    Oh Oh,

I just leveled up my first rascal.. and now I have to level up all the others first before going one up with it?

That's a real hook!! Means I have to wait with everything else, until the event crops are ready
I definitely don't like this!!:wuerg: even when I :inlove: the event in total

Just did a bit of a calculation presuming the numbers of event crops are not rising with the levels:
up to level 2 as per event already done/to see:

    1350Glitter poppies
    900 Gingerbreads
    900 Lollipops
    1350 Balloons

    presume up to level 4:
    900 Glitter Poppies
    1350 Gingerbreads
    1350 Lollipops
    900 Balloons

up to level 6 another amounts as per level2
up to level 8 as per level 4
up to level 10 as per level 2
up to level 12 as per level 4

    So in total
    5850 Glitterpoppies
    5400 Gingerbreads
    5400 Lollipops
    5850 Balloons

PLUS all the requested normal crops (where I don't know, what they could be.

Its only a thought at the moment.

    Any other idea??

EDIT: sorry, this is wrong!! as all three event crops needed are only giving 7 steps in a level and we need 5 steps more. This means, we need even more!!!!!

Who the heck said, this is level "medium" ??? :wuerg::wuerg::wuerg:

    Happy Farming and good luck

Thanks clonahmon for pointing out that you have to level each rascal up before you can continue with the first one. After having a look at the requirements for my first level-up I just have one question... Will the crops remain the same with each level that you go up? For example: If they require Orchid, Lilac and Lavender for leveling up 1 rascal, will it again require Orchid, Lilac and Lavender for level 2 of that same rascal, or different crops? For me personally, the crops they chose are the ones that I don't have in excess in my barn so I'll have to plant (or buy) in order to level up and with the junk we have to plant I'm not sure I'll be able to manage...

    Anyone have any idea?

Hi, Brakenjan84, if you read again FAQ, you will know that, the requirement of each animal is:
either Lv 1is event crop then come to barn stuff(like goat) or
Lv 1 come flower first then event crop(like pig), we don't know if Lv 3 will repeat Lv 1's requirment
since you need to finished Lv 2 with event crop..
Unless some farmer had done Lv 2, otherwise, we had to wait for the answer.

Took a few million for pocket change to buy the distressed farms' junk and got out. All kinds of ccs available. This farm is out and not taking part.

BUT .... the new farm ..... named in memory of those being dogged ..... slimy_rascal_broke ...... wow, truly living up to the name. At level four (4) it picked up 7,713 christmas ornaments for .10. On whatever market it is on, that is over 6,500,000 .

AND another 1,100 trees of some kind. It can pick up 100 ccs each. Again for .10 .

That farm is an infant and for sure it is real slimy. I don't think anyone will be sending any neighbor invites to that farm.

Thanks dnin21cent. I'll keep an eye on everyone else's responses. I've planted the event crops but I'll see if I plant them again after they are ready for harvest.

    hmpf... new calculation
each level has 12 steps per animal
for each 2nd level (either lvl1 or 2) of each animal you need 1800 event crops (4*450 with 3 steps each or 6*300 with two steps each or a combination of them)to fulfil all 12 steps to level up.

1800*4 animals*6 levels (half of 12, as other half is normal crops) = 43.200 event crops????
    I MUST be wrong....

I managed to earn two rewards, 1k cc and 1k TEP with high level crops I had in abundance in my barn. Now I'm blocked on all four levels, unless I grow junk. I'm out. Work's a mess the rest of this week anyway.

    Good luck, farmers! :)

No, you are not wrong clonahmon. That is the worst case scenario. I think the favourite treat of the animals change from level to level, so sometimes only 300 crops would be needed to advance 3 steps. My guess is that we'll need between 30k and 40k event crops. On only 3 fields this is a lot harder than the previous "hard" event :sleepy:

What annoys me most is having to rip up my magical glade -.-

    Thanks Mir85.
If we presume43.200 is correct (or nearly there), the changes between 300 and 450 event crops are levelling out (all event crops in the same amount at the end) this would mean 10.800 of EACH..ouch ouch

Ok...enough of calculations... I will just try to get as far as I can.....

