The Perfect Pea – Strategy Thread

Is it my imagination or are the 'rewards' for these quests getting worse each time?? The reward totals for completing the whole event are as follows:
56,660 CCs
150,980 EP
10 SG
6 SSG
15 PF
6 TM
12 x Wonder Stables
12 x Wonder Trees
6 x 1hr Harvest Helper Coupons
3 x EP Givers
1 x Cloud Row

On top of that we have a load of seeds and dispensers that are only of use for this 1 event!!

No toolboxes, No stars, No party tickets and very minimal amounts of everything else!!

The last medium difficulty quest we had was around the world, also a 6 hour growing crop, but, we did have to mill items for it. The rewards for that though were MASSIVELY HIGHER . Here they are

I had already used 40 SG and 40 SSG before I realised how little this event was giving back, I will be sitting the rest of the event out and will be paying more attention to the 'rewards' for future quests.

 

Anyone able to find Pea Dispensers after getting Diamond? Where is it? The instructions says it can be placed on mai lands but can't find in inventory anywhere.

It was on with my decorations but needed restart game to get it.

 

Sometimes it takes a while for the light to come on. Once it does this event becomes a whole lot easier lol. For some reason my mind would not compute the fact that the dispensers would continually make seeds every 2 hours.
Thanks everyone who crunched numbers but think I am going for the dispensers just to make my life easier and not require as much thinking lol. Happy farming and good luck to all.

 

I've got 8 different types of pea growing, all ready at different times now. So I've completely lost track of how many of each I need left to plant

 

What happens if you delete the dispenser???

It goes back to your inventory. After the event it stays as a decorative item.
That was what it said. But now it has been edited and is posted for further clarification . But in other forums its said it will be retained as a decorative.

 

I think I'm going to do the 400 of each of the first 4 peas we got then go from there and do 2 or 3 at a time and get the total amt I need of each that way I don't get confused on how many more of each pea I need I don't want to get confused like jools did and I know if I just start planting I will be very confused lol

 

Finished the first 4 levels in full.

 

Think i will do the silvers and only get the things i would like.. BUT with the new FS this might not be possible to do ?...wont know until i start to use it

I wouldn't know elimeno ...my strategy got into a muddle and went out the window
NOW I am spending a lot of time in the scream room

i just collect as much as possible today and tonight i see what is in my best interrest
depends how much i have tonight
but it might be handy to get the dispecensers as soon as possible you get +1

No great strategy for me. Do all the first 4 levels in full as its easy and get the set of seeds from them. Also try getting the yellow seed as soon as possible. Grow...Grow...& Grow... till you succeed in getting all the yellow crops. As of now I have got small & big yellow - 3 & 1 - I think. Planted them. Going to sleep. See you all tomorrow. Good Night/Good Day.

The only thinking I try to do is do not over grow crops. But it gives such a pain in my head. I overgrew the first set of 4 crops. But not too much. Stopped in the nick of the time.

 

Another grow and throw event for the broke farm. Only this time lots of types of junks. No super grow used and 2x2s to begin with no hurry hurry. CAC is activated for use with MM also. BAHA has been converted to 1x1s in order to try and break-even on CAC use.

Only the farm named "noobbie" will participate.

Nothing seems very great or very bad about the event. Best of luck to all.

Have been doing soup and n friends in FS and with the new FS they have changed the last level ...which was a pink donkey stable and a pink cookware forge...now the reward is 800 SG ...60PF... 1.800.000 EP ....3 stars ....60.000 TEP

Nah .. I checked and the Golden Donkey still rewards Pink Donkey and Pink Cookware Forge, 4.4m EP, 1.3m TEP and 3 stars.

Growing 1 pea at a time here so I can keep tabs on numbers, working very well in that I haven't overgrown by too many yet. My inner geek is driving this one - I MUST complete it..... for Mendel!
