• Level 6 (90,000 cc) = 1 Zebra Frog, 1 Flying Frog, 1 Dart Frog

Actually, grasshoppers have a bad name here in the US. I had a chance (admittedly I was rather "duped" the first time) to try some when I was in college. They actually are not bad at all. We Americans are rather biased against any kind of "bug", but then.. my grandmother could remember when Maine lobsters were considered "poor people" food. Crawfish are still not that popular "up north" and out west. I can tell you that carp were introduced to the US because the local trout and salmon were considered "inferior". Anyway... something to think about. [end of lesson]

On to farming.... good luck with the frogs, and your garden! My folks are visiting, so I am not sure I will have time to play this event. (then again, I often say that and still wind up participating... )

 

Happy to report I have sold ALL of my frogs. The last 1200-1400 going for 22k+

 

Where are folks seeing mention of the baby boom? I cannot find it under either events, announcements or elsewhere.

 

Just a reminder. The reason my strategy is written with no skips is due to the fact that breeding only to dart frog is by far the cheapest way both in number of frogs needed to breed and amount of powerfeed. Depending on the quantity and quality of skips, they too can be donated or even sold to pay for the initial cost of frogs. This allows players to leave the event having completed the requirements of obtaining the CR and all the additional PF from the event and potentially come out ahead in CC as well while minimizing the loss of PF.

Minimizing PF loss is crucial to anyone not buying BB's or PF packages as it allows for players to complete future breeding events. Next up should be the Neon breeding event so saving PF is important.

This was listed on the first page, third post down. It's a cheaper way (animals and feed) to complete the first 7 steps.

Without Baby Boom and accounting for zero skips it will take 594 Frogs and 147 Breeds (294 PF). Without breeding at all it will take 884 Frogs. After rewards the total cost is 874 Frogs. If you decide to breed it will take 584 Frogs or and 219 PF. Again, this is just pure numbers and does not take into account any skips or baby boom twins while breeding.

 

Thank you Decree. I have put 50 Breeds and waiting for BBD to harvest. I think I will pass through seven levels. Now I have to figure a way out to do the rest in the least possible way.

 

Yeah, I'm still on the fence. I've already made a ton of CC off this event, so I'm trying to figure out if the extra stars and EP are worth it. As far as the other rewards, I'm not too impressed with what is there, given the cost to obtain them.

I plan on doing the first 8 steps, but there's still an extra 23 or so more stars after that.

I have made 115M ccs on this event so far. So many chasing stars for the menagerie and probably pf too doing quests. I have sold many many animals and various products. And just 25 minutes ago I sold the rest of my frogs at the nice sum of 21790.98 each. I sold around 1950 in like 3 minutes and mkt is still cleared of frogs!

So what am I to do now? No frogs to breed

Guess I am gonna do like Mooboy - snatch them up...if only rl permits and play like lettuce.

Is it time yet??? Is it time yet??? Is it time yet???? Another hour and 1/2 to go, too early to mow lawn, can't seem to stop staring at the love shack. Sold 4 lots of 25 frogs for over 23K per, they were gone as soon as I listed them. Holding off to make sure I have enough to finish breeding, then will sell anything left. On the other hand, I can always grow more between now and Sunday...

 

I have sold some too (they sold as fast as I could list them) but will keep some for breeding and ladders.

 

It's terrible being torn between FOCD need to finish breeding event as quickly as possible, and CCOCD need to make as much CC as possible. Especially when prices just keep going up and up...if they reach 30,000 I'll sell another 100 and take the slow road to the CR.
