Thank you farmlily3 for hosting this wonderful party and Thank you for posting a picture of my strawberry short cake as I wouldn't have a clue! 12ss12 I just your dress and all the great treats you are introducing us too! It is so nice to see everyone having a good time! Time to go get some of willows ice cream and then to go have a float on one of jj's pink flamingos! So much fun!

 

Hi everyone!! Shrimp, steak, and ribs in that order, please!! And a little of a lot of the side dishes Then I shall play some games to make room for all those desserts Hope there are some left by that time Just hope David has back ups to help with the grilling If not I volunteer to help

 

Oh everything looks and smells soooo good. I think I'll pick up one of those delicious looking kabobs as I wander by. Eat a little, mingle a little and then go find Farmerumf to see if she has any of that Pink champagne left.
Don't forget your sunscreen everybody.

 

I made it just in time for the meal! I'm a meat and meat kind of spots, and those steaks look oh-so-appetizing - make mine pink in the middle, please! And I would adore one of those corn and potato kabobs. With a little of 12's raspberry coconut ice and that lovely jam as well (I bet it will be scrumptious on this cherry bread). So much food, I'm afraid I'll be too heavy for the balloon ride! I brought a pinata for the youngsters, and a lovely bouquet of roses for our guest of honor (edible, of course).

Awww everything looks divine! Hubby and I brought the boat to enjoy the lake. I just finished some water skiing with my girlfriend DBAYES.
We have a banana raft or if anyone would like a ride or waterski just ask?(This is a virtual party...so no aches or pains)
I'm going to dry off and soak up some sun...and then head over to the BBQ and get some of those kabobs!

Brooke, G-R-E-A-T idea!! I'd love a boat ride!! Your photos look so inviting...I grew up with boats and now there are none. I really miss boating, (and could tell you some tales)!!

SURPRISE!!!

The Ballooning Club is just half a mile down the road from here, by the water...so we'll get a bonus - 'skimming' the water!! Many balloonists love this challenge! It's to see how close you can come to just skimming the top of the water without going too deep - it's a thrilling skill and ride to have!

Sadly, we will have to leave before them fireworks start, Bats big booms not pretty, but not before we offer Mir the closest we can come to fire rockets.
