Great ! I am already liking this Event not only Law of Inheritance but also rules of Refraction & Primary colour combination.

The colour white is a mixture of all other colours, and normal daylight or sunlight is a mixture of all the other colours of light in the same way. Light can be split up into the many different colours of which it is made by passing it through a prism. Remember we studied in our physics ?

LOL --- the real joke is that daddy longlegs are not spiders at all. (and don't believe the old wives' tale that they are poisonous, either_
PS, I worked a couple of fires myself.

prior rumor was it would be owl or bear, but then we did get upgrades in the last wonder pen additions, so that might have been it for them.
I am happy whatever it is....

not strictly true - daddy longlegs refers to several different animals

In the UK it is the cranefly, an insect - but there are also two spiders that go by that name.
Pholcus phalangioides, known as the cellar spider or the skull spider
Confusion often arises over its common name, because "daddy long-legs" is also applied to two other distantly related arthropods: firstly another arachnid from order Opiliones otherwise known as the harvestman, and an insect less ambiguously called the crane fly.
An urban legend states that Pholcidae are the most venomous spiders in the world but that it is nevertheless harmless to humans because its fangs cannot penetrate human skin. Both of these claims have been proven untrue. Recent research has shown that pholcid venom has a relatively weak effect on insects. In the MythBusters episode it was shown that the spider's fangs (0.25 mm) could penetrate human skin (0.1 mm), but that only a very mild burning feeling was felt for a few seconds.

Ahh... I should have clarified, in the US... aka "why scientists use latin names ...."

In the US, daddy long legs is the accepted common name for Opiliones. There is a true spider that looks very similar, also harmless. it is sometimes incorrectly called "daddy long legs". The one you call "crane fly" (its "official" common name) is sometimes also called a "mosquito catcher" here. It (or a very close relative) might be referred to as Daddy long legs elsewhere, though I have never myself heard it referred to as daddy long legs anywhere in the US (and I have lived all over.. not saying its not used, just that its not an accepted name widespread).

And both -- both the "daddy long legs not a spider" and "daddy long legs being harmful is a myth" are classic biology student trivia pieces.

Anyway... nice bits of trivia..... back to farming (lol)

[ see mom "farmerama IS educational!!!!!] ;)

I'm quite curious as to what the frogs product will be too.
Maybe they will make flippers to go with the snorkels the platypus make. Or toadstools or sheet music from the singing they do:music:
    Any ideas anyone? ;)
