Power Drills

Since power drills are going to be in dire need to upgrade all six stables, has anyone actually gotten any, and if so how? I believe this will benefit many people greatly if we can just figure out how to snab those elusive power drills?

I am sad to say.....I haven't received a single power drill. Like a numpty, I bought the 2 menageries and maxed them out right away(finished the quests...so I could have all the blueprints to level up). I did also get 2 manufactories and am halfway through those quests. I did Not buy the arboretums. They seem to be a poor investment.
Basically...I'm disappointed and am kicking myself for giving up so many resources for a few more slots.

 

In another thread I've seen TWO reports from people who actually recieved a power drill, and about FIFTY reports from others that didin't. It seems super rare and thus hard to obtain object. With this rate we *might* be able to upgrade in a year. Or two.

At least the quests do provide a reasonable amount of EP/TEP on completion.

 

I have 2 Menageries and 2 Manufactories and have gotten no drills from either!!! Will be a long wait! Holding out on buying the 2 Arboretums. Good luck to us all with the drills!!

 

I haven't goten any Powerl drills either

 

None here either...now this lack of none is actually making me sick!

 

Not a one here either!! I wonder if we need to do the Farmer's Society quests for the houses before we start to get the drills???

 

i have one PD got it in second week when i had the first 3 warehouses two or three days later
on Baha i have only the Menagerie
it will probebly take several months to get 5 or 6 PD to upgrade that is a target to get too
if you get it all in the first month than the developers cant keep ahead with new future,s i guess

There is no trick, just time. That is the thing about random -- it is unpredictable, even if we humans sometimes try to interpret patterns.

I would suspect that, like any other drop bit, the longer the items, the greater the chance of a drop of all types, including powerdrills. However, there is no other factor we can control.

Eventually, they will come... but it will take time.

 

I think it took less time to get scrap metals to built a cookware forge...

It is how the developers set up the algorithm......clearly it is setup to zero point zero zero zero......you get the point!! Like woody said.....PD's will become available when game survival needs to be addressedAnd that means opening up your wallets yo

 

I have not purchased any of these but my question is.....how many wooden mallets does everyone have? I only have 20 in my barn They are very few and far between in drops for this farm. Maybe I should look in the refinery to see which crop may in crease the chances of getting those

 

Yes, but remember that we got them from a lot of fields, not just manufactury.

 

If the PD go the way of feather collectors, I won't get even one until a crop is refined to increase chances. To this day, I've never gotten even one feather collector without using refined roses. Since PD aren't regular drops, don't see that happening any time soon.

 

I have 41! Are they being used in anything else than upgrading the storage houses?

 

They are the special tool for building peanut butter factories.

Cauliflower, iris and asparagus have refinements for wooden mallets julie - they really help a lot!

 

No power drills for me either, got 54 mallets and 20 just called 'tools'.

 

The moment this game provides me a power drill I'll make a 3D scan from the pixels, head over to BP HQ and use it on their building to see if it's one which will shake the dev team up.

 

I got my first and only PD about 4 days ago. Patience is a virtue so I've been told. WAITING!!!!