Not such a charming event after all :sleepy: Lots of junk needed. 4 event crops, 3 fields...8)-.- and there is some things I'm just not willing to remove from my glade. I'll start on the 2 longest crops first....that's what I'm being asked for...then switch when I get bored of them. :p
Farmer broke, you slimy rascal ;) nice finding all those great deals :D I'm off to the markets xD

I am thinking maybe the pererred event crop for each animal stays the same, and it would be the 450 crop. 3 animals seem to enjoy the Glitter poppy the most. Glitter poppy takes 4h to grow. So 32 400 for those, and 10 800 for that balloon thingie. My bottleneck is probably the normal crop. And I got worried when someone said in feedback they didn't have the required level to even do the first animals. Makes me worried even if I do put down all the time and effort can't finished

Oh well, can only do my best

Three of mine like the balloons the most and one the gingerbread. (up to level 2 of the event)

Looks like, as if every player-level has different ones....

and I wanted to like the event..I really wanted to like it...

Well, this event seems to be .......what am I to say....I can't find the apt words..
    My strategy would be
    1. Not to think too much or plan too much
    2. If you have the crops donate. No ? then buy and donate.
    3. If you don't have CCs enough, grow the crops in the 2 left out fields and donate. Let it take its own sweet time in growing
    4. Same thing for the event crops. Grow , donate, grow, donate....
    5. Do not chase the event, finish whatever you can and be happy without straining yourself at all.

In one line, I am advising myself in one line .... "don't ever stress yourself as it is not worth spoiling your health and peace"

That's the moral of this event.8)

I will tell you a secret, I never spent a single unit of real life money in this game and I do not intend to do so in any near future. Its the duty of this game to keep me attached with the game. By attachment I mean in a healthy and happy way. Not to make me worried/ nervous, not to compelling me to login several times a day or not making me feel that only with RL money I can play the game. If the game fails to travel that direction or looses the aspect of relaxation, I have no worry. I will say goodbye. Or just login in once a while now and then to see you all.

I wholeheartedly endorse this statement or truth or fact of yours. I found out that long back. Not only with this event, with the whole concept of the events. Logging in once a day should be the criteria for completing an event. Just playing once a day should be sufficient to finish an event. But that aspect has been lost somewhere in the long journey of farmerama.

What I meant was for the harvest hoedown event. With the price rise, not many late starters will be able to stack the barn by buying or even by growing (if they do the events). So competitors might dwindle. You have a better chance is what I think (because you have done along term preparation) That's what I think. :)

Everything I said above are IMHO.

broke, Why do you want to empty your barn each year ? :p even if it be different farm ?;):p

Hi Everbody that I have not seen in forever,

I know that I will be able to finish this event since I am able to finish all except that fishy treasure chest thingy. I got the CR & some of the goodies, but not everything. I am blaming RL and not my strategy planning. HeHeHe

Any ways, I popped over here to see what you'all think of this event. I admit, I did not read every post so if someone has already pointed out what I have noticed. I apologize.

We always have 3 choices of what to donate. With this in mind, I will try to get about a 1k of each to start and then just focus on the Glitter Poppies since they are the quickest to grow. Most of the time they will be an option to donate. Every so often, I am sure they will not be an option and then we will need to donate the other crops.

    I hope this helps.

Hatzeva my dear friend, I hate to point this out, but we can't just donate from our barns. If we could, I would have this event completed in 5 minutes. We can only donate from our barns for every other level. For me, donating from my barn is a big help.

Ah some things never change! I am trilled to see you Broke with your cheerful pessimism of the follies of junk growing. We will always differ in our love of farming since I will always choice to do whatever ridiculous task BP sets for us to do. Another thing that will never change is my deep affection for you and your never ending attempts to help us see reason. HeHeHe I hope all is well in your world and please send my love to the little one.
