I agree with Mir, "best event ever"
I loved the mini game and who knew, I'm really good at throwing axes.
Please, Please let's play it again soon.

 

I too agree with Mir, "best event ever" I got the cloud row and most of the other items.

I love the sticker.

 

Not sure I would call it the best event ever but it is certainly up in the top. Enjoyed making axes after I got a feel for the game. (Was confusing and daunting reading the FAQs especially with the "Hard" rating.) Wasn't as hard as I thought it might be. Still working on the last giver for the CR but got some of the Misc. stuff so that is why I'm still working on it. Nice event but I'm not bothering with the sticker no matter how cute.

 

While reading the FAQ and seeing the 'random factor', the difficulty rating being 'hard', and 8 hour crops, I was not eager to begin this event. However, I have been pleasantly surprised. The event mechanism has, in my opinion, just the right combination to be challenging enough that it isn't too easy, but successful enough to feel happy enough to continue. The drop rate seems good too. Lots of nice prizes in the list and I like that we can shop for what we want. Stickers traditionally have not been very expensive so I was surprised to see this one at 60 (sticker shock).
Thank you for the chocolate syrup recipe. I had much more fun with this event than I have the last few. I traditionally don't like 8 hour crops, but this time it fit just right into my real life's demands. This event gets 2 thumbs and all 4 puppy paws up

 

Only things I don't like in this event is the cloud row giving yet more EP ...I get EP every morning from fuzzy and from the wheel and cloud rows.. so am not that bothered if i don't get the cloud row or givers ...CC's would have been better or even machinery coupons or BB's
And it would have been nicer... if we could have had the machinery for half price

But other then that ...pretty good event with good drops

 

Except for needing toooo many crops, again, I really like this game for all the reasons above!!
But I'd have to give 1st Place to the Monkey Queen....Looooved catching all those GOLDEN BANANAS!! (And everything else, too!!)

 

Well whoever devised and worked hard on this game deserves a pat on the back. The graphics are good and it is fun to play, I have scored a few 32s but also got a couple of bullseyes on the first throw! The prizes are good and I have the cloud row, lots of miscellaneous items and one extra giver item so far. I haven't got the results of the trees or pens won as yet as still growing the event crop. I like the uncomplicated single event crop and eight hours with added water fits in nicely with a full day as this is a very busy time of year for me with the RL mini farm. So, in a nutshell, Very well devised, fun to play and great prizes. Speaking personally, I can never resist another cloud row even though I probably have more than enough! Thank you.

 

Although I really love this event....what happened to the drop rate?? Last couple of days has been truly pathetic for drops...have way too much "junk" crop and not nearly enough drops?????

 

Good game
Was able to get the Cloud Row with all EP Givers, the trees, stables, Party Sprins, Golden Bananas.

So far I am skipping the Pinkie Pie Pies (can be bought in market), Sticker, Stars and Super Grow and opting for the extra EP Givers (they give EP points repeatedly instead of a one time use).

I like that it combined luck and a little skill

It may have been a little better if we had to determine what ax parts to use based on a little story (changes each throw--the goose is in a different situation each time -- sometimes needs strength and other times needs wisdom) since the runes had different meanings.
Maybe not -- I don't know what the age group is for Farmerama players -- young kids might not understand the "logic" to pick the right ax parts -- but then if they could understand the logic to pick the right ax parts the way it is now who knows maybe they could if it were changed?

Anyway just to say, again, nice job with this event (graphics and playability)

 

I liked this event - decent rewards, good drop rate, nice graphics and decent idea behind the game - reminded me a little of the mastermind game I played in the 70's (but much, much simpler). I got all the rewards except for the stars, which I don't need as a high level player.

I was pleased that I got 54% bullseyes (based on 77 tries) - I like to think it was because i was good at the event, but just maybe it was the programmers' generosity

 

I loved this event, definitely in top 3 of all time! Liked the puzzle/logic aspect, the graphics and the prizes for the most part. I hate the magic beanstalk in general, I wish we didn't have that at all, but aside from that I can't really find any fault with this one. Only one event crop is definitely preferred, even if it is a longer one. Really hope this event comes back and that there are more similar to it in the future as well!

great event, really loved the concept and the prizes although the cloud row could have had better rewards.
the chance of getting 32-50 coins was also very good, I only messed up a couple of occasions when I forgot it was my last throw
the drop rate for event crops also was fairly good
Personally I like 8hr crops as it fits in with RL better

 

Very nice event with good prizes and a game mechanism that was challenging, but gave a decent chance of success. Well worth a repeat!

 

Really Liked this Viking Event! The drops were good, the 8hr crop was ok (I like 5hrs myself) because I wanted to get to throw some axes! The prizes that "we" got to chose were great and the game concept was both fun and challenging! I must say that 60 star coins was a little much for the viking sticker but I did get it anyway! Thanks BP and team for another fun event!

 

I don't remember the last time I had so much fun in an event.
I hate planting the same seeds over and over, and I normally finish those events in 2-3 days.
But this one, I did plant until the very last minute.
I got most of the miscellaneous rewards, the CR + 9 Don't drop any and 5 Forging ahead. My parks looks better than ever (siggy)

One suggestion: If at the first try, we get the 5 dotted hilt, it should be pre-selected for the next rounds.

 

Absolutely loved this event prizes were great, drop items were really generous and the 8 hour crop fitted my busy schedule I agree with the above comments regarding Ingrid, it would have been nice to have had her as one of the giver items this is definitely one of the best events (nothing has yet to take the crown from the Carnival Queen) but a BIG thumbs up from me thanks BP for all the hard work and effort involved in making this event

 

My wife and I both loved this event. I can add nothing to what the other Farmers have said as we feel the same way. However, I do feel special kudos should be given to the planners and graphic people who designed a "Sticker" which ultimately had most of the "Sticker haters" wanting! Good for you!

 

I loved this event. I didn't try to hard because of RL. So the 8 hour crop fitted just fine.
Lot's of newer players should have been able to get some nice prizes. I like to be able to choose my rewards. (the first one was the syrup recipe). What I also liked very much was that no matter how bad we might have chosen the axe pieces, it was never less than 32 points and already a bulls eye with 2 of five lights and one of 4 lights, and no hand-eye-co-ordination needed.

Just less of needed event crops would have made it perfect.

 

Obviously this event was enjoyed by many myself included!! When I first read the FAQ I wasn't sure about it but once again, when you start playing it, you're hooked The only problem I had was trying to be patient while I grew more crops and got more drops Thanks BP for the fun event
