My sister and I did the same thing. Cats, dogs, whatever we found came home with us, and mom was pretty tolerant, she'd let us take it in until we could find a home for it. She didn't even mind when we brought home frogs, bless her. There was one exception, tho, that I still remember vividly. We'd found a new friend and brought it home for mom to see. She was sitting in her rocking recliner reading and not really paying attention to what we were talking about, and when we brought the bucket our friend was in over to show her, she just looked without thinking. After she picked herself up off the floor where she'd landed when she flipped her chair over backwards (a score of 9.9 for style and technique), she managed not to totally shriek as she ordered us to take the bucket and our new found garter snake outside immediately.

 

I used to tell my father that they just followed me home He always took care of injured animals, especially squirrels. We had all kinds of animals around us growing up. But for some reason my daughter Loves snakes so when I told her she couldn't have a snake my father told her to tell me it followed her home. She was allowed to keep it and the water monitors that followed.

I don't have pets of my own. But whenever I go to my relatives house and my native place, all their pets & animals become mine. Especially dogs. We go for long walks. Once I took my uncle's 3 months old dog for a long walk over the fields. everything was new to it. If a bug went past it, it would stop and keep following it with its eyes. Once we got a return ride from one of my cousin brother in his van. As soon as the van started moving, the dog's leg got shaking in fright. Then I hugged and made it sit down. It became calm. It was my special dog. I was its special friend. If I was there, it won't leave me. It had to be mercy-killed when it was 3 years old. I still fell sad at loosing it. Such a good friend. We used to have lots of chit chat. My uncle always have several animals in his farms along with cows. Geese, goat, sheep, cats, dogs, dove, rabbits etc. Whenever I go to my native place I fell very happy.

I discovered that cocks & hens too understand what we say. I was surprised. I said something to a rooster and it responded by fleeing away from the danger which was another arrogant rooster. Once I went to a hill station and I gave a biscuit to a monkey and in turn it allowed me to stroke its back and take photos. On seeing this others too came and took photos with it. All the time the monkey didn't even bat an eyelid. It didn't even look upon us. All it did was eat the biscuits we gave it.

Now, there are different opinions.
The oracle seems to like the idea of having the animals separated into birds, mammals. But what about and the crab and turtle/tortoise? There the answer of "arthropods" seems to make her happy. What else do you see/think of the animal pictures? Sorting them into the 4 elements are not so much of a lucky guess.
Three of them don't have a manufacture.
The animals guessed so far are toucan, goose, duck, tortoise, crab (which we don't have yet), monkey, cat, beaver, donkey, mouse and maybe the dog and not the cat. There are different opinions dog or cat. I don't see either of them in the picture. To me it looks a lot more like a hyena (that we also don't have). It also could be a fox ore wolf, they don't know. Newest post from the oracle confirms there is a dog, not a cat or so. And her glass ball get really clouded with the idea of crab and secret/mystery stable. But some breeding is coming up.

Now what about your ideas? My smoke detector almost went off just by reading the posts. There are to much animals to really prepare for it. But it sure is going to be interesting.
