    I just paid on all four farms 5 times each and hit bulls eye twice. Most of the time got 32 coins. Not sure what is the best way. Guess I will be growing a lot of crops.

    I'm way behind everyone. I don't have enough crops to build more than 2 yet.:sleepy: So, I will wait til I have at least 5k of event crop. With this long of grow time....I want to throw a few before I have to wait a whole 6 and a half hours to do more.:wuerg::p

    Turns out my earlier comment was correct, this is a bit like the game Mastermind. (anyone curious can google it... I would but posting outside links is not allowed).

    Don't stress too much, just guess... then guess again. even if you get close to perfect, go ahead and make more tries. Then on the last run, take the best of all your prior choices. the only one that is not basically a "sure" thing is the rune. If you happen to get 4 terrible choices, then just take another one, its bound to be a bit better.

    Long day at work (wish I could retire) and finally got enough harvested to play a bit. Out of 4 broths I got 40, 40, 40 and bullseye. I absolutely love that axe throwing Viking goose!:inlove:

    I think this from Mir about sums it up. Best of luck to all in getting a nice stash of coins for a shopping spree! :D

    Have thrown 5 rounds of axes so far. 40sc every time except once when I got bullseye. Not too shabby, looking forward to see if this holds true onwards.

    Overall, I did 14 mini games. My results were :-
    50 star coins : 12 times
    40 star coins : 1 time
    32 star coins : 1 time

    The last 11 were all 50s. I played them today morning.

    I think this game is easy. You have to just apply your mind. Do not just click blindfoldedly.
    For the axe head. See the number of green circles your first attempt gives you. If its 1 or 2 green circle. Reject all the axe heads similar to such axe head. Go for a new one. If you get 3 or more than 3 green circles, go for axe heads similar or identical to it.

    Features of axe head :
    See its
    1. shape
    2. edges
    3. curves

    In the below two, the edges do not protrude out. Their shape is somewhat rectangular
    [IMG] [IMG]

    below 2, the edges ( that's the curve at the head) protrude out. Their shapes are somewhat triangle. But the second one is somewhat v shaped triangle. So they both have similarities and dissimilarities.

    [IMG][IMG]

    This one is semi circle and there will be a gap between it and the hilt when fitted
    [IMG]

    This one is somewhat rectangle and one side is elongated
    [IMG]
    The below 2 or triangle shaped head and the edges do not protrude out.
    [IMG][IMG]

    These are some of the features that help us to identify the axe heads. There are many more and with my English vocabulary on shapes, I tried to put it into words. If you get low number of circles, see what feature gives you minimum and reject axe heads with that features. If you get more than 3 circles, check out in the next attempt with axe head similar to it. Please bear in mind that axe head are combination of one or two features. Example, Protruding head axe [IMG]give you more green circles in first attempt. In the second attempt you use [IMG]. It might give you more green circles. But if it did not, then try the shape. Your first one is triangle, so go for a triangle in you 3rd attempt. If it too doesn't give you good results, then the criteria is not the shape or protruding one. It might be the curve. Some have semicircle curve, some have a arc, some have a part of the semicircle. So try out it and see if you can also match other features.

    Try out the same for the runes too.

    This is how I played the game. Whatever I say in this post, do not take them as the rule or law. See if what I say is correct or not and think about it. Apply your own formula. Take time to make your choices for every attempt. Do thinking. See if the hilt, axe and rune fit one another and are not awkward or unsuitable.

    See the spoiler to know How I choose the axe head.

    [IMG]

    Here after 2 attempts I found out, small curve and bigger curve didn't give me any good result. So that was not the criteria in this mini game. I tried square and semicircle along with the curves in my first 2 attempt. So in the third I went for triangle. Got 4.5 green circle. In 4th I tried another triangle to see if I get 5 green circles. It did not. So I struck to semicircle triangle of my third attempt and used it in the 5th attempt.

    This was my logic. There might be holes in my logic. But it helped me. Rough logic is enough to win 50 star coins easily

    Thank you everyone for your input on different strategies! Due to work, and my mini farm emergencies I have had a late start. I got decent drops first harvest during event, very very slow start on event plant. It's so confusing to me right now, I've not had the time to really sit down and figure this out. I will just grow and hope I too can participate. Cheers! Have fun and enjoy!

    Following 12ss12 info, I have got 14 50's and 2 40's
    I just wish the crops would grow faster so I could do more axe throwing xDxD
    Of course being English, and knowing my ancestors were raped and pillaged, I'm sure to have a good dollop of Viking in my blood.xD

    Using your axe pictures and idea 12ss12 I've made 25 Viking broths and got 19 50's and 6 40's. It all looks so easy now, thank you 12:):)

    It is really a lot easier than it sounds. If this is a repeat, sorry -- have not had time to go back (suspect it is --lol)

    make the broth, then you get 1 game per broth. Each game gives you 5 tries to make the "perfect" axe.

    Try 1. To start, just guess at each. Its random, no pattern -- just guess.
    Try 2. Unless you hit perfect (all circles lit) the first time, pick 3 DIFFERENT items.
    Only if you get a "perfect" (all circles fully lit) should you keep the same thing.
    Try 3 & 4. Same as #2. Remember, you have a total of 5 tries to get perfect, so just pick. Even if you get the next to highest item, pick another.. there is a chance to do better.
    Try 5. By round 4, you should have at least 2, if not 3 that are either the highest or very close. For the last, pick the best of the prior choices for each. The EXCEPTION, primarily for axe head, is if you get nothing better than 3 lit circles for all 4 prior selections, then just take a stab at another. The odds are you will get something better.

