Recycl-O-Mat Strategy

This is truly amazing! No one will tell me about how many junks I need to grow! Ya grow every other junks that ya can and now no one will grow junks but me. Fine.... go your own way. Got my CAC running and first 10 junks planted and I'm really ready to grow junks.

 

But...but...broke. You were told not to grow any junks!

Aluntino post 18 "Therefore, 2 conclusions follow from this: the event crop is a complete loss of time, space and effort,... "

Mooboy post 24 "It is also Totally Pointless to Grow Star Flower for this Event in Any Field."

Mir85 post 42 "The event crop can be useful for new players that don't have any long crops yet. " (Which I don't think you qualify for.)

 

I have the answer to my question. It took me a half hour (roughly) to complete the Cloud Row. Here's how it went:

10 - sticker, rocket science, party ticket, hhc-1hr, 20k cc, 25k ep x4, 8k tep, pumpkin jam, pineapple cake = 12 donations
25 - astro half pipe, party ticket, hhc-3hr, 45k ep x2, 18k tep x3, zucchini-apple bread, pumpkin jam = 10 donations
35 - cloud row, beam me up, 36k tep = 3 donations

So for me it took 25 tries at the various battery amounts. I hope it goes the same with ya'll!

I'm donating produce reaped from my refined crop. The drops I get from growing are much better AND the value is more than double those of the event crop.

I have the same issue here. Frankly I was surprised at how fast I was able to get the cloud row, plus doing it with the batteries I had. THAT was nifty!

I know meba, frustrating isn't it. You'd think CC's were made of gold or something. A few thousand here or there certainly wouldn't hurt anything.

Oh how wonderful to hear from you. And of course I hope you smile. But I must warn you: my defense of junks growing will lead others to question the actions they have already taken.

• I have many days left to grow junks. AND there is no other crops available to grow where I will be awarded 126 ep (without buffs) for an 8 hour crop or longer! (I can chase ep if I choose and when I choose. )
• I will loose the opportunity to grow these junks with such a high ep in a few days. Ignoring that: I alone choose what I grow and when I choose to grow it and when I choose to harvest it and if I decide to water and if I decide to poop it and if I decide to super grow it and ..... now get this ...........and whether or not I even wish to submit it to the recyclo thing or not ..... up to me.
• Agree, not a new player and I again strongly recommend that new players stay completely away from this event. No need to discuss a much more rewarding path here.

And just for you and always being so nice:

• What others choose to give to the recyclo thing had some value. My event junks can be equated also.
• Naturally no one has mentioned the ability to grow on BAHA or the BAHA ep

I think I will do just that. I wish to be a proud junks grower with distinction and purpose and drive and direction and class and all that other jazz.

All fields will be full of junks soon and no hurry hurry. I can only wonder how many hundreds of thousands of cc equivalent items farmers have thrown away now assuming they are finished with the event.

hmmmmmm .... what is the absolute most a farm can put into the recyclo?

I got the CR and the rocket science giver. Plus my very first Badger . Lots of cc's, harvest coupons, zab, ep and tep. Just waiting for more batteries.

 

I got the cloud row and 2 items but after trying many times I haven't got the Rocket Science. Do I waste many 1000's of crops, trees etc or do I give up now?

CR is up and running. Yes, it is a bit of a disappointment but about all we can do is move on Good luck to all!!

 

Got my second giver to the cloud row ...only need beam me up and try for the badger and i have all i need from this event ...then can get back to restocking my barn .. if that gives me more batteries i will try and get some power feed ...for breeding without baby doomer
They are harvesting the fields where i live ...was hoping they would leave me a few nublon batteries to pick up...but no such luck

Is it strategy to play the L level first until you have the cloud row and giver, and then M for the next giver, then the S until you have the 3rd giver, or just common sense?

 

I was on a hot streak with the first donations: Got the CR with my very first donation, then PF and 12H coupon, tried my luck for a fourth time with Pool A and got TEP - not bad but was hoping for the 'Beam me up' giver item. Pool B gave me Party Spin, Textile mill and 'Astro Half-pipe' giver item along with EP x2. Now waiting on more nublonion batteries to try again for the Badger Set. I'll probably stop then, not too terribly inspired to complete my CR.

I started the event(finally)
First try: The Cloud Row Then I tried a few more times to get the event item but I didn't.
So I got: 2 x 2 CAC, 1 Vial of Growth, 3 Party tickets, 1 12-hour coupon, 2 x 7000 CC
After that I tried with 25 batteries and I got: 45.000 EP, 1 Badger Sett, 2 Party Tickets and the Astro half-pipe
And I runned out of batteries!

Congrats It will take longer for me. I still need 2 of the 3 items.

wich is nice just collecting prizes for the fun off it
