More land = more clicks for those of us hand harvesting. -.-:(
More land = higher donation levels for event stuff. :wuerg:-.-

No, not interested in more land. (After all, the earth has only so much space.)

More land doesn't mean one is able to progress any faster in this game. Patience and determination are the skills requiered. Addiction is the key. Enough said.

Have just seen more details about the redesign of the FSQs. I'm happy to see a separate category for Moonlight Mania quests! :)

For those that think more land is unnecessary, you don't have to farm it should it ever be implemented.

Additional fields don't even have to be for farm land. It can be a space just for trees. Would be nice to have a separate field to production pens.

Thanks for the FSQ update, I've already mentioned some of the changes I like :) One thing I don't like is which step is displayed when you choose a quest and when you move between the tasks. When you click a quest it now openes the highest unlocked step, while before it would open the highest non-completed step. And when you switch between the tasks it doesn't change between silver, gold and diamond (according to ones progress) like it used to.

Example to make clear what I mean: A quest with 3 tasks, I have completed 1 silver & gold, 2 silver, 3 silver, gold and diamond. I'd like to check the next steps I can do, i.e. 1 diamond and 2 gold.

In the old FS I would click the quest, it would open at 2 gold, I'd switch to task 1 and see 1 diamond.

In the new setup it opens at 3 diamond which I have already completed. So I switch to task 2. But now it shows 2 diamond, which is locked. So I have to manually choose the gold step. Next I want to check 1 diamond, but when I switch to task 1 it shows 1 gold, which I have completed, so I need to change to diamond.

    That's three extra clicks :(

I'd find it convenient if the buttons to switch between tasks were a bit bigger, there's lots of space where they are placed now :)

As pertains to the changes to the FSQ system, on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a negative 3. Again little more than change made for the sake of change, as it does not improve the system at all.

    Negatives are:

As noted by a previous poster, additional clicks now required to work through the quests.
Screen is unnecessarily busy looking without adding any additional useful content.
Reduced letter size/visibility is a major drawback for players with vision issues.

I stopped visiting the forum do to the pointless changes made to the forum, and now wish I would not have to visit the FSQ for the same reason. Sigh. BP, please stop tinkering with things that are not broken.

I agree with memontee. Although, I don't know that I would rate it as high as he/she did.

    Harder to see.
    Much more clicking.
Doesn't open on the correct step of the quest.

I know it will never happen, but I wish they would go back to the previous version.

Developers should put their time and effort into things that actually improve the game, not make it worse.

Too many more clicks. This FSQ is not an improvement. The screen is too full, it's hard for low vision people to read.

On the Good side: I like the left side of the screen. It is easier to scroll through the quests and see in a glance how far along you are, what needs started and what kind of quest it is.
On the Bad and Ugly side: Here is where it turns to a pile of steaming stuff. It is harder to read and I can't view all three steps at once. I don't do all the silver, then all the Gold, etc. I pick and chose and this new design doesn't work with my style.
I am not sure why we needed a redesign, wasn't that already done awhile ago (am I having a senior moment?).
Change is good when needed/called for. I am not sure I ordered this poo platter.

I agree that it is all too 'fussy'. AuntMoe, you are not having a 'senior moment', it was all redesigned a couple of years ago, so why alter it yet again? I can only presume many many players asked for it although I don't really think so! :p Too much clicking, too small and sometimes my mouse does not behave itself - my hand shakes a bit and I find it a job to centre on stuff. I will have to to this when my hand is behaving. :(

I lke the introduction of new categories, MM in special. But indeed, overall this new version seems a lot worse when it comes down to handle quests in an efficient, user friendly way.
I now hope for another quick fix improvement otherwise I guess I'll stay out of the FSQ. I feel for the new players.

I like that you can select favourites and the introduction of all the different categories. As for the rest - I'm indifferent with the exception of my irritation with the extra clicking. Makes me wonder if people designing things actually play the game to see how it functions.

Spot on TCRooster! Any functional analyst and/or professional tester would've rejected this "upgrade" prior to implementation. 'nuf said.

Sure there are a few things that can be improved - there usually are when something new is introduced, but all in all I find it an improvement on the previous version :)

I pointed out that some things require more clicks now, but I am not even sure that was intentional and I hope it will be fixed. Several other things require fewer clicks now. With the longer list of quests, ad the favorites category you need fewer clicks to find the quests you want (at least if you have a few you work on simultaneously). The "deliver all" button saves a lot of clicks. Before you had to click deliver, choose what you wanted to deliver, confirm the amount, then repeat for each thing. Now it is all done with one click! An after you finish a step you are automatically taken to the next one, another click saved.

I have to admit I also found the window a bit crowded and hard to navigate, but I think that is mostly because it is unfamiliar. I am sure I'll get used to it soon enough.

I really wish the + button would take me to the market and not the shop - I don;t want to buy a gingko tree, I just want to buy the fruit. The favourites is great - means I can just look at the quests I want instead of continual scrolling and I can set them for the MM quest I'm doing. I'd rather it told me how many I had to deliver too, but that's because I'm lazy and don't want to figure it out for myself.:p

I do not like the new farm quest layout. its seems much more complicated and harder to find a part of the quest that needs to be finished.

The left side is ok to use, but the right side is not better at all. It's hard to read and confusing.

I really like the revamped FSQ system. It's easier to see how much is left to finish in each quest and I love the "deliver all" option - what a timesaver.

I don't particularly like it either. I often start with silver then go to the 2nd one (depending one how much you need) before I go back to gold. Especially with ones like Castles in the Sand and Garden Expo. There are so many things needed for those you are going back and forth until you can actually finish them. The barn is confusing. And Mir, you may like the 'Deliver all' button but it is a feature that I would suggest people use with caution. Especially in quests with crops. Otherwise there will be a lot more posts about blunders and a lot of people starting from scratch with crops.
