Karen, I am guessing you have a digital camera. Many have a selection wheel at the top where you can choose auto, shutter priority, aperture priority, etc. If so, select "auto", which may help balance your photos. Another option is to find ISO on your camera and lower the settings to let less light in. Hope that helps.

 

OMG! I went away for 6 days and missed the 3 babies. They are so cute. I'm so happy they are all doing so well. Good job! They have such different markings. Does their color change with age? Congratulations.

 

It's got loads of crazy settings on it but each time hubby fiddles with it it gets worse even though he's set it on Auto and ISO auto. But I have a professional photographer wanting to take photos of them next week so as payment he can set my camera back to how it used to be when it worked!!!
Thought I'd share a short video of Freya today - she was running amuck. Prior to this she had done 2 laps round the paddock. I think she's off my panic list but her poor mother is turning grey!

 

Camera might need cleaning and/or servicing. Maybe the light sensor is dirty and it thinks it is dark out? Opens up to let in more light?

What a delight to see Freya running with such glee around her worried Momma. I'm so glad that she is out of danger now.

It is just wonderful to see little Freya running as fast as her little legs will take her! that Ana is just moving her head around to see where she is..too cute! Thanks for the video!

 

Caviar... you might be onto something there. It rattles round in my pocket and I don't always put it to sleep just in case there is a good quick shot needed and you really don't want to see inside my jacket pockets... they are a dark hole of detritus!

BC's suggestion on cleaning is very good - forgot about that! That pro will undoubtedly give you good advice after looking your camera over; hope it's not a major problem.

 

Three Birthdays to announce today... Thor 3 weeks, Lexi 2 and baby Freya will be one week this afternoon.

And an even bigger Birthday to announce tomorrow for those of you with longer memories!

I've had a go at cleaning the light censor on camera and it seems a lot better - thank you. So took a Baby Birthday video too.

Cassi all the adults are looking pretty "scabby" now with the moult.
The first "scabby" adult you see, by raised trough is Twiglet but the Grumpy mummy is Ana, as her calf is the youngest, she is the most protective. At the end of video it seems as if she is chasing her baby Freya but she isn't, she had had a grump with one of the boys and his mother got upset and chased Freya... Ana was just trying to keep up with Freya... I need 1/2 dozen people videoing to show the whole story!!!
