The Fruit Market - Strategy

This Event is nearing to it end....I got All of Miscellaneous Items and only two Each of The New Trees. The Reason why i only got two New Trees each. As I have Hunch That they will not sell very High in the Markets in terms of CC

Reason is if you compare them to Very Very Rare to Rare Fruit Tree Prices in the Markets as I have one Dragon Blood Tree, Some Chequer Trees,Blackthorn Plum,Dogwood Flower, few other Rare Trees. As Dragon Blood Tree is the Best CC Selling Fruit Tree in my Market at 26000 cc each Fruit, As I am adding Suzy Super Grow to it every time.

I do not think that Hawthorn,Chaste,Salt Cedar or Silk Flower will be selling in the Markets as High at Dragon Blood Fruit or Bougainvillea Cluster Fruit. The Four New Fruit Trees will only be classed as Rare Trees but not Classed as Very Rare Trees. As many Farmers can Obtain these New Trees with Ease during this Event. For Those who have been hoarding Fruits, Might have Several of Them.

I am more than Happy to buy up any Hawthorn, Chaste, Salt Cedar or Silk Flowers from the Markets. But we shall have to wait to see if there will be a Quest coming soon for them. As they might end up as just like the Cork or Tilia Trees, So Far Now Quest has been asking for Them. As I am Happy to Hold onto All my Cork Trees as the Reap Exchange Value of 164 Every 12 Hours. Compared to EV of 160 every 20 hours. My Cork Trees works well with my XXL Trees around my Menagerie,and Coloured Pens and Frog Ponds.

I was thinking of Crating some Ladder Factories From Workshop to use them on Manufactory that i am about to unlock as only have 11 Hours Growing time without Production Buffs. But Bear in mind the Cost of Animal Feeds and Animals have steadily climbed in Price in my Market, Therefore the Productive Cost of using workshops is becoming more pricey the end Products are Selling in the Markets for Less than the cost of Animal Feeds and Animals needed to Start a Production Workshop.

Ladder Factory needs 1 Frog Feed = 6500 cc (Current Market Price), 3 Frogs @ 10,000 = 30.000 cc Total Production Cost is 36500 CC but i can buy Ladder Factories for 25,000 CC. Currently it is not worth getting Ladder Factory Basic, Yellow, Orange or Red All of these only Reaps 1 Ladder Factory...It is only Pink Ladder Factory Reaps 2 Ladder Factories.

The Cheese Factory is another Production Workshop currently not worth Bothering. As i can buy Cheese in the Markets cheaper than Producing them. It seem i will put my Manufactory on Hold.

It is still far better to get Coloured Animal Pens, Orange, Red, Pinks and Neon as they are Far More Productive. As me buying 128 Yellow Frog Ponds has been the Best Buy from the Stores. Since i have been playing this Game as Prices of Frogs is still making me loads of CC. Frog Breeding Prices also still very High.

As Broke is a Serious Fruit Tree Hoarder WOW 160 Million Fruits in his Barn, That is Turning into Fruit Juice as they are no where near the Exchange Value they are Worth At

I do not think the Price of Any Fruits will Cool Down that much after this Event. As Broke as said it all depends on Exchange Values....As it does not make Sense to buy Fruits in the Markets that is worth More than the Exchange Values. As Apples, Plums and Walnuts are already selling in the Markets more than the Exchange Values. Meaning Demands exceeds Supplies ....

 

The end of another event, it all seems quite hectic at the moment.

In the end I got all the miscellaneous items plus 3 x Hawthorn, 3 x silk tree, 2 x Chaste tree and 2 x Salt cedar tree; very pleasing.

On to the next event which I may dabble into

 

At last after tremendous & tiring effort I got the sticker for 1 starcoin. With this finished the event.

 

At the time of post the farm had earned over 160 M on tree fruit sales. Now it is up to over 177 M.

Actual tree fruit in the barn is about 11.5 M .

We need a thread on this EV topic. I find it does make sense to buy Apples, Plums and Walnuts even though they are above their EV. It depends on why one is buying. In the current event some were paying nearly two times the EV of some tree fruit. They had to it if they wanted it!

EV is the only set number in this game that cannot be manipulated (some argue ep but we can manipulate ep to a lessor extent.)

I finished. I decided to save the barn and pick up only one of every tree and the misc. items.

 

I was able to get 2 sets of trees and due to filling my farm with my highest EV trees and their XXL upgrades, along with Pineapple cake for tropical trees, I was able to have more fruit in my barn at the end of the event than when I started. While I would have loved to have additional trees, I am trying to find a balance between preparing for HH and doing events. These events in July are definitely putting a wrinkle in finding that balance.

 

I finished up with 3 sets of trees and all the misc. I've already started to find the tree fruit in my market. I was amazed at just how high the prices got on some of the fruit....even the lower EV ones, apples, plums, etc.
Hopefully everyone was able to get something that made you happy.

 

I got 2 sets of the new trees and all the rest rewards except for the sticker. I got all the rewards by donating my tree fruit and not with drops. Maybe I got around 2 or 3 coins with my drops but not more.
I am very dissatisfied we had all these events in a row and there was no time to prepare our farms properly for each one.

I agree with you Arielh. Drops weren't very useful and no time to prepare for next events.

Me too! Leaves a very bad taste in my mouth if you get my drift. A couple of days between events is not too much to ask for.

I only purchased one of each tree. Didn't feel the need to go any further.
