    Hello! I come to this thread often only to reread how others are preparing. The uncertainty is obvious among us all. Everyone has been quite inspirational to me.

    Simply keep going! I know many experience periods when sick of preparing for an event which may never come yet has historically been annual. I know game direction changes have caused changes in strategy. Your preparation is not wasted.

    Certainly many have concern with tree fruit acquisition rate if using tree fruit primarily as the final competition donation. When this farm finished 19th nearly two years ago a rate of 22.5% of EV was used to acquire. When the mud_pie_man farm finished 14th last year a rate of 42% of EV was used. At present, the farmer_broke farm is presently acquiring all tree fruit at 50% of EV and is able to acquire very very very little now. The farm is not so quick to raise its donation buy rate but I am presently considering making an increase. (Increases for my farms tend to be permanent and therefore I am very hesitant.)

    At this time I recommend beginning to slowly gather a stock of ccs which are earmarked for last minute purchases.

    Moments ago the farm was able to acquire nearly one million ccs worth of tree fruit. Using a rate of not more than 50% that is approximately two million EV worth of tree fruit. All of it was BAHA tree fruit: Acquired were: cocoa bean, avocado, papaya, lychee. jacote, and acai berry. (Farms were selling to a market working the BAHA menagerie quest. Demand should cause price increases as supplies in barns fall. Not raising buy rate just yet here!)
