Great Bhodho ! I will follow your strategy.

 

Don't forget that to breed lots of chicks and parrots you also need lots of food! I'm just setting my mills to churn it out - grapes, apples and wheat. I need to plant all my apple trees around the edge of the pens, just waiting for plants to be ready to harvest. Growing wheat and grapes non stop until just before event begins. I hope I've thought of everything.

Poo might be selling for a penny farmer_broke may not make money off of poo this time but I have an idea that there is another way!! So disappointed that there is very very little PF returned to us. Now the question is will there be a BBD? And the Soccer Finale right in the middle of this event? But I'm jumping ahead.....like a frog I know chickens ad parrots were mentioned but don't forget the Cuckoos

 

I already love the fact this event doesn't need a bunch of way ahead preparations. Will empty my farmlands and put pens out an hour before the start. What a relief! Depending on the (expected high) drop rate from normal fields I'll decide to parrotchickencuckoo all the way or to switch back/resume normal farming.

For those players that can't turn their fields every hour or so you might also try rabbits and geese. I would love to be able to just breed chickens but it seems a waste when I can only check in a couple times a day. Good luck to everyone!

 

So happy, with help from my friends I juuuuust managed to get to L21, YAY!! I am going to follow Bhodho's excellent strategy, and hope for the best.

This is the most friendly schedule event BP has ever done! Especially when it's back to back with the Fruit Market event!
With most trees maturing 20, 18 or 12 hrs, you know when your last harvest will be for the Fruit Market drops. Then you can decide when to switch to stables & workshops for Nublon Snail drops. Depending on your schedule & time zone you can go with whichever stable fits you best!
Collect Nublon Snails for a day & 1/2 while waiting for BBD!
BBD has usually been from sometime on Friday to sometime on Sunday when breeding event starts on Thursday

Raw Numbers [without BBD twins, skips or breeding rune]:

Nublon Snails (drops) 56 + 92 + 320 + 448 + 768 TOTAL 1684
PF needed to breed Green NS 814
Green Nublon Snails 23 + 80 + 112 + 192 TOTAL 407
PF needed to breed Blue NS 192
Blue Nublon Snails 20 + 28 + 48 TOTAL 96
PF needed to breed Pink NS 38
Pink Nublon Snails 7 + 12 TOTAL 19
PF needed to breed Yellow NS 6
Yellow Nublon Snails 3 TOTAL 3
TOTAL PF [ without any twins, skips, etc.] 1050
With BBD needed Nublon Snail drops & PF will be much less, by half at least!

Since there is nothing you can do until you receive enough drops (Nublon Snails) which are guaranteed from stables & workshops, set up for this event is whatever works for you! So relax & finish the Fruit Market event knowing you'll have time before BBD to get the Nublon Snails needed for this event!

Oh cringe. I think I have maybe 70 PF, and of course I donated my walnuts to the event this morning. *kicks self* Well, I have the rune. Hoping for a really excellent BBD and the blessings of the Skip Gods.

 

Julie seems to be so happy I won't be producing for poo! Wow!

And you can bet I've already found another way.

• Chicken feed to keep the poor busy
• Parrot feed when they realize their mills cannot keep up
• Monkey feed as barns empty
• Elephant feed for future beeding dreamers
• Sloth feed for the wanna bees
• Anaconda feed if they dare for the rich
• Camel feed (for night time dreamers)
• Panda feed for the lazy
• Wheat for the feed do-it-yourselfer
• Of course lettuce
• carrots
• hay
• a few apples but not many as few will need until after the event
• BBD will bring the need for lots of animals for breeding

Poo? hahaha If I scan and see someone's priced wrong for impatience I sure will make a coin or two off of their work.

And the music is already playing as the band winds down from the fruit fiasco

 

broke, I just knew you had back up plans I just noticed in the FAQ it says when gifting farmers will receive 2 nublons instead of 1 Thanks dafodily for doing the math I tried earlier What a strain on my brain I came up with needing about 600 more Nublons and only using 716 PF's If I had to explain my math and how I arrived at my answers, the teacher would probably have a headache Now to go check my FSQ's to see which ones have the Droid still available.....he's going to get a good workout

 

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Will you stop telling people these things? Folks think they need all those chickens and are paying wild sums for chicken feed.

You look to your stores did you see a dip? Quick you run, check it out.... the wheat, it's falling out!
Run you must, run you will, it takes 1684 Nublon Snails!!!!

Do you have enough? better measures it up, come quick, best hit the market and quick!
What to get what to get, them numbers be a climbing quick, best to not waste time grab it all and grab it quick!

Wheat over here just in case, them chickens use like in haste.
What you think we will need more? stomp your foot I thought we stored more...
Quick, snag the monkey chow, bunny pellets and more we can't miss out on the far flying scores!
So quick as you can, plan in hand, get to the market CC in hand.

I have to do 12 hours pens, have RL and can't do Chickens. Even though I read the specs and it says "MEDIUM" I won't get all happy just yet, I'm still sore over the tea disaster.
But it says you breed these things to make colors? A Breeding event? really.
I have to go count my powerfeed...and take an Advil.
The skip gods always leave town whenever I open the breeding pen.
