best head and try to find the chance for getting more star coins. If your best try was 3.5 dots or more, keep it.

Here you need to know how the star coins are awarded to make an informed decision.


Fully optimized strategy (I hope) Cancelled

I went ahead and made a spreadsheet that shows the percentages for getting the different number of star coins for the different options. I'll try to check if my theory is correct as soon as possible. If I can figure it out, I can share the link to the spreadsheet with those interested.

My strategy grow crop till last day then stalk a gray matter and nip a good plan. Don't tell them.

Trying to get my buffs in a row that will work..... what is the crop? I am planking here, herb, we don't have that group here, flower??? grrr I hate it when it is not spelled out. I am about at the end of that plank.....

Also, take an occasional walk break , outside if the weather allows (if not, do some other excercise)-- it will do wonders for your study power!

 

This Event is Almost Among Us. I am going to Build up Stock of Golden Root as we will be getting 10 Seeding to start with. Firstly place them into 2 x 2 Fields and Nuke it with Everything. Make Sure you have CAC Running for Few Days in Diamond Slot.

The First Round will become 90 Golden Root. I am going to Nuke it Again using 90 (2 x 2 Fields) While Nuking Event Crops can increase Quantity of Golden Root using Suzy Super Grow. On "nd Harvest will Get you 810 Golden Root.

We are not certain what LED Values we are expecting on 8 Possible Axe Heads. We know one of them will have 5 LED but which one. The Same Goes to Axe Magic Rune as there are 10 of them. One of them will have 5 LED But we need to Note Down The outcome of LED Values of 8 Heads and 10 Magic Runes.

So that we know All Possible Values of LED of Each HEAD and Magic Rune. Which helps us decide weather we make do next best LED Value or, Risk getting an Higher LED Value. But Might End up getting a low Value LED. I Strong Suggest to Write Down LED Value of Each Mini Game. The Reason is after each Mini Game, All Heads and Magic Runes are Randomly Revalued in Terms of LED Value.

But Hilts this do not matter at all. As we have 5 attempts getting the right 5 LED Hilt by the 5th Attempt if not earlier

That's how I perceived for the head's dots. They are very tricky, indeed. Especially the 3rd one that could lead to assume it's the 2nd...

Anyway, I said it's highly improbable that we get lower than 32 coins. I have to clarify that it is so WITHOUT TAKING ANY RISK!!!!
Taking risks should be minimized. And be prepared to have a few hiccups...
Myself, I'd only take a risk if I'm sure I'll have at least 16 points (out of 23) in the end.

It looks like this is another event that will require me to demolish my farm.... But on another note, I am putting out my classic parrots and elephants in place of Baha crops as my "waiting to build up event crop stock" items. They are short enough and of more value to me at the moment than the similarly timed crops.

 

Can't say that i am impressed with finishing the LL rune...because my drops aren't any better then when it was at 30%
In Fact wish I had stayed at 30% percent now and kept all my pandas
I got 144 drops

I Completed all of it Mir there is no LL on my tree anymore
Before i completed it ... my LL on the tree was at 30%

And in farmers society I had more to finish ...I finished that this week with Pandas
I had 600 pandas ...I now have 326
If 30% is the max ... Then i don't understand why i still had more to donate in Farmers society
It's done and hopefully it will get better with time

 

My initial harvest gave me 130 drops
How did y'all do??

 

Nellie, 30% is maximum, so it must have been less before. How many levels did you finish? If it was only one you won't see a dramatic increase. But a few here and a few there adds up over time.

 

I got a 166 from carnations, pens and trees.

 

I got 125 from carnations, physalis, and trees Not impressed at all

 

I got 243 from 1*1 plots of red cabbage and broccoli all over main land fields. On baha I had honeydew melons and rain forrest covered with trees.

I am really looking forward to building them axes!
