I have made it to Level 3 Mentor, Now have four Chickadee for Mentoring. It Taken a long time getting this Far, As it does takes good Chickadees to help me level up

Some Chickadees are good, Some Quit Playing after doing few Levels, By Experience some Chickadees do appreciate all the help they can get. Some of them just do not speak just hope we all get good Chickadees now and then

Just Wonder what you guys and dolls spend Mentoring Coins on in the Mentor Store ?

I get the breeding animals and Harvey Cottontail.
I now have 2 chicks who are dropping off and two spaces awaiting new chicks. Of the chicks I've had I think I managed to get 4 to actually graduate; these were the ones that talked to me. I will happily throw bread rolls to my chicks to help them level up.

 

I am looking forward to getting harvy! (or whatever superfriend I get)

 

Same here, breeding animals, and stars. Will save harvester function for when in a pinch. Some day I WILL get that dragon pet (got one from Renzo before they took it off, but want another, lve that flying lizard!)

Per Ariel: I remember Spots, you had mentioned you were shy(in one of the first posts I had seen from you) and I was really surprised because usually all your posts were big and you posted here so often!

I think she means I talk a lot.

I would sooner have done these FS projects instead of this event ...at least what i put in ....i am sure of getting something that i would like back And can take your time doing them

Thank you for the list. Somehow I am not too familiar with the latest FSQ arrangement. From your list I can find out the precious rewards, I have left out. Going to try for them. One of them is the cuckoo cloud row, another is the wampee tree. I had 2 wampee trees but when I checked now, I have none in my field or inventory. Must have traded them in G&T


I am still half way through second level in mentor system. Struggling to level up. I am now following spots advice. Do not message the chicks. I think its spots who said that in one of her post. It find the advice useful. Some chicks continue playing if I don't send them messages. Just gifts alone. And farmer_broke has not appeared in my chickadee roost. So messages are reserved only for him. Else he has threatened me that he will show is magical boots.

I have not spent my social points except for one time gifts. Waiting to reach level 3 to spend them. And that will be......????

 

Yes, 12ss12, it was me who said I wasn't going to message my chicks anymore, lol. I don't seem to be following my own advice, tho. I look to see what level they are when I first get them, and if they are above level 3, I'll send a welcome message, if not then just a gift. Just graduated 2 chicks in the last week and 1/2, one of which was an alt farm, and the other I'm not sure. The 2nd chick only ever sent me 1 message to thank me for gifting them and to tell me the gifts were helpful and appreciated, which made me . They flew my coop yesterday. The replacement chick is playing for the moment, went from 6 to 10 since yesterday, so hopefully they'll keep going too. I'm also now 1/2 way thru level 2, will miss those lovely boxes o' love and level up points.

 

I have added the Rollinia tree to Mud Glorious Mud in the original list.

 

I am wondering how many truly new players we actually have that stay. The retention rate for any such game is going to be low, but it does seem that most of the "active" chicks are actually second farms. Not sure, but it does seem....

 

what level do you have to be on to access the forum???

flwrsndnc perhpas your chick is a BigFish player.....no forum access unless they open an account with BP forum. They can access the forum to read and not post without an account.

 

I finally got a chickadee who is finally asking me many questions. He is Hungarian & his posts are in Hungarian. I copy from Hungarian Forum to answer him/her. Also use google translator to communicate.

And he is asking me several questions everyday & at this rate, I will soon become expert in Hungarian Forum posts.

I have to still ask him to send me the lil o box as mentor gift. I will do it slowly as I don't want to frighten him away with my English or translated Hungarian.

I would have shown you the door a long time ago.

I gave up mentoring a long while back, I tried it again earlier in the year but still got the same old flashing red or players stuck on level 2. The active ones I did get never interacted.

 

There is a max number of times that you can fill the love bar with each chick. After 30 times of filling the bar you don't get credit. Copied from the FAQ: maximum of 30 full love bars can be redeemed by the mentor for each chickadee.
I too haven't done much lately with the roost....mostly due to RL

 

But I don't think there is a limit for the number of little box of luv points chicks can send?

I'm a level 5 mentor...so am not manic about points....although an active chick is still really fun! I've made some great friends & neighbors through the Chickadee Roost!
