Feedback Manufactory and Arboretum

I had to have them both, because they are adorable and I...just had to have them. My feelings on the actual efficacy of these buildings has been stated in the Menagerie thread and I won't make you read them again. I had plenty of stars on this farm and was happy to spend them on cuteness. But I will not be trying to earn the stars on my younger farm, it's not worth it.

 

The Arboterum isn't worth of my stars But I like the Manufactory and I think I am going to get it soon.
What worries me though it's the price of 500 stars. I have them but if later they get less(like it happend with Bahamarama's price) they won't give us our stars back But again who can wait of not having it?

I wonder what will happen with the drops? We won't be able to get many if we have are workshops in the Manufactory

 

Ariel - I can confirm that in the menagerie that I had 4 pink rabbits and when harvested received 3 tea bags from it so the drops appear to be based on the stables placed in it. Hope that helps

 

I got the workshop ones, just as I wanted, price yeah high but it's a game not like it's for non- job holding children or anything.
To me the best bang for my buck. The look, well the yellow is really there makes me go hang out else where, I like the space saved and for me having the workshops all in one will work great, just wish if the operator is gonna use 4 of the same animal there was a button to just fill it. Not time saving but cute.

 

well i did buy de Arboretum and the Manufactory with stars put them out on the field with the Menagerie
and this morning got my first drill what do you know hopefully the rest will be following soon so i can upgrade one of them
now rushing to collect more stars for the buildings comming for Bahamarama

Looked forward to the Aboretum coming.... BUT just to put 8 trees in ...i think NOT . That and the manufactory ....Another two i wont be buying ...

Only thing i like about them all IS.... the graphics ...the rest of it doesn't interest me one little bit.... they are very expensive and do very little as far as i can see

 

For me, being able to fit four animal pens/workshops in the space of one is nice and does help. Being able to upgrade to 8 in one would be very cool, I'm not FOCD enough to think that will happen at an appreciable rate given the upgrade cost; plus, I have the worst luck with drops in general.

I was happy enough with the menagerie and thought the arboretum would be comparable on a space saving level so I bought it without reading the info <face, palm, repeat>. I agree it's a terrible value: pretty much worthless.

Overall I don't mind the star cost for these units, but I'm one that has plenty of those. The upgrade costs are flat out ridiculous for the value the units bring. I was initially glad to see a space saving strategy like this, but capping it at two of each (one of each for me given my BB philosophy) is disappointing given the rate at which new pens and trees are introduced; it's a neat idea, but just a drop in the bucket, and an expensive one at that.

 

Got the manufactory because it's worth my stars. Still unimpressed with the sheer price of upgrades so will stick with just the 4 slots for now. And the drill drop rate is taking the mick.

 

i have all 3 warehouses bought with stars now waiting for the drills so i can upgrade the Manufactory still 7 drill to go

The donation amounts are high. The arboretum, in particular, seems out of line, since it gives far fewer trees proportionally. This is particularly a shame for trees, since we can already fit them in and around our pens. Its not really much of a space saver.

I likely will open all of them eventually, but its not because they are really "worthwhile", its because I am at a level where there just is not much else to do but fill every last quest, rune and any "artificial" goals I decide to create on my own (such as getting 5K of every crop... etc.)

 

woody - all the storage facilities are independent of each other. You can open only the Manufactory if you wish.

 

I succumbed and bought the menagerie and manufactory. Glad of the space saving how ever little. Won't buy the tree one, I fill in the spaces at the edge with trees so no advantage to take a 2x2 space.

 

I bought the menagerie, and will likely purchase the manufactory when my star level is replenished, but will not be buying the arboretum for the simple fact that it, in my mind, isn't worth it. The menagerie and manufactory each save us 12 spaces, which doesn't seem like much, but can be. The arboretum, by comparison, only saves us 2, since we are only allowed 6 slots initially, with a maximum future potential of 8 slots, which would still only give us a total of 4 saved spaces. To my way of thinking, the arboretum should provide the same ratio of space savings as the other two warehouses, which would mean an ability to place 16 trees in basic, 24 in upgrade, saving 12 and 20 spaces respectively. I think, as has been stated previously, that the concept is good, but it definitely needs tweaking, especially since the price in stars and BBs is so high. If this were to change in the future, I might consider getting the arboretum, until then, count me among the disillusioned.

 

First, I would like to thank you for allowing us to open the new buildings in the order we choose, it was a nice surprise. I find value in the menagerie and manufactory and have opened both, with no real sense of urgency to upgrade...I opened them with my store of unused stars (thank you for that option as well,) but I will not be purchasing the second set with BB-they are not that valuable yet. With that being said, I will not be opening the aboretum period-no real value there in terms of space saved...now, if we were able to use it for our jumbo trees, I would be singing a different tune You get an E for effort, however solving the need for space for the endless additions of trees, animals, and workshops needs your continued efforts...Strive for balance

 

disappointed the arboretum doesn't save that much space. power drill drops is also disappointingly low -not a single one yet

 

I still doubt if to buy the Manufactory for 299 BB mayby it will pay off if they are boyh upgraded to 8 that double
makes 16 spaces to manufactor products sounds tempting must say it will take quit a bit of time before i even can upgrade 1
so i leave it for now

I thought since they were in a line on the tree, you had to open them in succession.

 

Mingling I am not shore i have a harvester but the biggest chance it came out off the Menagerie
in the Menagerie 3 pink Chameleon and one 1pink Bever hopefully it is usefull
