I'm tryin' to get my dirt farm going along a path where it will get more bang for no bucks.
ming farm is coming up to a cross road soon, to go for the pokie and get them workshops in one building or open 2 artisan crafts.

    both:
get a start on drops, artisan will fall all over the farm with elixir and mandrakes, while on the other side get a jump on those never to be seen soon drills.
one side get field back other a time reducer...
What ways do you all see as a new path best for the farm?

@mingling this farm has decided to hold off on all artisan trades :) The requirements to level up are so massive & the stars needed to open the needed runes makes me :wuerg:
So I'll buy my needed crafting trade buffs ;) Yes that will cost CC's but I try to buy whenever I see a good price so as to have a good reserve supply :p Doesn't always happen, but that's OK. :music:

I'll have 100K trade products & enough stars to max out trade EP runes before I start any artisan trade ;) With all the stars needed to get the store houses :wuerg:  it maybe 2 years before I start any artisan tradeo_O but I'll still have access to all the buffs from the crafting trade products thru the market :D So I'll wait. :p
Just my plan, 8) it has reduced the pressure on my barn & my mental gymnastics knowing that buffs are good but not required to farm. :inlove:

I do not have any of the store houses yet. I only had a few stars when they were 1st announced. I now have 578 stars, but which to open 1st? :p I'll keep accumulating stars knowing those pesky drills needed to upgrade will be few & far between

EDIT: Just remember @mingling any really desirable craft trade product is level 4 or 5 & to get there will require massive amounts of not only the craft drop items, but also crops, tree fruit and/or products to produce said craft trade products. Are you going to buy the necessary ingredients from the market or have to wait while growing the needed items?
You can start an artisan trade anytime after you reach the needed level, but is your barn ready to go?

I have only one trade(Confectionery) and I haven't used stars to get another one. In Confectionery I am on level 4 and I have stopped since a long time to make anything or trying to level up. I don't see the worth of another trade for my farm because if I need any trade's product I will buy it from the market.
So I suggest going for the other runes and not for another trade. But this is my opinion based on my farm's needs.

Personally I like to have the artisan trades just because, but if it is bucks you are aiming for I think the workshop house or whatever it's name. It will give you a bit more space, workshops tends to take around the same time to finish, and you have the chance (even how tiny tiny tiny it is) to receive a mythically drill. If not actually a chance you defo will have hope.

mingling, if you are specifically looking at the Spa or the Alchemist shop, I'd suggest you go elsewhere. The Florist, if you don't already have it has the two MM recipes available in Jack's Shop. Crypt Vase, level 2 and Terror Bouquet level 3. TBs sell reasonably well during MM especially if it is longer than 24 hours. It will require many Paint pallets though so you should keep that in mind. I haven't gotten any of the Storage facilities but I agree that the Manufactory is the one to go with. I think the most drill drops others have reported have come from there and it is the most likely to save you time/space. (You could fill it with Paint pallet factories and then in the future use them at the Florist, lol!) :)

Thank-you one and all for your time in this matter, had me on the wall as to open the artisans the drops will store up but to be able to get them long workshops out of the way got mind stuck.
I will go for the Manufactory, and get to work on getting more stars. I may have to breck down and spend the 1.99 and get the florist open I did'nt want to spend RL money on ming but the flower shop does have nice sale tickets in the market and I'm missing the bakery items big time.

    Again, thank-you.
