I love buying Decorative/Ornamentals trees in Pirate Pete's Shop, I wish there were a greater variety to "jazz up" my farm! Does anybody else like having a wider variety to choose from?

Sorry, I'm not into trees that only look pretty. There are so many other trees in the game that look pretty and produce tree fruit to help advance in the game. We already have issues with enough places to put our game items. So, no, I don't want more deco/ornamentals trees or otherwise.

At present, I concur with Sweet_Cassiopeia. I guess we all play for different reasons. I personally would not purchase something just because it looks pretty on my farm...I would go bankrupt;)

I am already over-filled with giver items, which are not only fun to look at, but offer things as well -- be it EP or something else. I just don't have room for more pure decorations.

The only way I would even consider this (and even then, not for money or BB), would be if it did not take up farm space, but I would far rather efforts be put into productive aspects of the game.

I never check Pirate Pete's Shop. I don't buy any decoratives, no space to put them.

Arielh, I do check the Pirate's Shop. Not for decos but for the occasional crop bargain offer, fruit producing tree discount or basic animal pen discount. I can sometimes put the crops back up for sale in the market. Quick turnaround for a profit. :)

SC, I thought there were only offers of decos and recipes. Interesting what you just mentioned:music:

I'm a very functional person, and decos are just not my thingie. However, some players love to decorate their farms so I kinda wouldn't mind this suggestion if the decos were to be purchased for CC and not a part of the mystery tree events. (I still remember the let down by the rainbow tree). And I think it would be a good idea if we were to get a display garden where we could put our decos, and stalls and what not to make pretty and beautiful, but wouldn't be able to harvest. Purely for the beauty. I think a lot of players would enjoy putting it together. And after a very short time a lot of us have managed to gather a lot of stables, decos which we don't use but still enjoy looking at.

I do this as well. The only deco item I bought was a flag. I bought water tanks early on, before I ran out of room, and one 1X 2 deco item to activate a cloud row (back before G & T were common) as well as the things you mentioned.

    8) I love beautiful and decorative things...but as has been mentioned - they must have a function, be it CC's or for feed!!

Wow-- So the majority of you folks only care about something if you're profiting from it. Nice. I think this is the last time I'll try to interact w/ "those people" Ugh.

    8) Circleeh, profiting from our hard 'work' in this farming game is the primary goal of the game - building our farms, and 'making a living', just like in the real world....only better, because it is a fantasy. It is a 'dream' to be able to create a lovely, large, cc-producing farm.:music::D

But 'the majority' of folks here in this forum - which you will find out in time - are very loving and caring and generous folks, who, among other things, give of their 'profits' all the time to others who have a need.
I wish most of 'those people' were my neighbors in the real world!!!:inlove:

Circleeh the game forces players into becoming practical - sometimes I wish it were not so. There is a limit to the land and how much can be placed out at a time - but there seem to be few limits on what the game will require players to achieve to finish events, etc.:wuerg:

As farmlily3 said, most people in this forum are very nice and willing to share with new players and those in need. But they wouldn't be in a position to share if not for keeping to what is practical for farm advancement.

Please do not feel that beauty is not loved for itself - I have a two rainbow trees out just for that reason! I just limit myself to one or two favorite decoratives, and I suspect that is what many others do as well.:)

I am sorry that you take disagreement as an insult. I don't believe anyone here intended to insult you at all. People here like different ideas, but liking to hear differing ideas does not mean we will agree with them all. That is just how things work. I have posted many ideas and while some were appreciated, I have also gotten a bunch of "sorry, no" responses as well.

As stated, its not that people disagree with new decorations, but our farm space is limited -- that is just the nature of the game, more so as you progress.

circleeh I think you will also feel the same about deco items eventually. I have played for more than 5 years, in the first years I loved decos but then we had so many event and quests so it was impossible for me and most of us to still want them, or even if we still liked them we couldn't have them out in our farms for a lot of time.
We are not trying to profit but to keep up with the game's pace.;)
