Thanks, she is such a sweet gentle girl. She's really great with kids and a trained barrel horse.
He is only 6 but has been riding since he was 3. His mother has been taking him to rodeos since he was first born. This just gives me an excuse to have him spend more time with me at the farmhouse.
Edit: She's around 14 hands, a little short.

Lady is a very lovely animal; and to have a sweet nature is a blessing. What fun your grandson will have!

 

Since she is 14 hands and he is just 6 years old, they have many years ahead together and you will have helped shape a wonderful childhood filled with precious memories.

 

Thanks everyone, She is turning out to be real special horse. I also have a 2 1/2 year old special needs grandson that I put on her and she just stood very still not moving an inch.
Pnp, that's just what I was hoping for, someone for him to grow with and have that bond with.

Oh yes, he has been around horses since he was born. He's a great little rider, rides mostly western but is taking english lessons now. He tries to groom her and helps with feeding. My special needs grandson is in a wheelchair so we pretty much have just held him up on her...but the smile says it all.

 

Well JJenks, aren't you the best grandmother ever! Lady is such a beautiful horse, and how wonderful your grandsons can both love and enjoy her! That is awesome!

I love horses also. Isn't it amazing how animals just know when there is a special needs child around. They just know what to do. I hope both children have very happy memories .

There is one manatee that use to come visit in Maryland in the Chesapeake Bay every year that they name it Manny.

 

that's the closest ive ever been to one I think they are sooo awesome my brother said he swam with one one time I don't know cause it was before I moved down here lol that would be neat though
