    All done :)
For me, the refined roses made all the difference in drops numbers. Planted them in comfort fields overnight, with water, manure and supergrow they were just over 9 hours, I think. Perfect for overnight. I kept some higher level animal pens and workshops on the glade all event long, which gave me enough manure over a few days, but I did have to buy a smallish amount. I didn't mind that, but I guess I could've put some chickens or cuckoos there, to avoid buying at inflated prices.;) Anyway, that's what worked for me.

Finito!:) Finished up my races, got the CR, now time to grow crops I actually need while CAC still active:p. Didn't have to resort to insta-carnations, which makes me happy, because as my mother always said, an SG saved is an SG earned.;)xD Will finish shortly on bearbabe, just need 2 more XXL biofuels, I think it was. For the life of me, I can't figure out why lately I can finish the "hard" events with time to spare, even when more than 1/2 of the event days are sporadic farming, but the "medium" events are beyond me, no matter how much time I have to devote:wuerg:. What I wouldn't give for an "easy" event for a change, or even, heaven forbid, a break from events for a short bit.

For those still working on drops, I found kohlrabi to be a good intermediate drop producer - I got 23 on main field, 30 on the green meadow, and 21 from the magic glade. With water, it's about 11 hrs. 35 min., so if you're wanting a crop that's not too long and not too short but still gives reasonable drops, that might help (ditto onions).

This is where I am too!! I have 5 XXL fuels but I haven't started yet. I can't choose to get the orange bear or the owl.
    What will you choose?

I went with the orange bear myself, as I got an orange owl from mystery stables. The orange bear seems to be a bit more difficult to get, at least for me.:p

I went for orange bear. Bear is of higher level than owl & orange bear give us more EP than orange owl. Also bear are now selling better than owl. And as spotsbox said they are difficult to get.

    Hi Nellie,
Try animal pens with buffs, you might get good drops.

Nellie_Noodles I also don't know if I will finish race 5 because of drops...

I will go for the bear thanks for the advice:inlove: I also checked my barn and I saw I have more than 1000 owls:wuerg: and only 360 bears. And the orange bear is more beautifulxD;)

    What kind of buffs 12ss12?

Good luck to those who are still working. With still a full day left of the event, you can do it!

I finished on both farm last night. Here on pnp, I did not use the Rainforest at all and did not rip out every field. Some portion of the fields was devoted to the event but some items are permanent fixtures. I left out my jumbo trees, my Orange jumbo horse, badgers and the storage facilities as well as a few trees along the edges. My crops and drops stayed about even.

On BW, I grew on all fields and was done with crops and had to wait on drops. This farm would have finished before pnp except I made a milling mistake in the timing of the fuels and had to wait for feed that was in progress (wasn't going to cancel when there was still plenty of time).

BW got a Classic II elephant and pnp a Red panda (upgrade).

Ariel - I went for the orange bear on both of my farms because I didn't have very many bear pens and the orange gives me 2.

Ι just got the orange bear and now I am in half way to the finish line!
I think I need one or two more harvests of the event crops and there is still time so I am very optimistic:)

    Finished.
Arielh, Glad you are going to finish this event.

cheese balls- animal pen - speeds up 5 %
    valentine pot - animal -10%
    eggnog - animal pen -5 %
    gingerbread - workshops - 5%
    guava jam - workshop 5%

If you have cloudrows that speeds up the production of animal pens & workshops, you can activate them & also these buffs (We have only two slots so we have to decide which two products we are using).

    or

you can go for supergrows + white innocence, fruit cake + refined roses or carnation (if you don't have all the refinements, just try one field with the refinements you have & find out the time for growth 7 then decide whether its beneficial or not ) + normal field/ comfort fields+ water + Manure + scarecrow cloudrow if you have them (but not a must)

If anyone has leftover crops, don't forget the exchange after the event!! You can still make a little extra ep/tep/cc's by milling them into fuels;);):p:D
    Reg Biofuel 540 ep &cc, 200 tep
XL Biofuel 1520 ep & cc, 570 tep
XXL Biofuel 2910 ep & cc, 1090 tep

I am close to halfway (ok so it's more of a 1/3) in race 5  No idea how that happened. I think, I hope that I am 6 xl fuels + 1 small fuel can short as of now to complete. That should be 124 drops, unless I calculated it wrong. Which is a huge risk, I keep doing that.

I am done with the event. In the end, converted back to my regular pens and got enough drops.

Doc, want to thank you for the advice again. I planted Carnations overnight in one field with water, manure and SG and Raspberries in the other. Received 1/3 of the drops I needed from that harvest and then did the same this a.m. I am happy to report I have finished the 5th race. Now I have time to plant regular crops, especially the ones for feed as I am getting quite low.
