The drop rate spoilt this event:(
And if tea solves everything ....THEN why didn't it solve the problem of lack of drops we have been having ???s ...so that isn't true then is it in the eyes of Farmerama :(
Because i am struggling to get 32 earl greys together to finish this event
I give this event a BIG BIG zero
Used to be fun playing in events...but lately it's becoming a chore because of drops
Got all the crops for this event ...my only let down is the drops ...which i have no control over ...what a waste of time
My last attempt will be over night refined carnations...but am not holding my breath
No luck with refined carnations... and finishing LL was a waste of my time
i am down to wanting 14 earl greys ..i have used all my bb's buying these
I can do no more ...And do not even feel i want to anymore:(

Think it's time for me to look for a new game ... this event has proved that to me... because this game has become stressful and not a pleasure to play anymore and think i may have found just that game ;)

Thank you to the people that sent me drops .. they were much appreciated and Illy thank you ...i owe you (((((((((((hugssss)))))))))))

Sorry.....I have a negative opinion and experience with this event. It seems to me that unless you buy your way through with real $$$ or sit at your computer and revolve your RL around Farmerama, these events are impossible to finish. I quickly finished growing the required event crop and planted long growing crops such as carnations, spelt, garlic etc, had neons and pinks out for stables, even had to beg in the SOS thread for help....only to NOT finish this event.>:(

This event has been horrific - the drop rate was ridiculously low and how it can be deemed as medium is beyond me. I wasn't even overly impressed with the plant this time. The nice thing was the amount of crops were fewer.

The crops were only 5 hrs, which is nice. However, reaching the required amount of crops was not the problem. It is the required drop amount that is the problem. This event should be labeled as "DIFFICULT" for that reason. You will need to use SSG and SG on carnations and other high value crops just to flip your fields to over and over to get the required drops of tea. For the measly gifts and cloud row it is not worth it - at all. I take responsibility for participating in the event because I should have done the math and realized quicker that this was a huge waste of my supply of SG & SSG. I was busy with work and family and when the event started, I just started planting thinking I would have time later to figure out my strategy. Also, there have been too many events back to back and no time to rest in between. I used to enjoy events. But it seems lately I have to really put a lot of thought and math (not my strong point) and figuring into each and every event to see if I should bother. I feel this event was to suck money (real money) out of us. Because there is no way to finish this event unless you are using on Carnations and other high value crops: zucchini-apple bread, carrot bread, super-grow and your laughing, dancing flower buffs (Not sure what the loading flowers are called) and anything else in our arsenal to finish the event.

By not labeling this event as "DIFFICULT" I just assumed I would finish before checking all the facts. This is dishonest on BP's part. As a consumer, I feel, when out and about in the real world, I need to be cautious about where I purchase items, where to shop. I look for sales and coupons, etc because I have a home and a family and I just can't be careless with our money. I never used to feel that way about Farmerama. Now, I do. Are you just telling us these events are "Medium" difficulty so once everyone is half way through and used some of their supply only to realize you're not going to finish unless you double up? If it had been labeled (as it should have been) "DIFFICULT" difficulty and I looked at the rewards I would NOT have participated in this event. I used over 500 SG and all my zucchini-apple bread that I had stored for a 4500EP Cloud row. I play Farmerama for fun because I love to farm and not able to do that in real life. I suggest better labeling on the events and perhaps a rating system of drop amounts. (i.e. 12,000 ep's = 27 tea bag drops). So people who have real lives can have a real idea as what this event is going to cost before we begin it. I will be much, much more cautious before beginning events from now on. Also, I have cut back purchasing farm items lately because I have become less and less enthused with Farmerama. Too many trees for sale. Don't even get me started on the new menagerie and the outrageous costs. I am hoping for better communication on events and more information as to cost (not so much the details of the event). But what it is going to cost us in SG or PF or ZAB etc. This helps us to better know if we choose to participate or not. Then, no one feels there was a raid on our supplies.

In conclusion I rate this event (on a scale of 1 to 10 "10 being the highest") 1.

Hot tea makes my world happy, but this event did not. Sorry BP. It was just unbalanced. As I stated in the strategy thread, high level farms that have high level trophies and long crops that are not sitting idle should be able to complete a Medium event without stress. That's what we strive for as young farmers that 'someday' we will be able to complete events too. Due to the average daily drop rate, I expected to be still collecting drops towards the end of the event, but thought it could still be done comfortably. This farm did finish only because of refinements. My 2nd farm that does not have refinements is struggling mightily. It will only be because of my wonderful friends and neighbors who have responded to my plea for help that I might be able to squeak through. At this point, with 17 hours remaining in the event, it is still not certain if I will be able to. By having to work on this event right up until the very end has now negatively compromised my farm to be ready for the Fruit event starting immediately. No 2nd cup of tea for me.

