Tea Solves Everything - Strategy

Right now I'm 22 Tea Bags short to mill the last 10 Earl Grey needed for the CR. Will get those this evening and I'm sure there will be a surplus of Tea Bags here when the event ends. The surplus is from running long time crops during daytime yesterday, very much against my normal play... not harvesting on the usual times and the such.. I did so to be sure I would make it in time. Guess it wasn't needed afterall but gah! I'm glad I did.

Keltic done, ming threw in the towel, this farm needs givers anyway for the park and shipwreck so still a win.
I just wish they could put it on the event if you will need candy to finish or just not for those with basic have's farm or something, I would have not played on ming, no goodies.

 

Got all done. Event CR is up and running. From now on every Tea Bag drop seems useless. I don't recall an event in the past year which I finished that close to the end (15 hrs left).

 

I think I like this new format of Events: easy on the Crop requirements but heavy on the drops. It certainly makes a difference from the normal race of growing "junk".

One had to really think here, especially when combined with the fruit Event starting tomorrow. Crops were done in 2-3 days but drops were trailing big time, for most. So we had to try to maximize drops as well as being prepared for next Event - never ever happened before and I loved the new challenge.

Ps. I used refined Raspberries (9.58 h with everything added) to get all teabags to finish the Event.

 

This is the first event in 3 years I haven't been able to finish. Next time I will pay a little bit more attention. Since the CR is lost to me I guess now would be a good time to prepare my trees.

 

It is 3 a.m. my time and I finally finished Tea Quest. I have 6 Earl Grey and 1 teabag leftover But I noticed that the event timer reads 2 hrs left in event but FAQ states it runs until 1400 cest which means by where I live the timer should have 5 hrs left. Congrats to those who finished and even those who didn't finish!! Job well done all the way around I may never look at a cup of Earl Grey again the same way BTW, I tried some Lady Earl Grey (I think that's what it's called) soooo yummy!!! I it!

Thanks to all that sent teabags. I ended up 82 short so I had to buy 100 and completed it. It is just about 3 hours until the end, but I am falling asleep and need to get to bed since it is almost 2 a.m. After more than 5 years of play, can't believe I couldn't get enough drops.

 

Thanks to all friends and neighbors who sent teabags It is 4 AM and I have harvested a field of trees in order to get enough teabags. The overnight crop just wasn't enough. I now have enough teabags (the exact number with none left over) to make the final cups of Earl Gray. That means that every one of your gifts was used and most appreciated. Thank you!

 

Knew going in that the required drops were probably beyond my reach, but went for it anyway. Made sure to get the lower level prizes as I have no jumbo trees to allow me to build up a supply of SG, SSG, or turbo mulch. Didn't bother with the givers...just stuck with getting other stuff instead. This way won't have CR that is grey and driving me miss daisy over here!

 

Illy has finished ... just. Only 11 Teabags excess so a pretty tough event for drops. I think Chevrefeuille will make it ... really hopeful on a field of refined Carnations. Baby farm is probably about 110* short so will just have to decide which EP giver to go for. I would prefer finishing the level that gives Supergrow but the EP giver for the level that gives Mulch gives more EP. Oh decisions, decisions!

*Vastly underestimated: thought I had finished level 4 but alas no! Only found out when I tried to find the other EP giver then realised I could have got the secret stable, if I hadn't already gone for the Supergrow loevel! LOL! I knew I shouldn't have messed about with events with this farm!

 

I managed to get all the items with only 4 drops left! I didn't get the cloud row but I am glad I went that far by only logging in rarely.
I would do it though without all of you who sent me drops, Thanks
Time to place my trees out! Again I will have a late start but thankfully we don't really need the drops

 

Chevrefeuille is biting her nails now - 6 required to finish, one field of Sunflowers, one of Oats and only enough BBs to buy one Teabag. Tried cramming my own teabags into the computer but they are not strong enough! Might be looking for the last EP giver at the G&T at the end of the month!

This is one if the first events I have not finished in a long time, but my folks are in town and I just had other priorities. Congratulations to all who completed it (or who did as much as they set out to do)!

 

I too just finished with 18 minutes left I truly was up all night! Off to plant some trees and Congrats to all who were able to finish! On to the next madness..I mean farming! lol

 

i did finished in time but for me it would be better a little more crops and a little less drops
they ammount of drops is getting to much
