Once Upon a Lilypad

Spotsbox, great advice.. I just put some in the mill and it will start churning out as soon as the last of my frog feed is done!! I can only make 2 at a time so I must fix that ASAP!! Yes, feed prices are high now, but remember... I am RICH now LOL !!! Wishing they had a smiley with $$ in it Haha!! I know this is off topic, but do you know what kind of animals we will be needing for this neon stable event??

Nellie_Noodles, I feel your pain!! Nobody knows better than me right now how frustrating that can be, but keep your head up and just have fun with it!! When those skips turn around and finally start playing nice with you it will feel like such a great accomplishment!! You will be jumping for joy

 

I have finished the event on this farm. I only bred regular Frogs and got a Frog Prince! Handsome enough to kiss!

I only have 8 Frogs (started with about 1400), one Zebra Frog and my handsome Frog Prince left. CC balance has never been higher. Might make it to over 100k this event. Now, can I hang on to it!

Chevrefeuille may or may not finish - about 1,000,000 CCs worth short at the moment but if the prices of regular Frogs drop or some other ones come on the market, I have made enough from selling regulars (50,000 CCs each - thought I was having trouble with the font again!), I think I can buy enough to finish. Both this farm and baby farm got a Gentleman Frog. Trying to hang on to them ... but if he's what it takes to finish the event (on this farm at least), so be it!

Baby farm loves breeding too but I was determined not to go overboard so I have just done up to lily pad 4 so I could get a Ladder Factory and some more PF. Now I am breeding other animals. I have converted three fields over to raising Frogs to sell or continue with the event - it just depends how the prices go!

Sorry to see some of you are having rubbish skips - I know that feeling oh so well. It's nice when the luck changes, even if it is short-lived!

Hi Candy! Glad to see you are having fun with the breeding ... it is a bit addictive! But such fun! I wanted to save some PF for the next breeding bash but couldn't do it! Back to the mill!

 

Does the gentleman frog remind anyone else of the singing/dancing frog Michigan J. Frog from Bugs Bunny?

I don't get it. I haven't seen any frog available under 35k for 24hrs now!

This event was announced weeks and weeks ahead and every not-so-new player around started with milling frog feeds, had frog pens out, bought more frog pens once they were in the shop .. and yet there ain't enough froggies around to keep its price reasonable, even the more remarkable while the basic requierments for this event aren't that high.
I do understand a peak in the market sometime after the start of an event but usually this kind of inflation flattens out in a few hours, I mean not ongoing a day or a whole weekend.

Something ain't right, dunno what but I won't blame Bugs B.!

Anyways.. congrats to all who reached a goal of some kind!

I am with you Habalala! I could not believe the price of Frogs. I made an effort to get as many Frogs as I could before the event just to get through it easily (LOL!) and even then I only made it to 1400 and just over 1000 on my main farms. I know there is always a little moment when some CCs are to be had but honestly, I really had to close my eyes and blink when I saw the price of Frogs.

I can only think that many feel that CCs are easier to get than PF! After all, a little over 6,000 regular Frogs and the event is done without a sniff of PF - right?

 

Wow just skipped a baldy to an goldie sheep. I only breed on baby boomers went for cloud row and am done with frogs.

 

Whatcha going to do with all that that money (ccs) ya made?

I recall, after the first day I played this game, and had no clue yet of what the game would be like, I had a thought about "What if this game would offer to convert the CC I earned today to an amount of real $$ .. hmm .. and what if it doesn't?"

I fell asleep before I was able to come up with an answer.

I'm thrilled to hear of so many accomplishments from the Lilypad event!

I built a pink frog pen!!! One prince frog was from buying 4 glass frogs right before event and the 2nd prince was a fab skip from 4 regs$!!!!

I have no clue myself right now, I hope to be able to give you an answer in a year, or two, or five and then I might be able to tell you how my gameplay went. That is, by that time, if I'm still able to recall what I did

 

I decided to give up on the idea of a pink frog and make some cc on the frog market - been snapping up cheap dart frogs as they arrived too.

 

I finished the whole event on both farms woo hoo now I can sell sell sell congrats to everyone getting pink pens and high end animals I also just need one more frog prince to make a pink frog ive been holding the one I have since just after BBD started

 

I finished through lv 12. Happy with what I completed and doesn't seem like it put too much of a dent in my PF I have alot of Darts so I put a few rounds in to see what may pop out. I am really happy with my Frog Prince Congrats to all for all the goodies they got and the pens they will get to build

Woohoo! Just got through the seven lilypads that I care to do. I may try to sell some froggies tomorrow. Managed a Zebra this last breeding-- wonder what I could sell that for?

So frustrated...this will be the first time since 2011
I have run out pheromones! I went into the
store to see how much they cost...OMG 1000CC's
I have the prince frog and the rainbow...annoyed bc they didn't skip so i have one of each...I think when u get to the 2nd row of breeding animals...they turn the skip off. total gas lighting
my frogs that are breeding will be another 2 hours. First was just breeding frogs but was like Dun---frog event is longer so I started breeding
If you hear a loud thug...thats me bagging my head into the wall...LOL

 

Using just basic frogs to breed I got some good skips.... zebra frogs and a lovely glass frog... yay. I have gotten double givers and this is all working 7 days this week. I am grateful for the cloud row and decree's help in sorting it easily so I don't have to compute it myself. Thank you everyone for your input. I've not time to read everyone's input, but shall later when I have time. It's never too late to learn.
