    Howdy Farmers,

Please post your constructive comments, positive and negative, regarding the mini events going on in July 2016, in this Feedback thread.

Please be sure to bring arguments for supporting your statements, simple comments saying you like it or hate it will not help the Team understand what goes great, and what needs to be looked into, when planning future mini events.

If you have any questions, please use the General Issues section or the Technical Issues section for technical problems - this thread is for feedback only. Thank you for understanding.

We are looking forward to your feedback!
    Best regards,
    Your Farmerama Team

Thank you for the advance "Preview" of the Gift and Trade mini event. I know things can change but it is nice to be able to make some plans for this wonderful event. I already have started my lists of things I want and things I am willing to trade for those items. :)

July seems to be a very busy month for mini events and I second BlackCaviar it is very helpful to have and advanced warning for us working people to prepare for the much liked G&T event :inlove:. But I would like to make a suggestion (and I apologize now if this is not the right thread :p) but cramming so many events into a month when the majority of players are going to be on holiday and the game is not foremost on their minds (of course I am speaking for myself ;)) might not have been a very good move for the team?

First of all - thanks for the decent warning about gift and trade.
Farmwheel workshops edition - so I checked my wheel and discovered a yellow chicken egg, yellow goat dairy and another 2 yellow workshops. For me there is no incentive to spin for an increased chance at one of those. Entice me in - give me something red or Darwin forbid, something pink and I might actually invest and spin.

I have yet to see a workshop in the "jackpot" position. Let alone any workshop I would spin for in any position. I don't think this Farmwheel Fun days is any fun at all. It is certainly living down to my expectations of the recent events in the game. A non-event.

The Farmwheel Fun days never really look much different to me from regular spins - and I play nearly every day.

I believe the continuing problem with the wheel is between what newer players would be excited over vs. veteran players. There is a vast difference between beginning farms and those with well established farms at levels 80 and above.

I also had yellow pens and workshops offered the last few times; as well as red punch, yellow pear jam, langos, plum tree, bread roll, orange cowshed, snowy rabbit, egg farm, cow dairy, shearing shed, EP, CC, SG, PF and lots of turbo mulch. Only once have I seen a pink pen in the last couple of months (and actually won it:D);but I rarely see the newer pagoda, harvest coupons or bonus harvest prizes.

Therefore, I never buy the party tickets; that way, whatever I get is basically a "freebie" rather than something I paid out to receive. And I always wait for something nicer to appear before spinning, though often I just get some EP or low value prize even then.

Please consider a change in the prize pool for players according to level groups - removing or reducing occurrences of "prizes" the higher levels simply don't need or want. IMHO, I believe you would get a great deal more interest in party spin purchases.

I finally saw a workshop as the jackpot prize. I didn't win it but I did see it and it wasn't even a yellow. I only did the spin because it was a ladder and I wanted to see if I could get a chance at the newest birdhouse next spin. Didn't. Didn't spin again either. I don't have any incentive to spin for workshops because when you win an upgrade for a workshop, you still need to build the base. Anything except a Pink workshop upgrade (except in two cases and those have never been on the Party Wheel to my knowledge) only results in one product for your time, feed and animals. Not what I call a great Party prize.

I'm fed up of seeing the Pagoda Birdstone and the Skipping Scarecrow, as the top prizes. :(:(

I will not be wasting my precious Party Spins on red workshops:mad:

A bit more variety please. A pink workshop would be wonderful. :)

I was hoping for a separate pick-a-tree feedback thread, but don't see one.
I am disappointed by this one. I had thought there would be a new pen introduced. However, seeing how its operating, I am now glad there is none. I like that there is a chance to get a couple rare orange pens, but the rest is pure junk to me. Its just not worth spending real money/BB on these chances. If I am going to spend money, I much prefer the guaranteed packs. Its not just that I am guaranteed a new stable, but there is a greater chance of getting "good" stuff. Even though we have been getting a lot of yellow upgrades, at least other upgrades are available for our regular stables. This way... its just rare pens that for many of us no longer seem very rare.

I use to look forward to the party wheel, giving up willingly in my starbuck needs. But as time has gone on, I had no willingness to spend RL money. I have only seen 1 pink, I still see 1 turbo, yellow, and frog stalls? we just had an event were I am sure we all bought enough of them but oh look I won 3 more plain ones-.-
As said so well, you set the other things by level, XXX ep x your level, why not the same here? I still need the common as seasoned players say but it is getting thin in needs, and getting thin in the chance I will buy anymore tickets.

    ~Edit to add~
I agree, why do we have to put up with top prizes we have enough of and that we can never trade? I really do not need anymore scarecrows or older birdhouses just to sit around and keep the dusty flowers company.
After some time how about a turn on? one to make me say lookie I'II get a ticket or two to win a pink red workshop or some out side another untradeable extra.

I used to really look forward to G&T events but it is such a disappointment to realise that we get just one Gift Licence per day. I have lots of things that I would love to give to those who are just starting out or just can't get this particular item in the usual way. But with one Gift Licence a day, I will be mainly ignoring this event. :(

I have said it before and I will repeat - why can't we have Licences that cover all types of gifting and trading then we can make up our own mind how we use our licences. At least with three Licences each day, we might be able to have a little fun with them. But one a day is so demoralising!

Well, somehow I missed that memo!! :(:wuerg: That kind of takes the fun out of it. I feel bad for the newer and lower level players trying to build up their farms bc ours is such a generous and helpful community when it comes to helping each other and now this will put a damper on that:(:(

    G&T Event Bug

I had similar problems. Someone offered a howie donout for 1 tiered cake III level. I had the tiered cake III level, the license to trade and the exchange arrow was green but when I clicked it, I got the answer, "not enough goods". So I tried placing it as my offer. It didn't allow me to put my offer. Once again I got the answer "not enough goods". I tried all ways, logging in logging out, clearing cache, logging into other account & then to this account etc... Then I contacted the support. But the offer is gone. Someone else got it. So no good is going to come out of contacting the support. I sent a mail to support to close my ticket.

Also there was an offer that gave Bee pen IV Pink for XL Candy Cane. I had an XL Candy cane. But couldn't exchange. The same problem.

There is no next time for me in this case.

So I lost 2 good offers. Especially the howie. That makes me feel a little sad. Same thing happened for some other items in previous G&Ts. Something should be done to avoid these error. Do something to avoid them in next G&T Event.

Hope this reaches the ears and strikes the minds of the Farmerama Game team.

I understand glitches happen, but to say "try next time" --- that just does not work.

It also seems as if when this happens through no fault of a user, then we ought to be refunded our licenses. in my case, there was nothing lost, but if I had promised someone something and could not come through, then its not just that the trade did not work, the other party would lose a ticket and I would lose one in returning the item I could not accept.

I know these gift trades are not official, but this is not a user problem, its a farmerama one.

This is also why we need more ways to trade, beyond our individual markets. After a few G & T there just are not a lot of desirable offers.

Hi 12ss12, just some info to you and others to avoid future disappointment.

The items you tried to trade are most likely upgraded items, meaning you placed the upgrade on a base item and they are now stuck together. You can test if it is an upgraded item or just the upgrade by trying to place it on a field. If you can, it is an upgraded item.

Upgraded items are not tradeable, so the offer was for the upgrade only. That the trade anyway shows up with a green arrow is of course unfortunate :(
