FarmerDelight, it would be wrong of me to take the credit for selling the glass!! In fact, I never would have thought about it if it wasn't for my trusty mentor who suggested it to me!! A very smart lady who has taught me a great deal thus far, and still learning from her since she has become my neighbor as well

So yeah, the credit goes all to her but I'm sure she would appreciate your nice compliment

 

i forgot to keep track on the level, n just checked that i've finished level 13 AFTER i've just clicked to donate a zebra frog..

Although you were not addressing me, its relatively easy when frogs are selling for 40K each.

You are correct on all counts!
I would previously expect to maybe get 1000 CC for frogs prior to the event, with a few exceptions. It may not go back down there for some time, since folks will want to complete the permanent frog quests after this event. The thing to keep in mind with this event is that it lasts several days and the highest prices are likely during the babyboom. They are likely to drop here after the weekend, then rise again near the end as a few folks are finding they are short and scramble to buy frogs to finish. ( Note.. that is speculation based on prior events, not a certainty.)

As for regular prices.. my advice is to first keep in mind what you are paying for feed, then go from there. Watch prices for a few days and you will get a "feel" for what happens in your market. It is hard to track all anomalies, but if you have a rough idea of "regular" prices in your market, you can go from there...

Thank you for the advice and I will do just that!! Its hard to believe that a frog was going for around 1000CC not long ago, and now they are at 40,000. I saw them going for over 60,000 lastnight but I was too afraid to list that high!!!

Some kind of crazy it is, but thanks to everyone's points and views it makes it so much easier

Am stopping after level 13.... have got the cloud row and givers.... only want the the stables and the trees now... have got stork nests and butterflies already...I am happy with my 6 yellow ladders...3 basic ladders ....1 orange ladder
I haven't had one skip since baby boomer started and to do more of the event after level 13 would be a waste of PF

Which can be used to get my gold donkey for FS soup and friends to get the pinks

RL stepped in right at the height of the frog jumping frenzy yesterday. Had to be literally pulled away from my computer ........in-laws popped in town for a visit. But I'm so happy to see the frenzy has not died down. Basic Frog prices are still around 40K in market and I still have some to sell. The breeding market hasn't even started hopping yet.
Loaded my shacks overnight and so far have got a couple Gentlemen frogs as the highest skips (only breeding basics).
Finished the event up to Level 13, think I will stop there.

How is everybody getting such high skips, does it have to do with the more you put into the breeding house the better?? The highest I've bred so far was 1 gentleman and just now got him!! It also took all my little froggies to get there

Congrats JJenks, those skips are really with you

 

Candy, skips are random...sometimes your lucky, sometimes your not.
But I breed large amounts of animals so the more you breed the higher chance you have at getting better skips. I have had times I've bred tons of animals and gotten a lot of low level animals...it's just all chance.
Be careful breeding can be addicting

 

Well, feel kinda stupid, but finished all 17 levels. Pretty much wiped out my frog breeding stock, but hey, I got those reds! Couldn't help myself, kept breeding and breeding (not much on market to buy or I would have done that instead)...but I figured I would do as much when the event started, so no big surprise that I gave in, lol. At least I stopped at level 13 on bearbabe, and made awesome profits on both farms. Would be nice if skips were a bit higher...is it just me, or does it seem like the skip ratios have dropped dramatically the last 6 booms or so?

 

JJenks, I just didn't have the animals to breed like that but I'm hoping next time babyboom comes around I will be a little better prepared!! I wasn't focusing that much on milling PF's (silly me) because it took so long to produce and I needed other feeds as well. Then when I realized there was going to be a frog event (late, I might add) I had absolutely nothing LOL!! I struggled horribly, but it has all been good a lesson!! I'm just happy I got to dabble a little and see what its all about

Yes indeed, I can already see that breeding can be addicting Haha , it might be a good thing that I'm almost out of PF!!

 

In my marketing completely forgot about doing the event. Now have to think about it. Bred + purchased and finally got one frog prince. Now trying for another to build the pink stall.

If I get another frog prince, then I get a pink. That will be my great achievement. Never in my Farmerama life, have I got a pink stable on the event of its introduction. But I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch.

 

I too have for the first time during a Breeding intro managed to build a Pink! Got through step 13 and won't go any further. Just sold another 10 frogs almost instantly. Wish I had more to sell.

 

Good luck, 12ss12! Maybe you'll get really lucky and someone will sell one looking for a quick profit.

Candy, my advice to you would be to start milling PF now, as I think the next breeding event is supposed to be a neon stable event, and you will definitely want to get those. I know feed prices are high now, but you can always sell other stuff (chickens are a fast easy CC source) to subsidize your purchases. Whatever you decide to mill, keep that wheel spinning constantly - idle mill time is wasted opportunity.

I cant believe on my market, which is the cheapest, a frog is selling for 43000

 

Doing rather well for starting out with just 42 frogs. I have been milking this boom for all it is worth. Been doing other breedings for stars, and managed to get enough to get the frog basic-- yay! 20 more frogs really did help. I've had a couple of gifts from the Skip Gods, including a Zebra this morning that got me through lilypad 6. I'm only planning on going through this seventh pad anyhow. The stables are nice, but I probably can't get quite that far. 130k to go. Now that I got the PF refresh from lilypad 6, I *can* breed whatever I need to. I have four frog habitats humming away, three yellow and one orange from the rewards. I won't put out the ladder factory yet.
