SOS Life's A Picnic Drop Items/Picnic Baskets

Hi all!

The Life's A Picnic Event starts TOMORROW and this thread is for those who need a helping hand from fellow farmers to finish or achieve personal goals during this event.

The (very rough) estimated daily/24 hour period requirement is:

170 Picnic Baskets

Always remember to save your gifts till after the event starts so you can start to send event items straight away!

If you need anything else for the event, ask for it here.

Please note:

My main farm (Illy1996) usually manages to get all drops. If I do need help, I will post here, My second farm, Chevrefeuille should be okay too and if I need help, I will post here.

So If you receive gifts from either of my farms, please do not send gifts to either of them.

If you want to return the favour, send to someone else asking for help.

I have only one more day to complete event (due to RL) I will have all of the junk grown by tomorrow but at this point I need 400 more picnic baskets - I maybe alright but a little help wouldn't hurt. Thank you - thank you - thank you

Update: 325 left to go - last batch of chives growing - I grew too many basil (I like the color too much) trying refined roses on comfort fields with WI/FC/SG/poo and water - darn I don't have the good refinements and then I nuked a whole field of almost grown roses in 1x1's such is life - live and learn - I'll put in long crops and try to log in tomorrow night.
But there is still all day today.
At least I got all the PF.

Update: Even though it takes just under 3 hours to grow my barely refined roses on comfort fields with all the amendments - their drop rate is close to 99% - so that is a good thing - thanks for the help so far - only 127 more baskets three fields of the comfort roses and gifting for the day hasn't begun!!!

It's a 'piece of carrot' if I may quote someone....

Still waiting on those roses - 86 more baskets and I'm done - also husband says we are leaving later than I thought so - more time to harvest.

One more field to go and only 16 more baskets!!!!!

i don't usually need help because my farm makes enough for the event but for some reason this time i'm not getting as much. please help....thanks

i just wanted to add that i finished all of the quests but the last one but it wasn't because i didn't have enough baskets.. thanks everyone for all your help.

 

i could use some help. at this rate i'll not get enough baskets.

 

I have been farming my _utt off and I am only half way with drops ( a smidgen over 500).
Help would be greatly appreciated if there is any room for me!!!

I should be done with event crops today but will need some extra help on picnic baskets, currently need 344. will be first event I have been able to complete in a long time if I make it. all fingers and toes crossed

All crops grown and safely stored in the barn. But drops are really scarce.

I don't know if I can make it without help.
At the moment there are 118 drops left. And thats without task 1 gold and diamond.

Is there anybody out there with a helping hand?

So please don't send any baskets to me any more. I need 110 (got drops even from oat plantings) still but that should be doable.

Any help would be appreciated. A kind neighbor sent me CAC so I was able to get all the crops done and have gotten my trophy up to 9% but still need some picnic baskets. Right now I am faced with having to pick the last EP giver and miss the power feed and cloud row or get the row and not fill it. It will be close but with a bit of help, I think I can finish. This leaves out gold and diamond steps on level 1.

Thank you all for the help you have given me. I am still 300 short and that doesn't count the sticker. I have all the crops but the drops are still not in my favor. If anybody can help I would appreciate it. BasicBasil

things IRL have been beyond insane for the last several weeks... I know there is no hope of finishing this event but sure would be nice to get at least the 50 drops i need now... gosh i think about 4 hrs left...thank you one and all that may help.

 

Thank you so much to everyone who sent a picnic basket! I just harvested and had enough with your help to get both the cloud row and the final giver to put on it. I could not have done it without the generosity of the farmers in the forum.

 

I want to thank everyone who helped me out. This community is so wonderful, but sadly I didn't finish I did get everything else but the last two givers. Hugs to you all Basil

 

I am sorry to read, that you couldn't get the last two givers.
I found the drop rates quite strange and scarce.
Hope you can get the givers at the next G&T.

Don't give up. Hopefully the next event you will be able to finish
