FAQ's out. Lettuce and carrots in high demand, good PF rewards, decent CR.

opal basil: 15,000 (3 hr. crop)
chives: 10,000 (6 hr. crop)
lettuce: 18,250
carrots: 14,500
picnic baskets: 1000 (drops from crops, trees, stables, workshops, magic trees)

Looks like a doable event. We've got 6 days and all 5 fields available, so no hurry hurry. Good luck everyone, have fun!

I just checked my barn, I'm good for carrots, barely, but am actually going to have to grow about 4000 lettuce, lol. Never got my stocks back to 20,000 after last big call. bearbabe's all set tho, just waiting for prices to rise a bit to start selling. Lettuce is already sold out. I've got over 200,000 lettuce there, but price isn't quite where I feel like selling yet, will wait a bit.

 

Thanks Spots for doing the maths. A bit heavy on two of the basic crops, particularly carrots (needed for a lot of feeds and CAC) but at least most of us can buy/grow them or have enough in stock to cover this - I hope!

My biggest dilemma is do I clear four fields and get the event crops done quickly or just two fields, making it easier to put them back afterwards. Oh the decisions a poor farmer must make.

More mega crop growing!! Looks like another cloud row I'll be missing...
I'm already short one whole Green Meadow, as it is permanently planted in trees necessary to keep my farm fed and growing. Plus other fields with 'permanent' things, beginning with the new storage bldgs.....half of Baha is the same.
I'll just do what I can, I guess. Love the graphics, but Not liking the Direction Events have gone lately
Is anyone else in the same situation??

More land, less crops for Events would be a very welcome surprise, BP......

I have only 4 fields to plant (rainforrest not open yet).
Barn almost empty. My fear is the drop rate.

Lettuce and carrots are easy short growing crops, so I will plant them at daytime and overnight the event crops/long term to gert the necessary drops (hopefully)

I want that clowd row. I want the cloud row!!!! (magic stalk opened yeah)

In a bit of a selling frenzy, lol. Lettuce and carrots being so quick to grow, figure I can grow back most of them while getting seeds started. With CAC + scarecrow CR, shouldn't take too long. Any time I can make over a million CC from 10 offers of carrots, sign me up!

Thanks for the Maths, spots. My plan is to plant lettuce/carrots in between planting new event crops to stock up on necessities.
@farmlily3 My rainforest is out as it's full of trees and my glade is currently full of frogs, badgers and ladders - I don't want to rip them out, so down to 3 fields.
I was really enjoying having time to build my farm back up again .

carrots are sold out on my market, and only one offer for lettuce..

I have never seen things like that on the two crops....

A lot of crops to grow But I think this is my only chance of participating to an event with crops. Next month I won't have any time so I will prepare my farm for this
So I will plant my longest crop for the night but do you suggest planting it in 1x1 or 2x2 fields?

Can we use the carrots and lettuce we have in our barn?
Haven't got chives to grow and cannot buy them in the market ... are these a new plant ?
Have got Basil ...but not opal basil
Have lots in my garden growing ..wish I could use those

Yes Nellie you can use the carrots and lettuce you already have. Chives is the event crop you have to grow during the event, that's why you can't buy it.

Carrots and lettuce have been sold out(market 18.) but every now and then there are a few offers.
Thankfully I have a lot of lettuce but I need around 1000 more of carrots. I will grow them in super fields today!

This Event is Asking for lots of Carrots and Lettuce. Both of them are Vegetable Crops. It a Good Job been Hoarding them.

Now selling in the Market to make lots of CC. Will Sell All of Them. As can restock these after this Event. But Both 18250 Lettuce and 14500 Carrots can be Grown Considerably Quickly Even without using Refinements. Only Need to use CAC. As we can Grow Carrots and Lettuce while Nuking Opal Basil and Chives. But Advise to use Baha or Rain Forest to Nuke these Event Crops. As we can use Main Farm, Green Meadow and Glade to Stock up on Carrots and Lettuce.

But Those Who have Party Ticket Cloud Row can Take Advantage of +1 Veg Combined with CAC using 1 x 1 Fields. Which I intend to do. As Those who is willing to Rip up Fields as get all needed Carrots and Lettuce in No Time !!

I do think that many will be forced to Grow Carrots and Lettuce as they will be sold out in no time !! It Crazy to Think why so many farmers are willing to pay high prices for Carrots and Lettuce. Using CAC on it only can reap 18250 Lettuce and 14500 Carrots under Two Hours.

I am Shocked and Surprise that Lettuce is selling for more than Carrots in my Market.
