I am glad you liked the photos. Most of you talked about Living history so I would like to share an interesting fact about Thessaloniki. Last year it was decided to built an underground system of transportation in the city but still it hasn't been built. Two are the reasons for not finishing the project, first, almost everytime they dig they find ancient ruins and they have to stop. The other reason is just because there is not enough money...
Willow I think you should visit Greece one time. It is indeed a great tourist destination whether you want to experience the magic of History or you want to enjoy a beautiful summer. In most of the places you can have both.

Arch of Galerius and Rotonda were built early in the 4th century by Galerius, a Roman Emperor. Rotonda is not a castle. Like I said it was initially a building which was destined for the temple of Zeus but after it was used as a Christian church and a few year as a mosque too.

Wow, solo, wonderful pictures! I too love the dragons, have loved Asian dragons since I was about 12 (eons ago:p). I'm glad you and Mirah had such a wonderful time together, and I'm sure she would be thrilled if you can manage a surprise trip!:inlove:

Ariel, I think I'm jealous;). I always loved history, especially Greek history, when I was in school, made me think seriously about being an archaeologist (then I realized all the math involved and that took care of that:p). So much of world history, science, technology, philosophy, and even art originated or was vastly influenced by Greece, and being able to actually touch some of it, would be amazing! Thank you for the photos!

I feel silly now, I came here to post a cookie recipe, to find all these amazing photos and trips! Oh well, maybe you're hungry after your travels, and would like a nice, easy snack;):pxD.

    Banana Split Cake Mix Cookies

    1 funfetti cake mix
1 3.4 oz. box instant banana pudding
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, roughly chopped

    1. Preheat oven to 350F
    2. In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, pudding mix, oil and eggs. Stir in the chocolate chips. Gently fold in the cherries.
    3. Form the dough into balls just larger than a walnut and place at least 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until set.

I used my mini food processor for the cherries, worked lovely, just drained a jar of cherries, dumped them in, and pushed the button. I found the batter to be a little too sticky to be able to form into balls, so just dropped spoonfuls on my cookie sheets, and they came out beautifully (my oven tends to run a little hot, so I baked them at 325 for 12 minutes). And they're soooo soft and good! Good thing I made a triple batch, or I'm not sure I'd have any left for cookie baskets:oops:xD.

Do, willow, it's simple, and they really are yummy, I'm having a hard time leaving them alone8). I found the recipe on-line and thought it would be a good spring cookie, plus easy to make in quantity (recipe says should make 2-3 dozen, I got over 100 cookies, depends on how big you make them), and am oh so glad I chose them for my Easter baskets:D.

I want to still play Farmerama, but some days I can't even get myself to login. However, most of the times I'm busy giving Mirah all my time. You must consider, I have joined this game back in 2010.

Plus, my job keeps me busy taking some of my time up.

    Hi everyone:inlove:
You can't imagine how much I missed posting in the forum. I have only came here a few times to post my level but I can't keep up with all the updates of the game or yours. I just hope everyone is fine:) I was wondering did the Chinese company buy BigPoint yet?... Back on the main reason I came here to write. A lot of things are going on in my RL now and mainly I have a lot of studying so I can't log in often. Next week is the last week of school, before Easter holidays. After Easter holidays(2 weeks:D:p) we will start the exams and around June we will finish.
Surprisingly tomorrow I will go to Athens with the school:D I found it out on Monday and the trip is tomorrow! We will visit the Parthenon and the museum about it. The first time I went to the Parthenon I was in primary school and now it will be my second time. I will come back on Sunday so I stopped doing the event. I completed at least 3 events in a row and that's a record for me but now I will have a break:p

Have missed seeing you Arielh, but RL does come first. ;)Completing 3 events in a row is good; so you are due a break.

Hope you have a wonderful time on your trip and succeed on your exams!:D

Arielh, it impresses me how you are able to play this game and are still focused on what is really important. In this case your education.
Sometimes it surprises me how much time this game swallows.
Have lots of fun and make good memories on your field trip.

It now has been quite a long time since I have posted in the forums. I try to at least login and pick a few trees each day. I'm so close to leveling up after one year. :p

Anyway, nothing new has happened so far in my life. Mirah and I are trying to wait patiently for the visa to hopefully be approved. We are praying each day that it'll be approved sometime soon. As everyone always says, things happen in God's perfect timing.

Dear solo -there is more happening than you realize. It's often in those moments of patiently waiting that we grow the most. Blessings on a quick approval of the visa!:)

:)Dienstag this game for me and especially the forum it's a nice escape from RL, I think it relaxes me but I always try to stay focused on what I should do. Yesterday my bahamarama crops turned into weeds and I felt kind of proud:wuerg:xD It means I have stoped logging in regularly. I will either use comfort fields or I will stop planting.

As I have promised to some of you here are some photos of my trip to Athens.

Solo glad to hear your news, it sounds encouraging. I hope your visa will be soon approved:)

@Arielh, I had the same problem with my crops turning into weeds. That's why I use tree's or comfort fields now.

Just reached level 91. I think it'll be awhile till level 92. I don't earn much ep because I don't play everyday.
