And remember to keep your fingers crossed that the replacement neighbor isn't worse in some way! You know what they say "From the skillet to the fire" or "From the fat to the fire"....

"Out of the frying pan and into the fire" is how it is said around my area. :p Let's hope that doesn't happen. :)

Blessings on a grand new neighbor Karen. :)So hopeful the "move" goes through as planned, it will be a great relief.

Still there but hopefully counting the days.... both other neighbours are wonderful and we couldn't possibly get a worse one. And yes her landlord will be getting champagne and chocolates!!! :)

    Pretty in Pink...
I have just put Freya in her "Big Girl" head collar/halter... Plenty of growing room in it. Both girls are now in pink but I'm sure you will still be able to tell them apart.

It's a feature of my Boy Hector today... for all his fans. :)

He had a few days of either being grumpy or playful, not quite sure which. Steering me around his paddock between his antlers and chasing Mischa incessantly but he's back to being calm again. His antler's are cooling at the top now and the gland vents under his eye's starting to open, so I think he will be stripping his velvet soon but I am hoping he can wait until next Saturday to reorganise the herd after we wave goodbye to our lovely baby boys.

2 sillies, one not so much fun and then a normal...

In the first pic he looks as though he is saying "careful, I've got my eye on you!"

Hey Sand... the tissues are out already... :(
I'm doing a daily dairy now... while I can... 9:00am 27th Aug British Summer Time, their new owners will be with me and be here for 2 hours (for and intensive handover)... Then the babies will be on the road from 11am BST for I reckon close to 11 hours (with feeding stops etc)... ....
I won't sleep until I know they have arrived.... and forget that, probably not until I know their tummies have settled with new pastures and "pooping normally" not depressed, playing... etc... They will be relocating with the pellets hay etc that they have been used to... but it will be ages before I stop worrying!!! :)

Oh my goodness BoHoKaren, That is a very long, long trip for those little guys, and yes, plenty of time for you to worry about how they are doing! I would be out of my mind till I heard back how they doing!
But as usual you have them well prepared for their trip with their proper food and such, bless you for that, and I hope all goes well!:inlove:

I do hope that the baby boys will have a safe trip to their new home, especially since they will be travelling all that way on a Bank Holiday weekend!

I'm in trouble today.... Babies hate me... :(

Weather became so hot that I penned them up and turned the hose pipe on them... They have avoided me ever since.

Thursdays planned worming may need rethinking as I thought I could do them quietly as they (had been) happy with me handling.... until today's hosing!!!
Trouble is they are intelligent animals and may not go into an enclosed area for a few days... Plan 36B may need to go into operation!!! :)

Poor babies, and you are just trying to help them in the heat! Maybe they will forget quickly and you will be able to get them wormed in an orderly manner! LOL:p Good Luck with that!;) Nice picture :)

Rattle a bucket of grain and they will all come running;) Lots of head scratching and before they know it they have been put up for medicine. Some hay or tasty treats will have them forgiving and affectionate once more.
