As an Added Pointer about using Suzy Super Grow Gives +4 (Using Comfort Fields)

I never using Suzy Super Grow on 1 x 1 Field But I use it often on 2 x 1 Field in Combination with CAC Activated in Diamond Slot.

As it also best to use Nuking Tactic of Super Grow, Suzy Super, Manure and Water. But it Best to Use Bahamarama Field to Nuke Event Crops. It Must be 2 x 2 Fields at First

The Main Field, Glade and Meadow can be used to Grow Stock of Carrots and Lettuce while Trying to Accumulate Ample Stock of Opal Basil and Chives to Plant in All Fields of 1 x 1

10 Seeds of Opal Basil and Chives can be made into 90 Seeds Each on First Nuking Round

Carrots and Lettuce have cooled in my market. Sold Nearly All of them while Price was High as it can be. It seems some of you are sensible to Grow Carrots and Lettuce Rather than Buying them....

For Those of you willing to do this Event without the Harvester then is Helps to have 2 x 1 Fields. But still need to build a decent Stock of Event Crops

We are able to get 150 Power Feeds during this Event, Which might implies we are going to need lots of Power Feeds in up coming Breeding Event. Wonder if my Hunch is right or Not !!

To Maximise Better Drops as you need to use any Howie Donuts you have, Plus Grow Crops In excess of 5+ Hours to have Better Drop Rate. The Help of Refinements and Alchemist Buffs that Reduce Crop times too help to have better Reap Rate of Drops....

I don't have any special CRs, but sold lots of carrots and lettuce and bought a few buffs in return.
CAC was too expensive so I got some Pumpkin jam.
Hope it will be enough to get all event crops grown in time.
@Mooboy: Thanks for the hint with the 5+hour crops. Presume it is the standard growing time you mean, before applying any of the buffs?

My plan was really just to uummm take a break from the break...kinda well let's see maybe you won't notice me going again - seems I can't stay away for very long anyway

 

SSG by itself only gives +2 unless you are using it on Comfort Fields (only available level 60+). Then it gives +4 on each Comfort field. Was this what you were referring to Mooboy? Or were you referring to SSG and CAC?

MARLYMAR, yes, to get the maximum benefits from Howie, use them like you would your trophies if you don't have them in the LL rune.

I'm not using SG on the Opal basil since that is a 3 hr crop and water & manure will be good enough to get those going. After I figure out which field is yielding the most drops, I will probably plant regular long-term crops to try and keep my drop rate up. I've been experimenting during the past few events and believe this helps me get the drops needed! Good luck to everyone and Happy Clicking as we will be quite busy clicking away!!

It was just pointed out to me that one could skip past the gold and diamond of Lv 1 ( unless you have to have the sticker) - a savings of 1600 Basil/3500 Lettuce/100 Baskets - - that just might make the difference for me. (I am usually sooo close on drops - 100 would make a big difference.)

 

Question: if you place XL or XXL upgrades over the 20 hr trees, does that in effect diminish the odds of getting good drops from them? I hope I asked that the correct way

 

Thanks all for you words of consolation - One Two, I didn't harvest anything. Too old in the tooth to fall for that one (farmous - thought this typo was appropriate - last words). I always check the event icon is there and seeds are in the inventory before doing anything. Made that mistake way too many times.

Didn't harvest all my trees at all, too much like hard work without the harvester which I am saving for the event starting TOMORROW!

Edit: This was still waiting to be posted when I got up this morning - brain just wasn't on straight yesterday. Hope I remember everything for the event starting TODAY!
