Done with the first 7 steps, now selling frogs and dart frogs to increase cc balance. And I found a use for my 51 egg trees too!

 

Skips ...what are these things called skips ?
the skips are non existent in my game ...am basically getting the frog next to the one i put in ....So nothing new and knew already that would happen...tizz why i don't like baby boomer and don't generally do it

Have only got the frogs as far as the the zebra frog since the start ... I have more then 18 basic frogs back ... which farmerama probably classes as twins LOL...what a waste of PF
Am up to level 7 ...don't know whether i will carry on to do the other levels ...from what i am getting ...it's probably not worth it

 

Can we still get egg trees from wonder tree?

Egg trees are no longer included in wonder trees. There is a cuckoo breeding quest that awards one but otherwise, you will need to try to get one at Gift and Trade.

 

Thanks puppies. Geez I do wish I have an egg tree. It seems unfair we have to wait for 24 hours and make chicken feeds and chickens to get one egg while the lucky ones can simply harvest 2 eggs every 20 hours.

 

We can only hope that since BP has brought back some of the older rare wonder trees in the Pick a Tree Spree, that maybe they will in the future include product trees too or perhaps put them in an event or quest.

I do have one frog that was unable to be paired up for the breeding house just sitting in my barn!! I think I will sell him and collect some more eggs.
Even though I won some PF through the farmers society quests, I only have 133 on stock. Not enough to get very far with this event, but enough to see what its all about!!
Maybe I will use a few to produce some quick frogs for profit (needs money it badly), and use the rest for experimenting with the breeding. So much to learn, so little time through the day LOL!!

And also think it is mean without the base animal...nothing is ever straight forward in Farmerama ...there is always a missing piece to the puzzle ...the piece that makes it work... so we use up more of our resourses

 

The 6 yellow ladder factories probably came from level 6 of the event, if you've gotten that far, Nellie. Seems kind of stingy to give us 6 yellows, but only 1 regular base to put them on. Guess we just have to build the rest.

Wowwee! 36,000 cc for a frog on the big farm, 24,500 cc on the smaller farm! First time I have been able to sell during the height of the pricing insanity. I am surprised on how many are working on the quest on the first day, but that is the nice thing about this forum, seeing all the different approaches. Best Baby Boom day for my little farm, possibly the best result I have ever had - out of 400 frogs invested results were 129 dart frogs, 37 aquamarine, 3 flying and 5 zebra!! On the big farm for the same 400 frogs - 138 dart, 31 aquamarine, 8 flying and 1 zebra. (I also got plenty of frogs back, but sold them too fast to count them.) I will not be doing anything with these riches for awhile, can't wait to see how high those get in the market! I would strongly advice NOT investing in the quest with basic frogs while prices are excessively high. For those who mentioned they have limited resources and are low on eggs, you will recover the cost, buy them! Eggs are only 1500 cc in my market.

 

Broke i can't help you at the moment with what you ask...my computer is being picked up on the 20th of this month... to go back to the shop that sold it to me ...am having port troubles... am spending more time under my desk then sitting at it ... they haven't given me a time or date when i would get it back or be given a refund .... so am frantically trying to finish this event so that i can reformat it

BUT when i get it back OR have bought a new one ...i am NOT against the idea

 

Newly introduced animals for breeding have followed a similar pattern. Many are not so easy to see. There is another animal that can easily follow the pattern of frogs with a few slight differences. I do not see the price increase to be as extreme for ..... the cat!.

There is a cloud row which gives and therefore barns will have more initial stock
But some are using the cat for the silver level of the menagerie
And cats were good to use for the animal trophy
(The use is the argument which will support a drastic price move)
Milk required as feed.
Milk prices have been within 100 cc of the EV (465) for months
Milk used in trade products
Milk trees give 2 and egg trees give 2
There were not many cat pens offered during G&T which shows some like the cat
There were many frog pens offered
Barns do not have the supply of milk as they did eggs
Cats immediately more than doubled in price when the frog event went live
There is a milk production pen which uses cows just as eggs use chickens

I have to share my exciting news with you all ... a froggie PINK pen has arrived on my farm!!
This is the first time I've got a pink pen from a brand new breeding animal. Usually they are far out of reach for months. This time I had really good skips early on, which has never happened before. The significant skips I got were:
Regular frogs = a Rainbow
Zebra frogs = a Prince
After that there was no going back, so what did it cost me?
In all, about 320 PF, 640 frogs, 7 million CCs to buy 2 Glass frogs + huge anticipation/palpitations for me and no dinner for my family.

Massive celebrations happening on this farm . ... and I still have a Rainbow looking for a mate.

Price of Frogs have Reached 38,000 cc In My Market. I have Ceased Breeding Frogs. It is not currently Logical to Breed 4 Frogs to Acquire Dart Frogs or Aquamarine Frogs, Even if you get two Darts or two Aquamarine Frogs. In Terms of CC with Current Frog Prices in the Market. It a Better Reward to win back 2x, 4x or 6x Frogs worth 36-38000 Each during Baby Boom.

As I made Millions of CC Selling Frogs, I also doing well selling Frog Feeds for about 4100 cc each too.

I saw a Glass Frog in the Market for 650,000 cc just missed by whisker

I am trying to snap some low prices Breeding Frogs, Darn...Boy they certain goes to fast I wonder is there so super snapping Feature I cannot seem to buy them quick enough I need a younger trigger finger on my Mouse lol

I had some good skips the Highest so far is Zebra Frog

 

Breeded 420 Frogs (all I had). Here's what came back to me:

154 Frogs, 149 Dart, 25 Aqua, 6 Flying, 1 zebra, 1 Gent.

Frogs are 35k for the lowest in my market. There are 115 offers right now. There have been "0" for the last 12 hours or so. In fact, no Frogs of any form have been available for the last 12 hours or so. ALL Frogs have been sold out every time I checked. Frog Feed is up to 6.5k and Eggs are 811.00 (down from a high of 1,928.00 ea.).
