Shipwreck Summer - Strategy

This is a Six Day Event. At First we are Allocated only 10 Buckwheat. We need to Nuke These Buckwheat using 2x2 Fields (Using; Water, Manure, Super Grow, Suzy Super Grow), With CAC Running in Diamond Slot Buff. For Every 2x2 we gain +9 Event Crops. As we need to Build up 776 Buckwheat for Seeding the Four Fields we are Allowed to Plant these Seeding.

Bahamarama [188 x 1x1 Fields]
Glade [184 x 1x1 Fields]
Green Meadow [202 x 1x1 Fields]
Main Field [202 x 1x1 Fields]

Total Fields to Plant Buckwheat is 776. Therefore Harvesting 776 Fields with CAC Running Gives 3104 Buckwheat but you have to removed 776 Buckwheat for Seeding these Four Fields per Harvest. Gaining 2328 Buckwheat per Harvest As you need to do this At least 9 Times to Make 74 Fish Foods. But have to Do about 12 Harvest of Buckwheat Enough to Get All The Prizes But no need to Grow Enough Buckwheat to grow to unlock all Seaweeds using Fish Food !

With Manure bound to get Expensive during this Event. Just using Water Takes fours Hours to Grow. On Average can grow about 2328 x 4 Harvest of Buckwheat Totaling 9312 Buckwheat in 24 Hours. I have made an Allowance of Idle Time Lost of 8 Hours per Day for unable to Harvest during the Night or RL Preventing to Harvest on Time.

Therefore to Reap Enough Buckwheat Crops to make 74 Fish Food will Take Roughly 3 Days. As we will have Three Days Spare to do this Event Give or Take.

It would make lots of Sense to have Good Drop Rate of Crops overnight on Three Fields such as Roses Refinements. But will Cannot Grow Roses overnight on Bahamarama Field But Hibiscus is an 8 Hour Crop it is a Flower Crop. Using Water will Suffice to be using in Conjunction with Roses Refinements overnight.

Since we cannot use Rain Forest for This Event we can Grow 41 Fields of Animal Stables to Help us Make Manure to help speed up growing time of Event Crops.

Overnight Alternative

If you are Happy to Use Super Grow and Suzy Super Grow, Using Comfort Fields Overnight. As Each Suzy Super Grow used rewards you with +4 Event Crops in Each Comfort Field, Comfort Field Takes 4 times longer to Grow Totaling 20 Hours. This is Reduce to 16 Hours using Water. Then using Super Grow will Reduce this to 8 Hours Ideal as Overnight Alternative as Using Suzy Super Grow is most effective with Comfort Fields.

On Added Note Using Comfort Fields Actually Almost Double Drop Rate of Drops and Tools per Harvest of Comfort Fields, Compared to Normal Fields !! Using White Innocents Makes Super Grow 60% Effective Reducing Comfort Fields to Well under 8 Hours !!

We are able to Get a Second Lot of EP/TEP of Forgotten Hoard, Deep Water Diving and Squawk Pieces of Eight. As we are also able to get EP/TEP Givers from Ocean Day Event....They are Fishy Friend, Clean Team and Mermaid Pics For Those of you Needing Giver Items.

Yes, I was still here when they made the slots tho. So should have remembered. Made the event "too easy" it was claimed, meaning it was doable

 

Will we get the event drops from the rain forest ... even though we can not use this field in the event for growing the crops?

 

I think your numbers may be out when using CAC. They are correct with PJ.
CAC gives 4 per 1 invested. Thus 776 acres result in 3,104 (or 2,328 net after another planting)
Thus total per day with 3 harvests is +/- 6,984, meaning three days are enough to get 19,980...

 

Drop not from rainforests. But did I read that we can plant on Bahama ?

From FAQ: "

• There will be a special event crop:

Plantable from level 2+ on the 3 main lands (main farm, green meadow, magical glade) and Bahamarama (not available on Rainforest!) "

So it will play some part in the event

 

While waiting, check out your FSQs and see if there are any that have Harvester as prizes ... you never know. There were a lot added while you were away from the farmstead!

 

Bhodho...Thanks for Pointing out my mistake as i miscalculated due to lack of Coffee I have Corrected my posting and Reword it a bit I hope that is suffice now. I not normal make mistakes like this perhaps my age is showing as i will be 50 by end of Month LOL

 

I've just worked out a route I want to take and realised there are lots of dead ends that don't go anywhere helpful and some back tracking I need to do, as well as brief side shoots to get my special things. I think that apart from the large number of crops and drops needed, finding an efficient way through this maze will play a big part.

I remember a similar but much simpler event some time ago where you could see the whole maze in one page. Oh for those days!

one small note... #1 only requires carrots and gives Supergrow (the green), so will be worthwhile for many to complete.

How's everybody's drops ? Mine was 44 - so this will be hard work

 

I set off 24 hour ones for my two main (and participating) farms - I figure, I have to lose some time, it might as well be one night as opposed to a bit of two nights. Think I have just enough coupons on this farm to get me through ... really hoping for a half price harvester sale (not that I have that many BBs but every little helps!).

 

Got 104 baitworms
So far i have got 3 fields filled with buck wheat ...see what drops i get from those tomorrow ...if i dont get many will do refined carnations over night ,,keeping my fingers crossed

What did you harvest ?

I got 181 drops from my first harvest. Still have 15 comfort fields of roses, broccoli & Turkish Melissa to harvest.

 

Got 101 Baitworms initial Trees harvests. Badly timed...

I used 1x1s and planted carnations barly and a cple other long growing crops but I planted pretty close to the same thing on my other farm and got a few more drops there so I should use comfort fields overnight? with roses broccoli and Turkish Melissa?