    IF, by chance, you happen on all 3 perfect in 1-4, then you will win the 50 coins and the game will stop automatically.

    I followed this idea and have played 17 games so far. I've gotten 50 coins almost every time. The Rune held me back a couple of times getting 40 coins, while I was applying the same logic, I didn't always find the right shape early enough.

    Hope this keeps working! I am about half way to the cloud row and items already. Thank you @12ss12 for posting your idea.

    I have done 21 Mini Games of lovely Viking Goose trying to Throw, My Axes that has best air dynamics. So Far Got 1054 Star Coins

    18 x 50 Star Coins
    2 x 40 Star Coins
    2 x 32 Star Coins

    My Analysis weather to work on Mir85 Tactic with Combination of Points Converted to Star Coins

    3 to 11 Points = 15 Star Coins
    11 to 15 Points = 25 Star Coins
    15 to 18 Points = 32 Star Coins
    18 to 21 Points = 40 Star Coins
    21 to 23 Points = 50 Star Coins

    My Strategy is using Value of Parts of Axe in Terms of LED (Green Dots). From my findings i have worked out the possible Allocations For Each 8 Heads and 10 Magic Runes.

    List of Head Green Dots Value
    • 0.5 LED
    • 1.0 LED
    • 1.5 LED
    • 2.5 LED
    • 3.0 LED
    • 4.0 LED
    • 4.5 LED
    • 5.0 LED
    List of Magic Rune Green Dots Value
    • 0.5 LED
    • 1.0 LED
    • 1.5 LED
    • 2.0 LED
    • 2.5 LED
    • 3.0 LED
    • 3.5 LED
    • 4.0 LED
    • 4.5 LED
    • 5.0 LED
    50 Star Coins

    Head = 5, Hilt = 5 , Magic Rune = 5 (Total LED = 15)
    Head = 4.5, Hilt = 5 , Magic Rune = 4.5 (Total LED = 14.5)
    Head = 5, Hilt = 5, Magic Rune = 4.5 (Total LED = 14.5)
    Head = 5, Hilt = 5, Magic Rune = 4 (Total LED = 14)
    Head = 4, Hilt = 5, Magic Rune = 5 (Total LED = 14)

    40 Star Coins

    Head = 4, Hilt = 5 , Magic Rune = 4.5 (Total LED = 13.5)
    Head = 4.5, Hilt = 5 , Magic Rune = 4 (Total LED = 13.5)
    Head = 4, Hilt = 5, Magic Rune = 4 (Total LED = 13)

    32 Star Coins

    Head = 3.5, Hilt = 5 , Magic Rune = 4 (Total LED = 12.5)
    Head = 4, Hilt = 5 , Magic Rune = 3.5 (Total LED = 12.5)
    Head = 4, Hilt = 5, Magic Rune = 3 (Total LED = 12)
    Head = 3, Hilt = 5, Magic Rune = 4 (Total LED = 12)
    Head = 4, Hilt = 4, Magic Rune = 4 (Total LED = 12) ** HILT = 4 **

    When you play your next Mini Game avoid selecting Heads and Magic Runes had an Value of 4, 4.5 or 5 in previous Mini Game ;)

    Also on my findings From Full Harvest of 1 x 1 I am getting an Average of 75 Drops of Drinking Horns, Which i can Mill 5 Viking Broths only need 1450 Golden Root Per Harvest.

    I am Consuming More Drinking Horns than Reaping Golden Root. So some point i going to Suspend Growing Golden Root and use a Tactic to get the Most Drops in shortest growing time.

    I am aiming to get all Star Coins i Need then be done with Growing Junks xD These Golden Roots takes so long to Grow i am getting bored xD

    But Throwing that Axe is Great Fun :D

    Well, there has been great suggestions. Nothing to add from me, I'm afraid. So I thank you most-heartedly to all those who came with their findings!!:inlove:

    So far, I had 2 harvests. That meant 16 tries on the minigame. Got 735 out of 800 coins. Not bad, I think.
    My first try was the worst! I took a chance, failed miserably and got 25 coins! :mad:

    But after that, got eleven 50 coins and four 40 coins.

    I think on average I'll have around 36 tries to get the cloud row. 36*290 golden root = 10,440 golden root for the cloud row and items (1650 coins).

    I'll be gone for most friday and saturday. I'm hoping to focus on event drops only. Then, I'll plant the crops. Hopefully, I'll catch up!

    Good luck to all!!!

    Thank you to everyone for your advice, input and strategy. :) I LOVE throwing the axes :music:

    The rune is giving me the most problems, finding the right shape to match as 12ss12 said I think is the key.
    I ran a few rounds of 'Instant cotton' yesterday while building up my golden root seeds to get the extra drops. Now just grow, grow, grow.....:wuerg:
    Good luck everyone :)

    I have made about 20 Viking broths
    but I am waiting and watching this thread to find the best way
    to throw the axe. Will someone figure out the secret to success? lol
    I know 12s12 and mooboy are definitely onto something :D
    I will wait till the end and throw all my axes at once.~
    Thanks everyone for the fantastic strategies!!!
    I too wish the event crop didn't take so long to grow-.-:cry:

    8) Well, I don't know what it is...maybe my English roots have viking too...but I just threw a perfect bull's eye...on the very 1st try. Still in s-h-o-c-k!!o_O I don't have any 'strategy', just what feels right. So I'm doubly shocked.

    (So far, 50-40-50-40-50-50)+(50-32..skunked one!)

    My apologies - I don't know how to make these pictures smaller!
    They either are, or they aren't...don't know what makes the difference.
