I have the new CR up and running on this farm. Now just working with some refined crops trying to get more drops. I would like to pick off a lot of the misc goodies.

Baby farm has picked through some of the goodies...GB's, PF, stables, trees. Really need to work on refinements over there.
Loving the ball game and trying to pick up as many goodies as I can. Good luck everyone

 

No worries, just send your animals out to "fetch". Half the fun for them is bringing the toys back for a nice petting session You should have all your balls back in short order.

 

Oh @farmer_broke you would be so proud of baby me. I listened to your advice and kept it all in my head so when I was born and had 100 manure I took it all and sold it on the market for a silly price. I have got a whole field of chickens pooping away 750cc manure. I am a rich baby farm now.

 

I'm enjoying the mini game. I'm not stressing over this event. I left all my Pink/Neons out and my trees around the edges. I kept a few of my Baha animals out. I didn't use 1x1s. Just 2x2s which I've been able to use my own manure on when I wanted (black buds during the day). I've gotten the PF, stables, trees and Party spins. Aiming to get the Harvester coupon and then go back to prepping for frog breeding. I don't seem to have a problem with drops as I currently have almost 300 waiting for my crops to use with them. The CRs looked like too much effort for the return benefit so I'm passing on them. If I end up with extra star coins, I might get a deco item but I don't think that will happen. Will NOT get the sticker no matter how many coins I have left. It's a matter of principle.

 

Like most of us I was struggling to get drops - way too many crops and hardly any Rubber Balls

Did 12 rounds á 44 fields of instant Cotton (in CF and with CR, White Innocent + Fruit Cake activated) which yielded 528 Rubber Balls = 100% success rate! Every single field gave a drop when harvesting

All for the princely sum of 528 SG.

Just a thought if anyone is struggling.

I got a Dogwood tree from my trees ...now i can cross it off my list of to get .... the last trees we got ... I got a mangosteen ...

usually I get doubles and triples of what i already have...which i don't mind as they are good for stocking up
And i didn't get ep today from fuzzy ...today i got a tool box was good to get something different

 

hatzeva, which Cr did you use?

 

mingling, hatzeva is referring to the Harvest 2014 Magic Stalk row aka Chestnut CR. It was very hard to win all the givers for the row. Many have the CR and the first giver, the Chestnut deer but didn't get any further. It gives a 5% bonus to your Super Grow for 6 hours. (The event required a large amount of EV in Breeding animals.)

 

Thank-you Noelle20001, I get tripped up with hope on that Cr, I am always hopeful for a CR/buff hint down on my level.

 

Here's hoping that someday they'll add that CR to the retro rows sale so that some of us newer players can obtain it...

 

I hold as much hope for that to happen as our chance to ever see a magic tree.
I think it's good in a way.... I would place bats all around them giant horses and watch them all the time, my farm barn would grow weeds as I would be watching them too much

now, let see how much star coin I got at end to determine what to buy.

 

This is not difficult except for the number of star coins needed, if one wants everything.

When I decided to lower the amount of prizes to go for, it suddenly became very relaxing and nice to do.

I am enjoying the mini games, had some mishaps the first couple of times playing it, like missing the obvious 3 star etc.
But, now nailing it pretty much every time.

 

I find that having your country cropper award and farming award active in your farm greatly increase the drop rate. I haven't tried shifting both of them from farm to farm while harvesting though. (seems like a lot of trouble)

 

Lots of gratitude for the strategy threads. I am learning so much and having a great time with my farm. I will be able to get a few nice things for my farm that will help it grow.

 

FarmerDelight, If you are referring to the trophies that increase your drop rate, it is most advisable to move them from field to field. Otherwise you aren't benefiting from the full effects. Before I had mine in the Living Legend rune I would harvest the field they were on, then move them to the next field, go back and plant the field I just removed them from. This way the game has a few minutes to recognize the trophies have been moved to a new field. Repeat until you have harvested all fields. I know it's a pain but your drops will increase by doing this.

I had to grow some more junks this morning bc obviously soccer is not my sport All those balls wasted on 3 coins Not once, but several times Maybe I should start going for the easier shots to guarantee I get more than 3 coins But there is still time, I will NOT give up

 

julie1013 I know but it seems too troublesome having to move them and wait for a couple of minutes before harvesting the crops. Plus you're sacrificing 2 slots per farm (which can be used to plant trees) just to have the space. So far i have adequate drops to sustain.

Really? I thought the mini game is pretty simple. I played like 9 times already (8 times had 9 coins and 1 time scored 8 coins). So far so good. I've already bought the wonder stables and trees. Just a few games short of buying party ticket.

Also I'm thinking if I should get golden banana or silver stars next. Which one is easier to earn ?

 

You don't have to sacrifice anything. You can just harvest 2 plots, delete them and place the trophies and then refresh the game.
Yes, it is a lot of trouble compared to having the living legend rune but if you need more drops then this is what you can simply do to improve them.


I am done playing ball. Got the CR and some nice goodies - I chose pf, GB, party tickets, harvester, stables and trees. From the stables I got orange panda, tiger, flamingo, anaconda ++ and sloth ++. I am more than satisfied

Well I got all the prizes I wanted from the soccer game except the bananas and I am working on that. I didnt get the trees or the sticker. If I have time I will go for the CR...but like so many have mentioned, I have 68 of them...and the reward from the CR is not so great.
