Thanks Arielh to start this thread!
I don't know what happened to BP minds to make such an event during summer vacation on northern hemisphere.o_O
I remember there was once a global donation event where it was really impossible and we couldn't meet the event requirements to get whatever prize was the last. BP chose to not give the prize, despite players efforts. I remember vividly in this forum (I believe it was still in the old forum) where one of our great fellow players (Illy, perhaps?) was mustering morale's troops to try to reach the impossible donation.

But, if at first glance I thought this one was an impossible one, after a few calculations (hope they are right) I realized it isn't that hard.

To get the cloud row it "only" needs that Farmerama have 40K accounts active and that all of those accounts donate to the first four steps, because they all count for global donation.
Now, I don't know if there are 40K accounts active. But out of more than 50M accounts created since day 1, there must be 40K active!:D I'm counting on that! ;)

So, you see, as long as we deliver the first four steps, we don't have to donate (much) further than that. It's not that hard to get the CR, is it! ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong: if the first four steps don't be fulfilled for a given account, that account won't get the global donation prizes (and probably won't count for global donation). Is this true?

Anyway, good luck to all!!! :D

I'll probably do the personal levels of this one, as have more than enough 1st level breeding stock and basic animals of everything but geese, which I have exactly enough white fronted geese to complete the requirements. I agree, the rewards aren't all that tempting to me, as pink jelly can be made or purchased cheaply, and have pheromone trees and a substantial stock of that particular product (though I do like the Put 'Em Up giver, it makes me laugh). Last year's global CR prize was much better, I thought, even tho it was straight EP/TEP, but 10,000 EP/TEP every 16 hours appeals to me as a higher level player whereas others might prefer the CR offered this time. Afraid I'm going to have to sit the global portion out, want to save PF for next neons. But I'll gladly be selling stock to those with loftier goals than me for this one.;)xD

Hi Arq :) I checked the eager beavers event from last year, which was very similar. For the global rewards we then had to have 325k complete the event. We made it then, but it was hard - many donated lots of extra and beaver breeding was introduced with that event so we had to do all the breeding, no colored beavers in the barns. Hopefully this event will be very easy in comparison :p

All donations should count towards the global goal. Regarding the global rewards:

    Hey, Mir! :D
Thanks for your clarification (and Teddy's)! :D

So every donation counts even if we don't reach all four personal steps. That's good news!! :inlove:

So what I expected to be a million sales party has turned out to be a shopping spree o_O
    Muahmuahmuahhahaha  How spooky!
What am I to do now? I will be broke soon and stuck with thousands of silly geese cause I keep clearing them....and just how stupid is that? [IMG] But I want them to go up! UP UP UP!!!! Fly high in the sky!

Not having completed an event like this before - what (if any) prep work can I do before it starts?

    Nice!
Be carefull thou, what if the bug isn't solved before the event ends?

Make sure you have enough of the basic animals in your barn. In previous posts you'll find listings of how many you need. If short, raise them on your farm or buy from the market. Good luck!

I think, the best is, to put out ALL the related stables you have on your farm, produce/have enough feed for them and loads of power feed.
Any quest in the Farmers society which gives powerfood can help. Product quests normally give powerfood on step 6 and 8. Have a look at them.]

    Hope it helps

    Happy Farming

What does '60000 barn value' mean in real terms? I currently have less than 100 of each basic and less than 2 of any coloured so what numbers am I aiming for to reach personal donations? Anyone?

Thank's for info already provided - am needing some ccs to buy more stables I think.

I wonder if all the markets are stuck. Prices don't seem to be moving much on my markets either.
If you click on your barn then choose animals from the top left drop down menu, it will show each animal type you have in your barn inventory, how many you have of that animal, and what the EV (exchange value) is as set by the game. The EV is what you're looking for, that's the barn value. Note that a crop/animal/product will almost never have the same market value as it's exchange value except when it's first released, so don't get confused by that (we all were at one time or another:p). So to get 60,000 barn value of basic cows that have an EV of 189, you need to donate 317.46 cows. Ditto with colored animals, divide the total barn value needed by the EV to get how many of that level of breeder you would need. So if you use level 1 colored cows to get your 60,000 BV, you'd need to donate 42.9 brown cows. Hope this helps and doesn't add confusion.:) And BB days are excellent time to make good CCs, as farmers breed more than just event animals. More so even during events like this where many will buy or use stock in barns to complete rather than use up power feed. My personal favorite is selling chickens, because they're cheap and quick to produce. Try not to sell in too large or too small of lots, many will skim over cheaper prices just to avoid having to click, click, click.;)

    Hi Meba.
I'm really tired of this nonsense with the game and the market. They are undoubtedly having market adjustment issues and there is no announcement. Developers know they are having them too.

Here's something really hilarious: The poop market index has been stuck at 328.81 . :D:cry::D

328.81 and there are 60 pages of offers at that price and more I cannot see.

The goose market price is set at a maximum amount and will not change here either. I have no idea what they are doing or not doing.

Who knows if the cc account is accurate today or ever was.

Makes me just want to sell every single thing for whatever I can get for it and be a junks grower and chase cloud rows like they wish us all to do.

And this kind of foolishness is exactly why I will not spend one single leaf on this game. Pay to be dogged like this? ....... naaaaah

No way will this farm do any of this event as I doubt whether donations can be counted correctly.

Gook luck to anyone who dares to fool with this event. You'll need it.

If you please have a look on earlier posts, there are the values (as in your barn) per animal. So by dividing 60.000 by the value of each animal you will get the number of animals you need (normal or breeding or a combination)

    Good Luck!

    Happy breeding

Is it even possible to complete level 3? 1300+ geese is way too much to ask for. Also it doesn't make sense that goose requires 5 hours to produce but the exchange value is only 43 compared to other animals that demands less time but offers higher exchange rate.

Anyway I'm probable skipping this event. High demand low reward. Good luck to those who are participating ;)
