Nellie, i had the same problem. Drops from White buds, don't count on it. But when my Black buds gave no drops (i try harvest some in a field manually 1st to see), i logged out then logged back in (not just refresh), n continue the harvest, drops better.

Also, after i plant long crops on 1x1 plot for overnight, when i harvest the next morning i notice :
one field of spelt with tools refinery active, gave only 27 rubber band balls and 14 saws.
other field with raspberry without any active refinery, gave 39 balls.

So i guess the active tools refinery gives negative effects on event drops.. may be..

Thanks for telling me about comfort fields. I can't use them yet. I will have to wait until I level up some more.

 

Seems like the SOS thread is going to play a vital role in helping farmers complete this event. The biggest factor holding everyone back is drops. This is the worst I've seen in a while. Hopefully they will increase the drop rate soon. This is pretty ridiculous. I'm not turning any Rubber Ball gifts down.

 

Not doing too bad on drops here (touch wood), but my rainforest is precisely that and using comfort fields whilst I was at work really helped. Just put my frogs away whilst I'm milling food (all those egg trees now have a purpose!).
I have opened a new farm to help gift the SOS thread (TCbaby), it is sending out rubber band balls and it's already playing in the poop market!

 

Farm Emergency Update

The FOCD farmers have now cut into the farm drainage lines.

Bands of FOCD farmers are standing by the chicken coops. Some are chanting: We don't want the chickens we want the poop!

 

Too bad the drops are so low as this is actually another fun game to play. I'm down to 48 rubber band balls Going through the crops too I have 133 coins and I already purchased the baha stables Really doubt I will go for the older CR or it's givers. For now I am just going to collect the coins and shop at a later date. farmer-broke, so that explains all the ruckus I've been hearing!! Save The Chickens!!!!

Oh hogwash....we were suppose to keep those rubber balls? I have been having fun bouncing them all over the farm...Watching my kitties and puppies and tigers chase them round and round the 007Farm. It has been sooooooo much fun......while waiting for those slow growing crops to produce....the rubber balls come in such minute amounts...who would have thunk we were suppose to keep them???

 

I love the posts...u guys are very funny...I too had a divorce one my virtual farm. I was able to keep the arches but when i went to move them, poof, they were gone and no matter how much I argued, with BP, they wouldn't give them back
I have decided I will play a few more rounds than I am done and putting my farm back. I still have out over 40 frog pens

 

Have 400 balls, but not enough crops to play with them, but I'm only growing on 2 fields, all the rest is dedicated to frogs, ostriches and fish (soup n friends will be finished at some point!).

 

Big farm has the cloud row activated (not going to bother with the old one), will now go for some of the miscellaneous and possibly the world cup balloon. Baby farm is rolling in poop and ccs!

 

I just need to vent...played the football and against my better judgement got the pens...I am so tired of getting crap pens...thank goodness I didnt spend RL money bc i would be much more upset. I am done and returning my farm back to the way it was...

 

Just a reminder:
Because this is one event that will require a lot of event drops but also event crops, you may want to try any crop with SG Love insta-finish to get the last drops. So, if your refinement slots are already filled, DON'T FORGET to leave a few slots available for such situation.
I did forgot in the last event! And before I realized I didn't have 24 hours to wait for it become available...

What did you get? The pens are probably one of the best rewards from this event.

 

I guess I am a little grouchy because I keep hoping for better ones than I have...and get disappointed...its like getting a chicken coop.

I know a few people got some pinks. I got a yellow camel, yellow panda, parrots. I will have plenty to gift at G&T

 

I'm always looking for Classic Parrot II's. =) I haven't been active the last few G&T's due to academic needs. I have a bit more time now that I'm done with the semester, so I'm trying to prepare for the next G&T as best as I can.

As far as the soccer event is concerned I have plenty of event crops grown and have switched over to a different crop in the hope that I can get more drops...

The drop rate for this event is beyond disappointing.
