Don't We Miss the Old Market

Does anyone still remember there was a time when everything sold in the market was too cheap. Like strawberry used to be sold at 0.13 cc but now its at 60 cc. And chicken was sold at 8 cc and now its fetching 350 cc. The old days...

I think the one that really takes the spotlight is manure which is currently being offered at 500 cc each. I bet no one would believe me when I tell you all that it was once worth only 0.01 cc then. And doesn't it bother anyone that the price of manure is selling higher than eggs. Just something that always fascinate me.

 

Ah yes, how inflation has hit farmerama! I used to be able to get chickens for 18cc and wheat for 1.5cc, now going for 400cc and 12cc respectively!

 

I remember when I first started thinking 5,000 cc's was ALOT for a White cow Bring on that price again. Sometimes I feel like the real world inflation has hit Farmerama but harder is some areas

 

Strangely enough, after posting this the price of manure in my market has dropped from 500 cc to 200 cc.
I agree some of the prices of animal breeding is insane. I just sold a pygmy goat that I won in the farm wheel for 100k cc

 

When I first started playing, I rarely bought anything at the market, because I thought prices were too high. What I'd give for those same prices now, lol. I remember stocking up on tree fruits to work on my trophy with, when cherries were usually less than 19 CC, and buying every apple under 29 CC I could find. Sure glad I did, apples are rarely under 65-70 now, and cherries are even higher.

(I imagine the drop in poo prices is because the event is coming to an end. Very volatile market, poo is.)

 

FarmerDelight - Thanks for starting this thread! I was just thinking the same thing for the past few days. Strawberries are at a ridiculously high price of 156-166 cc's on market 10. Plums and pears........that I never put trees out..... are 145 &94 respectively. EEEk I feel like I'm complaining like my grandparent's used to... how prices have skyrocketed.
