I am half way though L4 and waiting for drops too. I think I will now only grow junks on baha and let the chickens and geese out on mainland. Plenty of time left and might as well help a few farmers with manure

 

....Finally Made a Start of Flying Pigs.....

I got to Half way to Amount of Fuel Cans needed to complete all Five Races, As I am now on my Last Harvest of Camelina Junk Crops. I am Please to get these out of the way quickly.

Yes it does cost us a Bio Fuel to Switch Lanes. As I have written down how to spend my Bio Fuels, XL XXL either the Top of Bottom of First Race.

I do not mind that i will be needed more Fuel Cans than i planned. Just need to Make Sure I have Grown Enough Camelina Crops would be my concern. So Just to be on Safe side i might need to grow more Camelina. Just need how many more i might need.

I have just harvested my last Camelina I Hope....Now I have put Leeks and Habanero out in my Fields they will be ready to Harvest by Tonight i have used Leek Refinements and 4% and 6% Vegatable Growing Time Alchemist Crafts. Which does has it uses only at times

I finished the first Race and now I need to decide who to race next. I really like the fish so I think I am going to try for it. The rewards of the top lane are better because of the PF so if I want them I should use 1 biofuel to move up at the beggining? Or I can do it later?

Being bothered with work so I put 1,000 fish on a hook (1 listing) and going for that Big Fish too.
Can't hold the pole so I'll check later. Hope that Big Fish doesn't take the pole too!.

On second thought, that Big Fish can have the pole too.

You explained quite well what easily happens when simple errors are made. I can add:

• There is no possible way the correct the error. The potential income will be forever foregone, forever as there is no regrouping.

To make matters even worse :

• I did not even harvest the corn nearly on time in order to try and receive any benefit from the error. (And I can already hear you laughing at the stupidity of the whole matter )

Many actually throw ccs away quite often and even habitually.

• Some will pay fortunes for manure which in effect completes production early. BUT the farmer will not harvest nearly on time and loose all benefit. The farmer may as well not have used manure at all.
• The same holds true for water use.

Now with three times as many drops as crops I don't have concern with achieving my goal of one pf.

Okay, finally harvested my last camelina crops, have 647 fuel can drops from growing nothing but event crop last 3 days, meaning I averaged roughly 200 per day. If you take into consideration the first 190 were from the start of the event and my long term drop crops, and the rest came from event crop and a few trees, not too shabby. Now I will concentrate on getting the remaining 400 drops with long crops and a round or two of instant carnations if necessary, and hope to finish the event by Saturday evening. Still have to find some time tomorrow to plot my course and file my flight plans. Hope everyone's having fun with the event and G&T!

 

I think I am going to need the insant carnations. I have the refirenment to reduce 12% of the time. This will be my first time to use them.
So I place super fields and use super grow and water. Do I have to do anything else?

 

Comfort fields, white innocence, fruitcake, flower cloud row, chestnut CR, water, manure, & SG.

 

Sorry Arielh, but the 12% time reduction won't help you much The refinement you need is the SG love (increase effectiveness of SG by 25%).

Sorry Arielh, but you don't have the magic one yet It is the one with super grow and a clock (the seventh one). Do you bye any chance have the super grow refinement for roses?

Okay, readying my course of action. I understand that if I overshoot, I lose any steps over the amount I have to take (ie. use XXL for 6 steps, only need 5, so 1 is lost). That being said, am I better off to lose that one step, or use XL and regular to complete the race? Also, in looking closer at the race requirements, where it says, for example, level 1, 3 event steps, level 2 3 event steps, does that mean that 1 XXL will only take me to level 3?

Never mind, figured out the last part myself.

yep, you lose them, best if you count them little squares, xxl 6 spaces etc less used more lane changes you can do better use.
youcan use xxl right to the end of every race there you will on some races have to count squres to use reg or xl fuel, I used xxl right to the end of every race then counted to use the others worked.

 

Thanks, ming. Another question; I know there was some question as to whether the bat plane giver and the raccoon plane giver had the names switched. I haven't had time to read all the thread - has it been determined if this is the case, and if so, which race is the bat plane in? I want to get it before anything of the others, in case I should run out of time to finish completely.

 

Do race 1 then you will have a choice of the others, just click on race 4 to grab the bat!!!

I did on ming, race 1, then 4 the bat then 3 the fish stopped here waiting on drops.

Oh and just like on the neons we get that cool pop up asking you if you are sure you want to use said fuel as you will lose XX, I like that pop up.
