Many of you remember CJAT and that she left the game last summer when she moved to another state. I spoke with her yesterday, and she and the family are all doing well. She logged into the game earlier this month, but has no plans to return at this time. She did say she missed her friends here and would like to keep in touch outside of the game. If you would like to, she said to send her an IGM and next time she logs in, she will get your info.

It really feels like it has been forever since CJ has posted. We slowly have been loosing people who play Famerama. They end up leaving Famerama at some point in life.

Nice to hear that CJAT is doing well.

It's just part of life. You meet people, walk with them for a little while and then they or one self moves. Either literally or just with focus of interests.

I guess I will revive this thread.

I do apologize for being very inactive on the forums. I just don't open it and only harvest my frogs or whatever is easy to do.
Farmerama is a fun game and I'll try to keep my account active as much as I can. I have been playing since 2010 :)

What makes me upset is that this game has changed so much that I am far behind. I don't know the market prices for things anymore.

Anyway, I have some updates about my life. Before I say this, I want you guys to know something. Never once I have assumed I am better than other people because of what I have in my life. Nor am I trying to make you guys jealous in where I have been, own, or what I'm doing. I'm only sharing with you guys because I feel this forum is part of my family. I have been with some of you for many years now. So of course I want to share about Real life and hear about yours as well. Now back on topic, I will be moving once my Fiancee comes to USA. But however, we are still in the process of her visa. By guessing, I think her visa will be issued around August to November. Recently the visa has entered one of the next steps which brings it closer to being issued. (If approved of course)

Anyway, I went fishing today in the Susquehanna river and caught a 15 inch Bass :) :)

Sounds fun, solo! I don't know about bass, I've never caught one, trout are what we fish mainly, but a 15 inch trout is a treasure, so I imagine a 15 inch bass is too, congratulations!:D

I can't speak for anyone else, but I've never felt you were suffering from a superiority complex or trying to show off or make us jealous. I love seeing your photos (you're quite a photographer, I wish I had your eye;)), and I like hearing about your travels. Being a bit of a homebody myself, I can experience your fun vicariously and never have to leave the comfort of my kitchenxD. And yes, the forum is family to many of us, it's the main reason I couldn't stay away from the game when I left last year, many many good people here.:inlove: So please, keep sharing, we care about you and what's going on in your life.:)

That's good news for you and Mira, that her visa is progressing forward. Just think, by the end of the year she should be with you! Might seem like forever, but really it's only a few months more, and they will pass quickly. So much will be going on, with her coming and your upcoming nuptials, you will be a busy little fish :p! Word of advice; start packing non-essentials now, a little at a time, so you're not so completely overwhelmed when it's time to move. Also, number each box and keep a master list of what's in it so you can find stuff when you need it. And if you can only stop in once in a while, we understand, just come visit when you can, you always have a home on the farm.:inlove:

Very happy for you Solo! I am glad to read your RL updates:)Good luck on Mirah's visa.

I want to say hi to everyone:music: and that I am finally back:D
I finished school on Thursday and I had a great day with my classmates at the beach! Summer has just started for me but it will end soon. Next year will be my last in school so this summer I will have lessons and I will have to study for next year's exams. These exams are called "panellinies" and they are the same for all Greek students. If I do well I will get to a university, so every student my age will have summer lessons if he wants to do well. But I will still try to enjoy summer too. I will have to study a few subjects 4 or 5.
I don't know what exactly I missed while I was gone from the game but I know my crops turned to weeds a couple times even though I used super grow fields:eek:xD

I talked recently to sewinglady to congratulate her for passing a level and she told me to let everyone know that she thinks of us often:) !She can't access the forum from her main account because of the problems with bigfish.

    8) So good to hear from you again, Solo!! I echo all the warm sentiments so well expressed already, and hope you'll be able to keep us posted as often as you can. We are excited for the adventures that await you (and Mirah), and look forward to your posts!!
Does Mirah like fishing? Or will you have the pleasure of teaching her - and then enjoying the results!!:music::D

    Yaaaaay
Arielh!! Glad you finally finished this school year!! (LOL - well, sort of...!) It might be hard to have to study this summer, but I know you will do well!! Have you picked out a few Universities you'd like to attend? Or do you already know which one??:) Thank you for letting us know about sewinglady. I was wondering what had happened to her. I've missed her lovely posts.

Nice to get an update Solo - a big congrats on the lovely bass! :)When you pack, make sure to put a general list of contents (covered with packing tape so it will stay put) on the box. It will help out when you are desperately looking for a certain item you need.:p Hope the visa goes through without difficulties.

Arielh - Hope you enjoy your summer despite the studying. I am sure you will do well and progress to a university. Which would be your first choice?

I don't know which university I want to attend. I guess I will write the exams first and then see what I will choose. It's so difficult for me to decide.

@Arielh, Wish I could help you with choosing. However, all I can say is that education is very important. I would assume that you need to first know what you want to be before just enrolling into a college/university. I haven't yet gone to college because I was never sure in what I wanted to be. I would always say "Fish warden", then I thought about Computer Graphic designing. Of course that's not the end, I was thinking of getting a CDL. (Truck driver). I'm still undecided because I also thought about trade school.

I see many people have replied, would be lots of work to quote each post. So instead I will try to just answer all of your questions at once.

Mirah just happens to know how to cut and clean the fish. She went to a summer camp that has taught them how to do so. I did speak to her about going fishing in the USA. She said she can watch me while I fish. But I doubt she will only want to watch once she see's how long I fish for. She never used a fishing pole like mine, so I will get to teach her to be good like I am. I have taught one of my younger brothers and tried to show the other one. But he doesn't really listen to me. For example, I say where I assume the fish are. So I'll cast my pole out and most of the times I in fact catch one. However, he will still be fishing in a different spot.

When that 15 inch bass took my bait, it pulled so hard that I thought my hook got caught on something. Once I saw my line getting pulled out, I knew it was a big fish. I was afraid that my line would snap since I only had ten pound line. When I started reeling in, the bass jumped out of the water and made a big splash. That's when my youngest brother ran over with a net to help capture it. Once he netted it, all my worries about loosing the fish were gone
    xDxDxDxD

About moving, It's a great idea to label the boxes and prepare at least some stuff ahead of time. But one thing I should mention :wuerg::wuerg:
The move is kind of only 1 minute walking distance. xDxDxD
However, I'll need to buy a full size bed, silverware, dishes, dresser, microwave, things like that. But first I'll speak to my grandmother because she have mentioned about having certain things.

Anyway, thank you everyone for your nice comments, it's enjoyable to read your post. Especially the ones with some sense of humor. It's always great to laugh or smile all alone at 5 AM wide awake.

Solo I know how it is when your younger siblings don't listen to you. They think they can do better even if they are inexperienced and try it for the first time:p
I have never been fishing even though I live on an island:eek:

In some way grandmothers are like mothers. They have always something for you to take home.
Some dishes that are not more in use ore out of design (not modern), tree fruits, veggies and what ever marmalade was just potted in way to many jars to keep for them self. ;) (And cookies in December) Besides, they like to get something special and new for the new household.
A jump start into the new live. It used to be the baby bottle or diaper and now it's the frying pan and microwave.

And still, you will always be mommy's baby. There is no way around it.
