Yes thanks all for the feedback, strategy and number crunching...not sure if I want to do this one

 

No drops need. that mean no need to have those preparation.
Only need to remember keep your main farm all field blank at 14:00 CET

no mill product, OK, farmers could keep their mill schedule.
Finally, many type of pea to plant, A really new experience!
11 type
7 type you need to get seed from quest
Luckly is that the qty drop down to 450 per type.
The prize is quite attractive, wonder stabke & tree.
I don't like the crop dispenser, Hope that I will not need to used them more than once!
As CAC use best on 1x1 but one field will get more than required.
I will need to think should I need to keep 1 field in 2x2 for event crop planting.....

Edit: I misread 12ss12 qty requirement,not all pea need 450, starter 4 need 400
next 4 tyoe need 450 last 3 tyoe need more, pls refer to 1st post to get the qty!

I think I have brain freeze plus I shall use the excuse it's late (1am in UK), as after reading the main instructions then other people's, I am still left thinking... huh???

 

This even is sooooo confusing. I have read and reread and cannot find out how we get the small pea needed to do level 3. There is no color attached to this pea but NO dispenser and not a Basic Crop. Can someone tell me where we get the starter seeds?

 

The small pea seeds are part of the 10 seeds we get at event start along with the green pea, big pea and red pea.

 

I'm with WeeOneToo, the pictures have an error, which confused me too. No need to worry, whatever they call them , we will get 40 seeds to start, 10 of each basic pea.

Thanks for Great Info for Mendel Event as I shall be away on Holiday for the next 5 days. I Shall See if i can able to complete this Event. As it very likely to be done at very last Minutes Depending if I get a Good Signal doing this Event using my Smart Phone. As RL will prevent me to engage into this Event.

Not to Mention doing MM Event too to work on New MM Quest as well as Mendel Quest.

Here is Some of My Pointers

• Need to Grow Enough Peas to be able to do both Silver/Gold (Level 1 to 7)
• Best Tactic is Do both Silver/Gold of Each Level to Obtain 3 New Pea Seeding
• Each New Pea Seeding Takes 6 Hours to grow, There is no need to Nuke Them Overnight
• Used Super Grow on New Peas when you are able to Harvest them when ready
• There is no Point getting any Pea Dispensers Focus on Silver and Gold Levels 1 - 7
• If you are Happy to use Super Grow and Suzy Super Grow, Using Pea Dispensers, Effective with Super Grow Buffs, But you need to Grow More Peas to Get these Dispensers !!
• Once Got All Pea Seedings Then do All of Level 8
• Goto Back do Diamond Levels 1 to 7

what great timing to introduce the revamp of FSQs, probably the most confusing FS based event ever and we also have to find our way round a new interface
As I normally grow way too many junks, even when the requirement is straightforward, god know what will happen to my barn on this one!

 

Thanks Dnin for confirming what I have searched high and low for (call me Justine Case) ... no drops! Wahoo! So, why when I got up this morning, did I still think I had to leave the farm alone until the event started lol!

Working weekend for me so I am really happy that the requirements are pretty reasonable (unless my total requirement calculation - 8,550 is wrong). I can do three harvests tomorrow and Sunday, should have all crops done by Monday. I will take this one very carefully as I am prone to do anything when it is complicated, as this one is.

Thanks to all that are contributing to crack this somehow strange but refreshing mechanism!

In my opinion, and if it's really ten seeds for each basic crop, I will follow this strategy (CAC is required):
1 round of ten 2x2 plot for each basic pea sprinkled with SSG: 90 seeds in return. I'll keep 13 and plant 77.
1 round of seventy-seven 1x2 plot (no SSG): 385 seeds. With 13 seeds already in barn that makes 398 total. But by the time I have all this ready, I should have 5 seeds replenished from the system: 403 seeds total for each pea.
That should be enough for the basic 4 crops. Unless I'm seeing this wrong...

EDIT: ... and also for the next four crops on level 5 and 6. (paying attention to the number of crops required)
Three days should be enough enough for rounds 1 to 6, using this strategy.
I don't think SG or even SSG is mandatory. It could take one or more rounds for crop but no biggie.
However, to get the exact amount of crops done before donating, we can't work on the next set of crops...

I'm rethinking my strategy.
2 possible ways to do this (again CAC is required):
1st strategy
1st round (2x2 plot): 10 seeds planted = 70 seeds in return
2nd round (2x2 plot): 55 seeds planted = 385 seeds in return + 15 seeds not planted = 400

2nd round is only possible to complete two crops. You have to repeat the second round process for the other two basic crops.

2nd strategy
1st round (2x2 plot): 10 seeds planted = 70 seeds in return
2nd round (1x2 plot): 70 planted = 350 seeds in return + 5 seeds replenished while you're waiting.
3rd round (1x1 plot): 15 planted = 60 in return. Total exactly 400

In the second round, we can have three crops out of four working.
In the third round, we have space enough to work on the 4th crop and still starting to work two of the batch of crops of levels 5 and 6.

Whatever strategy I'll take, I'm saving SG and SSG and have plenty of time to do the whole event.

thought out my strategy
planted all the seeds in 2x2s and nuked them, so in just over 1.5 hrs will have 90 of each.
going to donate the silver stages to get the first of the next seed and nuke them
will put the remaining seeds back in 2x2s with SG and whatever 1x1s are left
haven't worked out the Nos yet but think it best to try and get to the yellow seeds ASAP

Pea dispenser gives you the next 7 set of seeds.
They give you 3 seeds every 2 hours.
If the seeds fall below 5, the will not be any automatic replenishment of these 7 sets of seeds. Instead you can get 3 seeds every 2 hours from the dispenser.
There is a separate seed dispenser for each set of 7 seeds.
You get the Pea dispenser as reward from the event quest.

I abandoned that strategy but the reason was that it was enough to get 400 crops total without planting all seeds. Hope this helps.