Well, 14 hours to go and I'm over 300 short. Will not finish and that's that. The drop rates went downhill for some reason even though I ramped up the ep after getting the 8000. I don't know why such a small event turned out so badly for me. I'm on the fence with this one...it's looked hard to fail.

I thought the whole grading system was there as a guide to players as to what will be needed, expected and if what you put into your farm you deserve to be able to join in the extra just for you farmers events.

easy, fun for all let the new blood get the feets wet.
Medium, once you get here finishing is in the bag, and get a couple of days to free farm!
Hard, Prizes are bigger better, faster and you have to have the toys to play.

When did it all change? Now med is hard easy has not been seen, makes my BB shake in fear what the next hard one will be like.
This was ok, not whining, but some outline would be nice.

IMHO this event could only be done by those who had the time and oppertunity (high level crops). It was hardly worth the effort given the reward. Rating it as a Medium event is misleading. Any player dislikes being mislead. Enuf said.

I was well committed to the event before it dawned on me that I wasn't going to make it without drastic effort. I did complete it but it took some close to "instant" refined roses with lots of SG to get it done. If I see another event with this kind of risk/reward ratio, I'll pass. The entire game is getting too clumsy, cluttered and full of "bugs". I'm very tired of having to refresh my game because something doesn't work right. I remember filling out the survey that popped up in the cinema and saying that few bugs and a reliable game were most important, not constantly "new" items that cost more and more in either time or Real Money. I guess I was the only one that said this because the game certainly hasn't gone the way I envisioned it. CR events are no longer a priority for me.

I agree, I have worked hard on this event and been really dilligent, however despite having the top trophies my drop rates have been terrible and I am not going to get the cloud row. Its very disappointing when you plan the event out and still fail. I would class this is a Hard event as drops are too low, the growing was easy with CAC and small plots, but then it all falls apart. It was very unfair.

Congratulations Farmerama! You have cured me of my FOCD (Farmerama Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). You keep throwing unreasonable events at us that clearly are trying to make us spend real money in order to finish. As a long term player that has upgraded Living Legend statutes fully and uses refinements, etc., I should be able to easily finish a medium event. Not so. . . I refuse to spend money to finish an event, and consistently not finishing events is making me less and less thrilled with the game. Also, the number of events coming so close together is a turn off.

I think I remember that Bigpoint merged with another company -- if this is what they are compelling you to do, the merger is ruining the game. So sad - I used to very much enjoy this game. I hope you can turn it back around to being the enjoyable, relaxing game that attracted so many.

I knew from the start that a Medium label for this event was a misnomer. 1100+ drops without the tropical areas? It seems that lately getting drops for quests is the sticking point; I used to be able to rest on the fact that growing a ridiculous number of crops would take care of the drops, but not so anymore. This event was pretty ho-hum for me: I knew I could never get the CR. Even though I did my best to grow tea as fast as possible and move onto drop crops, I'm about 180 short, which is better than I expected.

Quests are starting to suffer from the labor saving device factor: what was devised as a luxury item to help make something easier or take less time is now essential; saved time must be rolled back in. I used to be able to squeak out the number of crops on large plots only (yes, I have been playing a while), now I have to consume 3 craft products just to kickstart my initial production, and it is required to CAC on 1x1s to grow enough crops fast enough in order to have time to plant the drop crops (which now need refinements, apparently). If you want to use luxury items or put in the time to manage 100's of 1x1's and refine things, it should be easier, even more so if you're using items purchased for real $--but it shouldn't be required for a run-of-the-mill event.

failed..... despite growing carnations with supergrow overnight, such a major disappointment to just be lacking enough teabags, by a long way not just a few, to complete the final part of the last level to get the cloud row. Just not enough drops as I have played very hard the last few days. What on earth happened with the drops to ensure even high level players didnt get the cloud row. A massive thumbs down from me........

I finally finished an hour ago with 6 earl grey and 1 tea bag leftover. Sure, it was no problem growing the crops but then I have to plant my longest crops to get the drops needed??? I like to be an active farmer and that is just too much idle time for me. It seems that since BP merged or was bought out (whatever it was) this game has made changes that aren't helping in any way, shape or form:(:( I just knew when I read the FAQ's for this event that I should have listened to that little voice of mine that the drops were going to get us. And then we have to choose whether we finish this event or get ready for the next oneo_O:eek:-.- What's up with that?

Ten thumbs down(if I had 10 thumbs). For months I've been losing interest in doing events. This looked doable, so I worked hard on it but once again a lack of balance got me. I currently have over 12,000 of the event crop but still short over 200 of the event drop with 3 hours left. When are y'all going to make an event balanced?
