Only one small matter: The price can be low but it must resemble something reasonable. If not, the game team reps will have a good case against me for pushing and I da need that action. But there are a large number of gooseberries on the market at about half price.

 

Results are in, and I did pretty well on initial drops - 190 here and 186 on bearbabe. Just getting seeds started, and will plant mostly straight event crops for the next three days as our schedule will be erratic, and will worry about getting drops later. Love instant carnations for that!

 

If you switch tracks, does anyone know if you get both prizes or just one? And if one, do you get the one from the track you started on or the one you finished on?

 

you only get the prizes for the track you are on you get the prizes as you move along on that track and if you switch in the middle then you get the ones you passed over on first track then what you pass over after you switch on 2nd track the main prizes you get from which ever track you are on when you get to them hope this helps

A major broke strategy change!

While everybody is racing along in their fine vehicles, the decision was made to get out the tricycle. Not 10 but 15 whole 1x1's will be allocated to this event.

My goal is to get the farm one power feed for old time sake. I'll use it to give a cuckoo a treat and harvest the pen after a week. That cuckoo is lucky.

I have only 150 drops because of my late start... Today there was a general internet problem in the island and we all didn't have access in the morning so again a late start today
But I know I can't complete it so I just try to go as far as I can

Don't really need the sunflowers ...BUT as you are participating in the hoedown and probably needing to reach the target...i don't mind helping if i can ... will be nice to see you win ...i will buy them

I have got 54 pitomba & 60 goji that have an EV value of 444... and 100 Moringa pods at 400 EV... don't mind selling these..they are out all the time so will be easy to make up.... IF you want them Just tell me a sensible price Broke

Haven't got time to do the workings out ... Found the computer i wanted and bought it yesterday and am updating and putting all my programs on and finding out where every thing is ...between doing this event ...be a miracle if i finish it

You guys! This wasn't at all clear from the FAQ, and it looks like I'm not the only one who assumed wrongly, but:

It DOESN'T cost an extra biofuel to switch lanes!

I've just tried it on the first track, and switching lanes takes you to the other lane and one step forward. One XXL and one regular fuel has left me in the top lane and seven steps completed. The only way that you lose out is that regular biofuel is less efficiant to make.

This means there's absolutely no cost for limited switching, as you have to make some regular biofuel anyhow. From Escalonilla's calculations:

All those regular biofuels you have to mill anyway are free switches, so race 2 is the only one without any.

You can 'buy' six switches by changing one XXL to six regular fuels, which I calculate will only cost you 30 Camelina, 4 fuel cans and 22 sunflowers. Much much cheaper than I thought!

 

Sorry if this has been dealt with - but if you use an xxl biofuel at the end of a race do you 'overshoot' into the next one? They look as if they are contiguous but still ...
