The event has two different tasks : a personal/individual one, and a global one. In order to qualify for the global donations prizes you need to complete personal donations task steps as well.

Personal Donations
Level 1) 60.000 barn value worth of cows and coloured cows
Level 2)60.000 barn value worth of dogs and coloured dogs
Level 3)60.000 barn value worth of geese and coloured geese
Level 4)60.000 barn value worth of fish and coloured fish

Global Donations
No need to donate anything more, the global goal has been met!
Level 1) 2.400.000.000 barn value worth of basic-coloured dogs, cows, geese and fish
Level 2) 2.400.000.000 barn value worth of basic-coloured dogs, cows, geese and fish
Level 3) 2.400.000.000 barn value worth of basic-coloured dogs, cows, geese and fish
Level 4) 2.400.000.000 barn value worth of basic-coloured dogs, cows, geese and fish​

What say guys,seems to me like totally forgetteble event
No great prizes!

 

Phew, this seems to be an event the long term players could like related to their barn contents.
But I must agree, there are not really good prizes. the stars are nice but to get all 20 stars, you need 180.000 worth of animals/breeding animals, as there are no stars to get in the first level.... Thats a lot!!

To reach 60.000 value of each animal you need
cows value: 189 each = 317.46 normal cows
dogs value 450 each = 133.33 normal dogs
goose value 45 each = 1333.33 normal geese
fish value 312 each = 192.3 normal fish


Really think, that this one is not for me.

Alternative = breeding animals to level 1
brown cow value: 1400 = 43 brown cows (uses 172 normal cow and 86 PF)
dalmation value: 2600 = 23 dalmations (uses 92 normal dog and 46 PF)
white-fronted goose value: 770 = 78 white-fronted geese (uses 312 normal goose and 156 PF)
clown fish value: 2000 = 30 clown fish (uses 120 normal fish and 60 PF)

This is when you don't have any skips!
Total PF needed: 348

Breeding animals over level 1 are less profitable/more costly per point donated. Just stick to level 1. On cow, dog and goose you might want to donate 1 breeding animal less and add a few normal animals to avoid any excess on your donations.

I expect there will be a Baby Boom during the weekend. Wait for it and make good use of the twins and normal animals you'll get. It will reduce the actual needed amounts of animals and PF!

Baby Boom event hasn't been announced yet, but if they expect us to finish this event we will need an extended one.
I think I am going to try this event but I don't want to use a lot PF. I don't have enough geese to complete without breeding so I am going to breed that animal for sure.

This is the first event in 5 plus years that I'm not really interested in. Will definitely do some breeding if we get a BB. May make some contributions, but I'm rather short of PF and we only get a bit back for the last level

 

To me the cow dog and fish are easy enough with out dumping a lot of inventory. The biggest problem is the goose with the low EV. Although I've got to say using White fronted geese makes a lot more sense then tying up my fields to use just geese. I'm in on this one.

In my market there are 0 listings for dogs and fish and cows and only 5 listings left for geese at 5500

Yes your market is cheaper. And there is breeding stock in the barns of those on your market. The maximum price is so so low that no one will bother to list. People are aware of prices on other markets. In order for that price index to move upward, there must be buying and selling and a price push. This takes time and listings and sales.

I would say the market you are on has had no demand and no one seeking to keep the index high and fair. Therefore there are no listings now. You will see them begin to appear and the maximum price move upward and people begin to become impatient and make the choice to take what they can get.

The market this farm is on is full of breeding animals and it will remain full.

On the base animal market, the goose should be the one animal where there is a real problem.

 

Am out on this one ...would sooner keep my barn as it is ... have fairy moans trees... and have 4840 pheromones in my inventory ....and can make pink jelly
so don't need those and certainly don't need the ep... i get this daily from cloud rows
Have got 10 goose stables...so they aren't rare...but will be good for stocking up

Now if the rewards were BB trees or recipes ...then I would be willing to part with some of my barn ....but for the rewards in this event ...NO way would I
