Shipwreck Summer - Strategy

40% done going for the cloud row now. I finally got all 3 givers for my ocean day cloud row. Also got 2 of the 3 givers for the current CR.

 

Got everything I wanted, progress bar shows 77%, but I'm done

I think the only working strategy to finish this event is to spend RL money...

 

I for one wont be paying to finish this event ...in my book what is being given as rewards isn't worth it to me
I don't even want to finish this event anymore ...it's become a pain and a waste of my time ...I haven't found the fun aspect in this event ...BUT have found grueling

Does anyone have a good strategy for getting the extra new givers?

 

I have finished and got cloudrow with items,all powerfeeds & few others including stickers. It says 70 %. Have some more crops & if I get more drops, I might go for the extra ep givers.

Got the cloud row and done here. Not going for anymore and now I shall watch as my farm gets overwhelmed by excess drops!

64% done and I got the cloud row up and running! and had enough drops and buckwheat to get 2 extra givers!
I have some extra BW and if I get more drops I will see what else I might get , but I must THANK ChayaAvery for the strategy that she posted early on, because without it I would NEVER have figured it all out! Congrats to all who made it through the sea weed and Happy Farming to all!

 

54% done and have the CR with the set of givers to activate it. Have picked up some of the easiest goodies along the way and will attempt a few more but if I don't get anything else, I won't be upset.

 

I still think buckwheat should be used like my grandma did, cooked in milk as cereal.
After, as more often than I like to admit, harvesting without CAC, I finale have enough for the CR. Now, let's see how often I can get lost in that sea maze.

I finally got the Last of the baitworms i needed to get the remaining prizes. So i got All of The Prizes Eventually. As there was no rush to complete this Event. All Surplus Drops and Junk Crops would not be that much of a Help to Me. Did not seem to be much point for me to waste any additional Super Grow to finish this Event too early.

I did not bother with Poo Farming as it does not do much good with High Amount of Baitworms, needed for this Event. Even if not doing this Event. Due to increasing Price of Animal Feeds and Costs of Milling Animal Feeds has to be deducted out of Poo Farming

I Actually make more CC Growing Corn or Oats using Refinements. Growing Them. Harvest Corn or Oat using CAC. As +1 Vegetable Cloud Row Every 48 Hours. Effective only for 24 Hours.

I Actually use my mill to Mill the best selling Animal Feed in terms of CC profits. The Other Reason i do not do poo farming any more. Such as Milling Chicken Feeds. As I make more CC selling Animal Feeds than consuming Animal Feeds.

I surprised myself by being laid back with this Event. This Event is now done.

waste some fish feed, lucky I still could got the giver & CR, now only left two mini prize

Well, it was a nail biter to get the CR - very late to do the last needed harvesting because of RL issues! Thankfully, the CR is up, and enough left over for a few extra goodies! Would like to add my thanks to ChayaAvery for the very nice chart! Congrats to all getting their chosen items!

 

I have achieved all of my main goals except for one, but I am 1 worm short with nothing left to harvest. All well, I got a lot out of this event. Congratulations to everyone who achieved their goals.

EDIT: Thanks to the generosity of some wonderful fellow farmers I just received enough worms to finish. Thank you very much.

 

I decided (a bit late) to try for the 100% but came up 340 crops short... so finished on 98%. My thoughts were that someone went to a lot of trouble to make All this !!
I used 623 supergrow mostly on carnations to boost drops, and used 10 on the first round and 90 on the second... and 10 suzys supergrow on the first round.... So it could be done !!!
