I have completed Growing All Tea Leaves Needed for This Event

I have replaced my Fields with 127 Yellow Frog Ponds, To Restock on Frogs Ready for Nublon Breeding....It would be nice to have Nublon Frog. LOL

I have a Menagerie, I harvested it On the Plus Side it gave me 3 x Teabags. There are Beneficial to Boost your Drops. I now thing of Getting ManuFactory use this to Place 4 x Yellow Ladder Factories. Will Upgrade this to 4 x Orange Ladder Factories at Next Breeding Event.

127 Yellow Frog Ponds are reaping me on Average 85 Teabags.

I too have finished growing tea leaves if my calculations are right (love that +1 from the calendar, saved me 2 days event crop farming), and now trying to plan for drop farming. Think I will put out my frogs in one field as well, since I need to replenish them anyway. Will experiment with the other fields - don't want to waste the 79 hours of CAC I have left). Good time to grow raspberries, I think, low on them.

 

All farms have 3228 event crops (no worries here so taking advantage and growing longer crops that fit in with my work schedule) and drops are 432/401/245 respectively. Not too bad on the main farms but can't afford to let the rate slip. Baby farm may have to pick and choose on prizes but not too bothered about that.

Going to get everything before I start milling and donating ... may leave baby farm till the last moment and mill as I go! I am off on the last day of the event so this should be possible ... well maybe I better do a bit of milling on Sunday!

Now where and when is this party Mir?

 

Oh no, didn't you get the directions illy? The picnic party was here, there's a lot of left over food, and I'm sure you'll find some farmers that spent the night by the bonfire

I'm still growing tea. Got a late start, but I'll have plenty of tea soon. I'll concentrate on the drops then. I have a total of 245 Tea bags right now. 1110 is still a long way off, but I do have hope. I too am waiting till I have all needed items on hand before I start the Quest. Right now, it feels as though it will go right down to the wire. Just depends on the drop rate.

 

Hang in there sirpippen! I got a later start myself and am about a third of the way right now. The drops aren't thrilling, but I believe there is sufficient time to get finished.

 

I will hold hope with you two, bad start here too. Space before each event would be nice.

 

But as the number of tea is quite reasonable, you should be able to get it finished and start growing longer time crops fairly quickly

 

I'm with you mingling. This overlapping of events is getting quite old. A couple of days between would be nice and not too much to ask for I think.

@Willow, mingling & FionaSky: Thanks for the vote of confidence. I just finished harvesting the last of my Tea. Switched to better drop crops and have started some Earl Grey in the Mill. Like I said it feels like it will be close, but doable none the less.

 

I got a late start too. Last crop in now then will switch to longish refined crops for drops. I've been using refined crops combined with alchemist products overnight....Even without refinements you can get raspberries down to 11:32 using the alchemist products. Hang in there everybody, there is still plenty of time.

Whats this Nublon breeding event about? Is it supposed to be a new animal?

Nublons will drop from the sky. You have to collect them and breed them. After the event coloured nublons will be exchanged for corresponding level coloured farm animals. That's the rumour so far. Please see grapevine thread for more juicy rumours.

May be we have to move this to Jokes section. Or better have an exclusive thread for Farmerama Jokes exclusive - thread.

RL work assignment came right on time and unexpectedly. Just not long enough to escape thoughts of this event though.

And no one in this office seems to be concerned at all about the weeds! Don't they understand this farming is serious business?

And I see we have a new tree box and a product box! Wonders never cease.

 

Sorry about RL work interruptions, dear Broke! In the same place myself! However, if my calculations are right I have only two more harvests to finish the tea leaves. I'm at the half way point on bags and will soon be on all long crops, with Flower CR running to help.
Persevere, all those with RL delays - we will yet triumph!
