Upgrade neighbor gifts

I think it would be a good idea to update the gifts we give to neighbors. I know, for me at least, that since 2012 they have been the same. I think they are good to give to the lower players who are still establishing themselves but there really isn't anything great to give to a higher level player. For ex my neighbor level 99 I know doesn't need toolboxes, sugar or salt because like me she probably gets those as regular drops.

About everything else has been updated except this...food for thought

 

Great idea elimeno! I would love to see more variety available for higher level players as well. Most of my neighbours ARE higher level players. When I can, I send pantry items to those neighbours....would be awesome if we could send them a first level breeding animal or even some PF...or perhaps a G&T "gift" licence (once a month gifting).....oh the possibilities

I agree - very good idea.

 

You made a very good point. I was thinking too that the available gifts at the moment are quite "poor".
If the quantity is so limited, then the quality should be better.
Gifting things that I know to be almost useless becomes boring in the end.
Instead I really wish I had something better to send to my neighbors. And get some good gifts too, of course

It is a nice thought, but what gifts would be appropriate? Anything for higher level players would likely be too big a bonus for lower level players.

Maybe if there was an option to "supergive" to higher level players, maybe available weekly instead of daily, that would work?

Regardless, I think coming up with specific ideas might help. get this idea through, but I have no idea what they might be.

 

I agree that we need gifts for higher level players. The assortment at this time is geared more for the newer players which is still needed. Another tab could be easily added for higher level gifts. These gifts, because of the higher value, could be allowed to be given out every 2 or 3 days.
In addition, I wish we could give to our neighbors trees, etc without having to go thru the 'trading & selling' event. We have already spent money in some form already and yet we have to pay again to trade or gift.

 

I agree that they need a shake up - as long as they don't get rid of pheromones (always useful regardless of level since if you don't use them you can accumulate and sell) or think we need more giver items. I need to have a think on what they could add in....

 

Instead of "random" 10 tools (once I got 10 nails ), how about 1 wood board?
